I usually find cars for sale online, test drive and then spend hours waiting for papers to be filed and car to be cleaned etc. This time I found… the car online, sent an inquiry and within minutes was texting the Internet sales manager. I work in the medical field in Hilton head, so driving to Macon during the day was out of the question. And spending all day on the telephone to discuss a car was not an option either. I literally sent pictures and details of my trade in vehicle, completed an online loan application, got approval and worked out details within 2-3 hours of first contact. On top of that, they drove the car to me in Hilton head for free by lunch the next day, and drove my trade in car back with them. I bought a used car without ever speaking to a salesman or stepping foot in a dealership. Not a single minute was wasted in my day. I couldn’t have gotten personal service with Carvana like this. Maybe some people would want to spend time dealing with salesmen in a dealership all day. But for me, this was my dream situation and the car is perfect. Been about 3 weeks now and it’s ideal.Butler Nissan is awesome

I communicated via email with the staff, who were quick to send me pictures and information about the newly listed car (which I saw on the Carfax site). Then, as soon as the car was… available to be viewed, I was notified and was more than likely the first person who saw it. My salesman, Bryan Churchwell, was very laid-back and did not twist my arm into buying the van. The dealership worked with me into getting the payments that I could afford for the car I desperately wanted and needed, as my wife and I now I have three car seats to buckle in. The process was very swift, the waiting room very accommodating, and I must say this was by far my best experience buying a car.Gage and Shane

He welcomed me and thanked me for coming. He was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I explained that I was there just… looking at new automobiles and he explained the features of all the vehicles. And although I did not buy a vehicle that first time I did return several times and spoke to the same salesperson and eventually purchased a new Altima. I am completely satisfied with my new vehicle and the experience I had at Butler Nissan.Overall, A Great Experience

My meeting with Gary began with him making me feel at ease with a genuine concern that… he was going to take care of me. Jay, the General Manager, took some time to speak with me as well and that meant a lot. I did not feel pressured or pushed and was, at the end, at peace with my buying decision. Seems as if this dealership has a great team representing the Nissan brand.Very Poor Experience with dealer personnel
by swright12 on 01/11/2018I went to the dealership in hopes of locating a 2017 or 2018 Maxima SR on December 26,2017. I was car shopping and had already been visiting other dealerships in the same area. When I arrived at the dealership I did not receive a greeting… or assistance from anyone at the dealership which should have been a sign to me to look elsewhere. After looking at a vehicle for about 10mins or so on the lot, I got in my car and left the dealership. I then called the dealership later that afternoon in hopes of locating the salesman I purchased a car from in 2011 at the Eisenhower location before the dealership moved and changed ownership. I was told that he did not work at that location. However, they were able to locate some previous information in the database for me. The salesperson I spoke with seemed to be very professional. He stated his name was Michael and that he worked in the internet sales department, he contacted me several times via phone and provided a few quotes for the vehicle I was interested in. The first quote I was given was totally unreal and so was the second one. I asked to speak with a sales manager and I was able to speak with someone by the name of Thad, who seemed to be very nonchalant and somewhat bothered because he was speaking to a customer over the phone. After speaking with him , I spoke with sales manager Quinn on the following day. Ms. Quinn seemed to be a little rude and very short during our conversation but she did quote a price that was somewhat lower that the previous quote that I received .However, I felt as if I could get a better deal, I've purchased and leased several cars so I know how to negotiate to get the best price. Michael called me on December 30,2017 for a follow up, I explained that I felt like I could get a better price due to it being the end of the year and normally dealerships have huge rebates/ incentives for car buyers who purchase at the end of the year. He remained courtesy and transferred me to internet sales manager Quinn who again was snappy and stated the last offer that she quoted was a good deal. I asked to speak to the general manager and after a brief hold I was transferred to Jay Davis who had me on speaker phone when he initially answered the phone(very unprofessional) I asked to be removed from speaker and explained that I was looking forward to getting a car but felt that I could get a better deal than I had previously been quoted at the dealership. Mr.Davis then stated the quote that I was offered was a great deal and he is no longer offering the quote I was given. He stated I'm taking it off the table you should've taken advantage of it then. I was shocked that a General Manager was speaking to me in that matter so I said excuse me. He then repeated what he said again with me on speaker phone. I politely said okay thank you so much and hung up. I don't know if Mr.Davis was trying to throw his authority around or impress his employees. He demonstrated to me that my business was not wanted or needed at Butler Nissan of Macon so I took my over 750 credit score and business to the sister company Butler Lexus who allowed me to negotiate and purchase a vehicle from professional,knowledgable,respectful people who appreciated my business and values me as a customer.I will never ever refer anyone to Butler Nissan.I feel that the owners need to reevaluate who they have working at this location because they are clearly not there to gain customers. I am so surprised that the General Manger and Sales Managers behave this way. I am still in disbelief that I was treated this way.When interacting with customers all staff members should have patience and have the ability to genuinely empathize with the customer.It seems if the General Managers down to the Sales Managers needed to be dismissed from there current positions or retrained /coached on how to properly communicate with customers. It's not what you say all the time but how you say it.They all seem to lack tact. Not everyone is going to accept or go along with being treated this way. If the issues are not evaluated and addressed I believe that Butler Nissan of Macon is going to truly lose alot of potential customers.Great service
