Great service department!
by sayoko on 08/20/2010They go above and beyond the call of duty to provide fantastic service, including staying late for me when I had to work late but needed my van the next morning for childcare pickup. I also called when I had transmission problems on the… Pali Highway and I was panicked because I needed to get to school to pick up my daughter. Instead of saying I should wait two hours for AAA, they told me to just come on in for service right away driving slowly with hazard lights on then they took me over to my daughter's school.Fantastic service, great people, well worth the trip from town
by gloui on 05/07/2010Working downtown, we previously dealt with consistently incompetent service managers and mechanics at Pflueger Honda. Finally, we decided to take the drive to try out Windward Honda for a transmission repair and were amazed at their… knowledge and professionalism. Dalton and the team took the time to test drive our vehicle a number of times and mount sensors to accurately analyze a transmission issue that we had Pfleuger Honda try to examine three times with no success. They even worked closely with the Honda Extended Warranty agents to ensure the entire transmission replacement was covered under warranty! During my repair, they arranged for my loaner vehicle and even had it delivered to the dealership for my convenience. At the end of it, they also sent us out with a complimentary full service car wash from their auto spa partner, who also did a fantastic job. I will be driving to Kaneohe for all my auto service needs from now on. Honda Windward service is worth the extra effort for the friendly, knowledgeable team and great work.Top Notch!
by sgtaloha on 02/20/2010Have brought my 2009 CRV to Honda Windward since purchase. Each time I receive a warm welcome and thorough explanation of the service being performed. Car has always been ready when promised. Recently had a problem and brought it in late… on a Saturday. They needed to keep it over the long weekend (Monday was a holiday) but were able to get me a loaner car until mine was ready on Tuesday. Kevin was great, even when I informed him that someone banged into the rear end of the loaner. I bought my 2007 Civic from another Honda dealer but since buying my CRV, now bring my Civic for servicing to Honda Windward also. Couldn't ask for more from a dealer's servicing department.DON'T EVEN "THINK" ABOUT BUYING OR RECEIVING SERVICE FROM THESE [violative content deleted]!!!!
by mickey30 on 08/07/2008Uh, Honda Windward??? "They'll make a believer outta you"? Nah! Don't get caught up in the spin! In fact . . . DON'T EVEN "THINK" ABOUT BUYING OR RECEIVING SERVICE FROM THESE [violative content deleted]!!!! We bought a brand new 2008… CRV from these [violative content deleted], loaded to the gills with every feature you can imagine (sales price nearly $34,000!) just 4-months ago, and yet, when the very first oil change came due, they wanted $30.00 to change it! Crazy! Service Manager (Dalton Somebody) says that we had to pay EXTRA for that. Virtually every mainstream auto manufacturer on the flippin' planet provides free oil changes for the first 1-3 years or so, but not these [violative content deleted]! Toyota, Mini Cooper, hell, even junk auto manufacturers like GM provide this most basic service at no additional charge! Unreal! Are they being shortsighted? Uh, yuup! But hey, that's cool! We've lived here on Oahu for nearly 30-years now, and we know a few folks here and there, so we'll gladly spend the whopping $20.00 to get the oil changed elsewhere?!@#$%^&*? But guess what we'll do then? We'll make sure to spread the word to every single person we know throughout the state including every meaningful on-line auto forum throughout Hawaii and the greater U.S. Will their greed and arrogance have cost them more than $20.00? Automatic!caring service
by chuck888 on 12/09/2011updated 08/01/2025We bought a 2012 Honda Odyssey from Honda Windward. Our rep was James Kanealii Igawa. We really felt that he had our best interests in mind and he gave us a fair deal while making sure we didn't buy more car than we needed. I was almost… going to go for the Touring model but he showed me I didn't really need all that extra stuff for short trips on Oahu.
