He kept us informed of the delivery progress throughout the… process, and when the delivery day came, he spent all the time we wanted to walk us through our new car. by Chris Roberts on 07/27/2021After many purchases over many years I have confirmed that Wickstrom is the best dealer around if you want a good deal and a transaction with the least amount of fuss. The parts and service department complete the simple and full lifecycle… of your ownership. In the end, you might save $1 elsewhere, but not $2, but the overall stress levels are not worth it. For the best of the best ask for Don DiPaulo when you get there. I have been a repeat customer with him and them for years.Wow, thank you so much for the incredible review, Chris! But Jamie made the process extremely easy. I had called the day before and… Jamie helped check inventory to make sure they had what I was looking for. He then helped me set up an appointment for the next day. When we arrived, not a moment was wasted. He found the car I wanted - WITHIN MY BUDGET - and was able to get us out the door my new (used) car in a few short hours. Jamie was lovely to chat with and very personable. by Mike on 05/13/2021Cannot thank Eric Jensen enough. As someone who’s been in the Automotive sales industry for 10+ years I’ve only ever really bought cars from myself. But looking for a particular used car makes that almost impossible. Finding the car I… wanted was a challenge but after that Eric made everything easier. Prompt in his replies, provided photos and videos of the car as well as let me know of any flaws beforehand. The services he stated would be done were completed and to top it off I was an out of state buyer. I flew in early morning, got there before store hours and my car was there waiting for me prepped detailed and ready to be driven back home 12 hrs (Chicago to New York). I only ever buy from myself because I know what type of attention to detail I bring to the table and being able to find it elsewhere is a breath of fresh air, I cannot recommend Eric and his dealership enough. With that being said, Wickstrom was a god send. I went to a handful of other… dealerships before heading into Barrington Wickstrom, I won't name names, BUT I will say that Barrington was night and day compared to the others. You are immediately met with friendly faces and an environment that is classy and professional (not what I got at other dealerships, AT ALL). Also, it was very COVID friendly for anyone who is nervous about shopping during this time. All precautions are set in place and followed, very spread out and clean! I had set up an appointment with Jared, who met with me and my mom and treated us with nothing but honesty, kindness, and great knowledge to answer any questions we had. I never once felt like I was being tricked into buying something that I wasn't 100% comfortable with. This happens often with salespeople where they will just try and sell you anything to make their commission and this is not a feeling you will get while car shopping at Wickstrom. I signed paperwork with David who made the process super quick, while explaining everything to me, page by page (he will keep you laughing along the way, as well). So moral of the story, if you are in the market for a car.....go to JARED!!! ;) You will not be disappointed.Hi Andrea, we can't thank you enough for your rave review!
