Andre Thomas was EXCEPTIONAL as our salesperson!
by Steve and Rene on 01/23/2023I have purchased many vehicles over the years, and there has never been a smoother process than at Advantage Chevrolet of Bolingbrook, Illinois. The success of my recent purchase is due in very large measure to my salesperson, Mr. Andre… Thomas. I have been wanting to purchase a Corvette (C8) for several years. I had finally saved up enough money, but there has been none is stock. If you found one, there was a “market adjustment” of $10,000 - $25,000 tacked on. When I first contacted Andre via text, I learned a car of interest on the Advantage website had just sold. Fast forward 6 weeks later. Andre remembered our communication, and he called me to say, “I have two Corvettes coming in on a truck. Are you still in the market?” Unreal, right? Well, that is exactly how the rest of the process was handled – professionally and thoughtfully. Even when I noticed a minor issue about the deal’s final paperwork, Andre took the time to hear me out. He saw where the mistake occurred (not of his making) and immediately corrected it. Please keep in mind, a 2023 Corvette is in very high demand. He could have told me, “Go pound sand.” Rather, he said to me, “It’s not about ego; it’s about doing what is right.” Amen! I, without reservation, offer my very highest recommendation for Mr. Andre Thomas. He is a man of high ideals, mission, and character, who not only “does things right” but “does the right things.”Reviews like yours are truly a breath of fresh air! Gary was great!
by Tyler H on 11/18/2022I came into Advantage Chevrolet of Bolingbrook with the intention of “just test driving” the new Bolt EUV — I had little-to-no knowledge of how EVs worked, and I was going in for a “do I love it, or do I hate it” assessment. After visiting… a few other Chevy dealers who claimed to have the car on their lot (which was not the case), I was thrilled to see the car prepped and ready for me to test drive when I pulled in. Gary Summers could not have been more kind, knowledgeable, or patient with me while I explored all the features of the Bolt EUV. After several test drive laps around the industrial park, I was sold, and was thrilled to be leaving that day with a new car! . . . except I had driven to the dealership, so now I had two cars to drive home. Gary graciously volunteered to follow me home in my new car — about 30 minutes away — and was a great copilot on the way back to the dealership, explaining even more features of the car as we went. Extra kudos to Ryan Sitter, who made the financial side of things easy, painless, and entertaining! The team at Advantage Chevrolet of Bolingbrook never made me feel pressured to purchase a car, never pushed an upsell, and was incredibly upfront about the expenses of purchasing an EV. Let’s all hope that gone are the days of the pushy salesman who gets you in a car you never wanted in the first place, and that more dealerships start operating like Advantage Chevrolet!Tyler, thank you and congratulations on your purchase! Dream Car

Lightning Strikes Twice

Fast forward three years to August 2022. I was in an accident with my Volt… and the insurance company totaled the vehicle, forcing us into another purchase. With cars in short supply, and hybrid/electric vehicles even more so, we were thrilled to find a 2022 Bolt EUV on the lot at Advantage, and even happier when Andre greeted us at the door. He welcomed us back, and we took a test drive immediately. The price was right, and we became Advantage customers once again. The whole process at Advantage Bolingbrook, from scheduling a sales appointment, to financing, to driving off the lot was pleasant. Very rude and disrespectful

I called to inquire about a car and sales man was we don’t sell you guys!! I am limo company. He… would not give me a reason. I pay money like everyone else. The salesman Jim Galbraith went as far to say I hope you and your children and childrens children burn in hell!!! What kind of people are you! This guy is a disgrace to humanity and should immediately get fired!! I will continue to reach out to a network of 5000 drivers not to deal with these arrogant rude and nasty disrespectful people.We acknowledge your review and are currently looking into the events you’ve detailed.

Came out with an amazing up grade .

Mr. Andre the Sale Specialist say he had a surprise for me.. and he Really did .. an beautiful well kept Infinity I just fell In love… with it. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine me driving and infinity. I would like to very much thank the sales team Advantage Chevrolet for their patients help me to decide. Special thanks to Ms. Samantha whom I have known for years, I really appreciate her help with recommending the Sales Team and Mr. Andre. Now if I could only get the second set of keys to my Suv. I wasn't told of this situation until after the sale the next day. I really hope I won't need to come out of my pocket for these keys.
