  • I Always Trust Advantage Chev BB When I'm Looking To Buy

    I bought my beloved 2014 Equinox here just about a month and a half ago, and I'm still so happy with it. The best part about having this car is the experience I had with Advantage Chevrolet of Bolingbrook and the two gentlemen who helped me out, Freddy Pantoja in Sales and Ryan Sitter in Finance. When I walked in, I told Freddy that I'd done my research and chosen a few cars on the lot that I wanted to test drive, and he walked me right over to my choices, then sat me down afterward and helped me work out a finance plan. And once I chose my car, Ryan was super helpful and made sure to point out every detail in the financial contracts I was signing — making me feel incredibly secure and like no one was trying to go behind my back to leave anything out. I also bought a car here in 2012 (which is now given to my younger brother, there's nothing wrong with it!!!) and each time I've gone through Advantage Chev of Bolingbrook I've felt secure and like every detail has been relayed to me before I sign anything. Thank you guys!!!

  • Amazing Customer Experience!

    I started the process with Mark and Jim by sending them my wish list of features and they got back to me with two vehicle options within an hour. Mark then called me to thoroughly explain both vehicle options to make sure I was getting what I wanted. He took the time to break everything down for me and explain every single detail in a way in which a novice car buyer would understand. When I visited the dealership for a test drive, Steve took over and gave me a very detailed tour of the car, explaining what every bell and whistle did. I probably had about 2 hours worth of questions for him and he patiently answered all of them. That's not where my experience ended, though!! Mark and Steve both called and/or texted me the day after my purchase to see if I had any questions about the vehicle. They are true professionals... the entire staff was. Throughout the entire process, I never felt pressured to make a decision. Mark and Steve were both very honest and upfront with explaining things to me and answering my questions (and there were a lot of them!). Obviously, they have a job to do... but I honestly didn't feel like I was being sold a vehicle, I felt like I was being given advice from two friends that had my best interest in mind. I love the vehicle that I purchased, and that's because they helped me do the research I needed to do to make the perfect decision!

  • Buying my 2017 Volt

    From the time I walked into the dealership and was greeted at the door by my Sales Advisor Victor Riley and the Internet Sales Manager Jim Galbraith until I finished the sales paperwork with the Finance Manager Ryan Sitter, the atmosphere was very friendly and also very professional. Vic and I "walked thru" the functions of the systems in the Volt, then we went for my test drive, during which he answered any questions I had. Then as the sales paperwork was being prepared, Vic walked me thru the dealership, showing me the desks for Service Department, the Parts Department and the Cashier. At the end of the sales process, Ryan walked me thru the sales paperwork clearly, quickly and carefully, even making time to review the electric car tax credit available for the Volt. Overall this was a very positive experience; I recommend this dealership very highly.

  • BEST DEAL OF MY LIFE!!!

    I walked into this dealership trying to trade in my 2015 Ford Fiesta Hatchback and after they did their whole car analysis they were able to find out that my car that I was sold at another small dealership had a bad title and was an "auction only" vehicle. I was really upset because now my car was only appraised at $500 because the car is not profitable for any dealership! Ryan S, was actually very helpful in providing information on how to fix my situation and go back to the small dealership to reclaim the money they stole from me! (those crooks! lol) Apart from the sad stuff, here comes the good stuff.. Ryan was able to pull through with an amazing offer for the 2016 Chevy Malibu I wanted! I got the lowest APR of my life!! lol compared to the 33% apr I was being charged from my last purchase (because that was my first car). Everything went pretty smooth and fast! Ryan is just a great character all around! I will recommend anyone to this dealership!!!!!

  • Purchasing "Certified Used Car"

    The only issue I had, was with the 'certified' I purchased. The length of this 'certified used car' that I paid for, I found out was only for 2 years, and expired the week before I had my oil changed. I was told I had to be below 10% for it to be covered free. I waited and the 'certified' expired. Had the salesman who sold me the car and/or the finance officer clarified that it was only a 2 year warranty, I wouldn't have paid for that. When I found out that it was only 2 years, I felt like I had been taken advantage of, since no one said it was only 2 years. Is this why your name is 'Advantage Chevrolet.' You take advantage of people when upselling, and don't disclose all the information!

  • Buyer beware

    Beware of this dealership. They will confuse you with a ton of paperwork and numbers while eliminating rebates and bonus cash from chevy. They will have other salesman swarming you while going through the purchasing process. Stay away if you like your money.

  • Don't go anywhere else!

    Mark the new car sales manager was professional, courteous, and went out of his was to make our experience unlike any other dealership. They weren't just trying to sell us a car, they showed a genuine interest in our needs. Paolo helped us as well, and did a fantastic job providing information about our vehicle and the whole process. Ryan the Finance Manager was better than any we have dealt with before, going out of his way to get us the best deal possible. He truly cared and placed our best interest first at all times. I highly recommend the team at Advantage Chevrolet, and suggest starting there when looking for a vehicle instead of getting frustrated somewhere else.

  • Best experience buying a car

    My wife and I haven't bought a car in a while and expected the old typical stereotypes of buying a car.We could not of been more wrong. Doc was our salesman and could not of been friendlier.He was extremely patient with all our questions, knowledgeable, and we never felt rushed.Now here's where we were stunned going for all the financing.Ryan Sitter is has to be one of the best and nicest at their job.Right off the top he lets us know after some work he was able to get us a lower rate and a substantially lower payment.But it didn't stop there after talking with him for a few minutes explaining that because of my credit only my wife would be on the paperwork and we were worried about how this reflects on her credit score in the future as we wanted to buy a house shortly he said wait let me see what I can do here.Ryan was not only able to add me to the paperwork to help rebuild my credit but it only raised our payment by $2 a month.He had to redo all the paperwork already printed out just to help out my wife in me plan for the future. We will be returning for future car purchases and recommending these two to friends and family.

    This was one of the best experiences buying your car I've ever had. Barry was the most personable salesman I've ever dealt with. I had my two-year-old son with me and Barry made the buying process smooth fast and enjoyable. Barry even ran across the street to get a snack and juice for my son because I forgot them.     I am very pleased with my recent experience at Advantage Chevrolet. I had visited several dealerships already, and none of them were able to offer the lower price that I found at Advantage Chevrolet. Additionally, the experience was not difficult at all, and there was no pressure to buy. Since then, my salesman has been helpful in answering a couple of questions about the new car, a 2017 Volt LT. Overall, I'm thrilled with the Volt, it is amazing!

    My husband and I stopped in on Black Friday to see what inventory and deals on Silverado 2500HD looked like. While we were planning on purchasing one in the next several months a purchase wasn't planned for that day. Besides finding a truck and deals we really liked we were very impressed with those members of the staff we dealt with. Our sales consultant John Montgomery was very easy to work with, with none of the uncomfortable pressure we have experienced at other dealers. Finance Mgr Ryan Sitter was also very easy to deal with and very detailed in his explanation of paperwork and pointing out of forms we wanted to file separately. Overall great experience!

    We are return customers who have purchased 3 used cars in the past. They have a great selection of used cars at affordable prices. This was our first experience with a new car lease. The salesman Freddy was great. He answered all of our questions, and adapted well to the few times we changed our mind about colors and options. He personally helped us with the OnStar welcome call and got us set up the My Chevrolet app on our phones. Quick and easy!!

    From my initial phone call to Jim Galbraith, to setting up an appointment with Mark McAllister to meet my salesman Chuck Williams, everything couldn't have gone any smoother. After test driving and searching for the truck I wanted at other car lots in Wisconsin I finally found the exact truck I wanted at Advantage Chevrolet in Bolingbrook, IL. Ended up taking the 3 hour trip to buy my 2016 Silverado LTZ Z71. I am very pleased with the whole experience, and very happy with new Silverado. I highly recommend this dealership ! Rick W
