  • I Will Never Cheat On You Valley Honda

    I Love Valley Honda so much that if I were to ever go to another dealership, I'd feel guilty for cheating on "MY Valley Honda". - They've built the atmosphere where you don't feel like you're in a dealership, but at home - I've had the opportunity to work with x2 different individuals and I can say that my experience was just as satisfying as the other. This concludes the idea that there is only "one good salesman", It's a TEAM of good Salesman.

    When I began shopping for a car I went on a quest and literally drove nearly every car available between 10k to 40k. Some dealerships were nice, and some were terrible. Valley Honda was by far the best dealership I visited. They were helpful and informative, and the entire experience was accented by Randall Rosen. Out of the 12+ dealerships and sales people I worked with, he was the friendliest and the best. He fought hard for my sale and got me an amazing deal on a 2015 Honda Fit. I have no remorse and am extremely please. Thank you!

    I purchased a Honda CRV from Valley Honda yesterday and was so pleased I was compelled to let others know how fabulous the process was. (This is my first online review I've ever written for anything!) I started my search online thru Edmunds, specifically asked local dealers to email me quotes, and my Valley sales rep, Bill Terhorst, was the kindest and most efficient of all of the dealer reps. I was amazed at how many others called me repeatedly (I had specifically asked for no phone calls; emails only), emailed non-stop, and even provided incorrect quotes. From the minute I walked in, the people were friendly, warm, not swooping down on me like vultures. It was simply good energy all around. Normally dreading the car buying/lease process, I immediately felt at ease. The negotiations with Bill were smooth, non-threatening, and above all quick! There was no intimidation, only a feeling that the goal was a win-win..unheard of in my past experiences! I walked away feeling extremely satisfied that I received a very good deal, even with a trade in, and received sincere appreciation from the entire staff, Overall, I was simply amazed that the whole experience was so positive. I highly recommend Bill T and Valley Honda!

    We bought our 2009 Honda Odyssey from these guys 3 months ago. The van is terrific and we love the convenience of it for a family of 4 soon to be 5. The salesman we had was fantastic and for the first time I experienced a finance manager that was great as well! We had no problems with these guys, they gave us a super deal on our trade (more than bluebook) and were upfront about everything. The facility is great and clean! No complaints at all, and for the first time in my life we are taking our car to the dealer for maintenance. Great staff!!

    My wife was looking for a new car, and had researched the possibilities. When we went out looking, a Honda was on her list, but not very high on the list. We stopped at Valley Honda just to check out the styling of the civic. Our salesperson, Dan Pantalone was excellent. Took more time than he probably should have to go over the features and qualities of the various models. Showed a strong knowledge of the car industry as a whole, and never bad mouthed any other make. We checked the other cars on her list, and no other dealer came close to Valley Honda. We went back on a Saturday afternoon, and they were packed. Nevertheless, Dan stayed late, almost three hours after the dealer closed to help finalize the paperwork. We were extremely impressed by their professionalism. My wife ordered some minor accessories, and took the car in the next week to have them put on. Not only was the service as good as they had said, it was better. Only problem was that the loaner they gave my wife was so nice, we wanted to buy that too! Anyone in the Chcago area who is looking for a new car should consider Valley Honda for their next purchase.

    I have lived in Chicago for almost 8 years, so it always surprises me on how different the suburbs are. The people are for the most part more patient, nice, and honest. This is also true for the staff over at Valley Honda. From start to finish, they run a first rate quality organization that will make even the most jaded of Chicagoans, like me, believe that true customer service still indeed exists. On Saturday, February 28th, my wife and I had decided to purchase our first new car from Valley Honda after negotiating and looking at other dealers for 4 months. When we entered Valley, we were amazed at the beautiful showroom area and the amenities for prospective shoppers like Starbucks coffee, Tazo tea, and courtesy laptops while your car is being serviced or what not. Because our salesperson Mohit Saini was busy with another customer, we were handled by Lori. She was extremely pleasant to work with and assisted us in our final color selection. Although we were misquoted a lower price, Valley Honda honored the "out the door" price we had agreed on. Later on Mohit went over the basics of the car with us and made us feel comfortable with the features of the car. During the pricing confirmation and financing process, we were able to meet the owner Bob Navarre. He is sincere and professional and made us feel like he had all his customers' best interests at heart. When there was an issue/flaw we discovered in the interior the next morning (Sunday, Valley Honda is closed on Sundays), we decided to take the car in on that Monday to see how the problem could be resolved. After speaking to both the sales manager, Bryan Leisier, and the GM, Don, we were able to find a work around to replace the part. The dedication to customer service and professionalism of the staff at Valley Honda is remarkable. It made a favorable impression to me (enough to write this review). I got a phenomenal deal at Valley Honda and it was all made more perfect by the commitment of Valley Honda to put customers first. If you live in Chicago and are looking for a Honda, make the trek out to Aurora and go see for yourself. From my experience, I believe you will come away with a great deal and honest to goodness excellent customer service.

    Very clean dealership and friendly staff. I didn't feel that they were pushy and was able to get to the price I wanted after minimal discussion. Their inventory was better than the other dealers and I think that helped.

    Very nicely updated dealership - pleasant to visit as opposed to most others. Salesmen are very active, as expected. Negotiations start with reasonable offers on new car side and lowball on trade-in. All 3 times we were able to arrive at acceptable prices (substantially better than the TMV Edmunds.com suggested). Just do your homework and know what you want, and enjoy pleasant environment with Starbucks coffee, premium seats and Internet access.

    We ended up not purchasing a Honda Civic because of how poorly this dealership handled the sales process. We were all ready to purchase a new Honda Civic EX for a price that was quoted by them through an email. After going into the dealership and getting beat up on the price of the deal plus the amount they were offering for our trade, we walked out after wasting 3 hours of our life. My girlfriend was practically in tears because of the stress of dealing with them. Then, the dealership had the nerve to call us the next day and ask if we would come back in an renegotiate the deal. We stated we were not interested and they continued to call another 2 times over the next week. If you really want a Honda, you really should go somewhere else.

    Don't be fooled. This dealer is full of lie's and lines that we've all heard before. From the very beginning I was fooled by them with their desception. I was quoted a super low price on the internet and when I confirmed and reconfirmed that the price was right I decided to go in to buy the vehicle. They were $1200 less than any other dealer in the area. After I arrived they immediately tried switching me to different cars and said the vehicle that I wanted was now sold and unavailable. Later we found one similar but coincidentally it had over a $1000 in accessories on it. After being beat up for over 3 hours we left empty handed. Thanks for wasting our time for nothing. I suggest that any other dealer but Valley Honda!

    I recently visited Valley Honda after requesting a quote on a 2013 Honda Civic. Initially I was to meet with Mario M but when we arrived it was extremely busy so Mario had Katy M take care of us. We drove a coup and sedan and even went to look at other colors in the other lot. I had previously looked at a Mazda 6 and wasn't sure what I wanted to do. There was no pressure and I think they definitely did what they could to match the deal I was looking at on the Mazda. I was very impressed with the facility and the level of customer service. Although getting the Honda was a great decision the most important thing to me is customer service and Mario, Katy and Kurt all gave me a great first impression. I look forward to doing business with Valley Honda and will let everyone i know hear about them! Thanks Mario for helping me get my first Honda!

    As a first time visitor to Valley Honda and quite honestly a first time Honda buyer, I found both my sales consultant (Pat) and the dealership experience to be at the top of all my car buying experiences. I felt I was presented with a fair offer right off the gate, in fact one that beat the initial offer I had from another competing brand dealership. The dealer approach was not pushy or high pressure, something else I greatly appreciated. Pat was great to work with and it was a pleasant experience. The dealership has quite a few perks for its customers and the service area was so clean you could eat off the floor. Lastly, the porters and head porter are very proud of their work and it shows through when your new vehicle is presented. Overall, I will always make Valley Honda the first stop in future vehicle purchases and I recommend it to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. You may not be looking for a Honda, but after dealing with Pat and Valley Honda, you will probably walk out a Honda customer for life, I did.

    We arrived to a warm welcome, an offer of beverage and a showing of several of the Civics in which we were interested. All of our questions were answered with honesty and once we made our decision, the finances were finalized in a timely manner. Overall, our experience was excellent. Driving home our new Civic EX has brought us much satisfaction as did our experience at the showroom. Thank you.

    I started my research for a new car about six weeks ago and decided the 2013 Accord was the best fit for me. I did an online search and had five local dealers provide pricing for my car. All five responded initially, and then three of the five dropped off. Of the two remaining dealerships, only one - Valley Honda's salesman, Bill T., stayed in the game. Initially, I battered Bill with questions pertaining to the Accord as I am a first time Honda owner. Bill quickly answered all my questions and engaged other departments (finance and service) to assist me. But the most pleasant experience was the quality of the quote Bill provided. It was not a weak quote to get the discussion started, but was a serious and final quote that was superior to all the other ones. In fact I had to ask Bill even more questions because I thought for sure something was missing. We closed the deal based on this great quote. My family and I finally met Bill on April 27. The moment we walked into the dealer, we knew we were in the right place and the anxiety level dropped a notch or two. Bill and the rest of the Valley Honda staff greeted us warmly and within moments, Bill took us outside to look at the new Accord. Bill explained the car in detail and took us for a test drive. Afterwards, he made sure we understood his dealership was behind us all the way by taking us on a tour of this fabulous dealership. We knew then we would be buying a car tonight. My family and I decided on a Basque Red Accord EX with the 2.4L 4-cyl. Bill did not have one in inventory that day but worked to find one on April 29. We closed the deal on April 30. In summary, this was my first new car in 21 years and my first Honda. My experience with Bill T. and the rest of the Valley Honda staff made this purchase a pleasure and a memorable one. I encourage everyone to drop him a line and get ready for a true Honda experience.

  • Bought a Toyota instead of a Honda after visiting this shop

    The worst scam in car sales happened to us at this dealership. After looking for quotes on line as Edmunds advised, we were deceived into thinking they had the car, the make, color and the lowest price. A salesman with 13 years service, after 5 hours of sales talk and our card in hand for final purchase, said he couldn't sell us that car for that price because it was a 2014 not the 2013 he had been quoting us all along. Now, he didn't have the car he had quoted us, but he had other colors if we wanted a different car, but that deal was off. IN between the 5 hours, we sat with 3 different associates of this dealership never realizing each one had a different scam! We were so horrified at the worst scam we walked right into a Toyota dealership, dealt with the most wonderful associates and bought the Rav4 for a great price!

    Let me start of by saying that I am a recently widowed and I had the good fortune of meeting Joe, the Service Manager at Valley Honda-very trusting man. I called him and told him that I wanted to trade my car in on a new Honda and he introduced me to Pat M.; Pat proved to be everything Joe had told me about him - Joe said, Stella, we will earn your business ..and yes indeed, Pat did just that!! Pat was most knowledgeable about the vehicle that I wanted to purchase; he was very patient; he took a great amount of time to have me test drive both the Accord and the Civic; He worked with me on the price of the car; and then when I did purchase the car, it was, Stella, whatever you need--I will explain everything to you about the car -- and he did...He went trough that car with me and did not have me leave until I fully understood everything about that car...He helped me with the Blue Tooth , which I did not know anything about , he even helped me setup my radio stations - I am quite sure that there are not many sales people who would do that - he took plenty of time with me and made sure I understood everything about that care before I left the lot. I would recommend this gentlemen to my family and friends when purchasing a new car - Many times, I think Car Salesmen, get a bad rap but Pat has changed all of that for me and I in turn will tell others; as a matter of fact, when I was in the showroom, another man was there, also looking at new cars, and he said to me, you are so lucky to have gotten Pat as your salesman... I bought a car from him and he was great !!! I totally agree - thanks to Pat, my experience in purchasing a new car was awesome !!! In fact everyone at Valley Honda was more than nice to me - A big thank you to Joe, the Service Manager, and I apologize, I do not know his last name; but it is no wonder the Service Department is run like clockwork, with Joe at the head of the ship !!! Actually, Joe is why, I came back to Valley Honda... I bought my 2007 Honday Accord from this dealership and I was always so pleased with the Service and that is how I met Joe - and now I have my new 2013 Honda Accord and could not be more pleased. Thanks Guys....I think my husband would be smiling down, from Heaven and be very proud of my choice of car and also of the way I was treated by everyone at Valley Honda.
