  • Great Salesman!

    We went to the dealership to check out a 2023 GLC. Wasn’t sure from seeing it online if I liked the interior. We made an appointment with the salesman, Stephen Williams, to see the car that day. We met with him, and as it turns out, we didn’t care for the interior, but Stephen suggested we take it for a ride anyway. We did that and fell in love with the ride. He showed us another one they had with a few less miles, but was a different color we liked. We were able to make a deal that day. I had a very special car I was trading in and wanted to sleep on the deal. There was no problem. No high pressure sales, which was great. We’ve had the car for almost 2 weeks and we’re extremely happy with it. The only problem is, while looking at two different, yet same model, I was extremely confused as to what car had what equipment. I guess that’s my fault. Same model, with almost the same equipment, but the car we purchased did not have some of the same features as the one we ended up not buying. Lesson learned. Overall, good experience.

    I had a oil change and it was speedy. What impressed me was that my service manager identified that thee was a service recall, to update AC software, and set up an appointment for me - with a loaner car as it will take two days. They are right on top of things.

    I recently bought a used pre-owned vehicle at Mercedes Benz SRQ. The website and inventory were excellent. During my test drive Blake answered all my questions. The vehicle was in excellent condition and a couple of things that needed attention they ordered the parts. Waiting for the Service Manager to call to install the parts. I would recommend Mercedes Benz SRQ if you are looking for a high quality pre-owned vehicle.

  • New key fob

    My wife misplaced her key fob. I told her not to worry, she loses things all of the time, it will show up. The next morning she shyly informed me that she thinks it may have gotten thrown out in the trash. Of course, the garbage man had already picked it up. After getting a cost estimate from Mercedes, I took out a personal loan to buy my wife a new fob. We traveled up to Sarasota from Punta Gorda to get our new key and met with our usual wonderful representative and had our key about :45 minutes later. They even washed our car in that time! Our representative even gave us a recommendation and directions to Season’s 52 for a delicious dinner! We have always enjoyed our experience at Mercedes of Sarasota and this was no exception. I have sent several friends to Mercedes of Sarasota to purchase cars and all of them were very pleased with their experiences. It is a well trained, well run business.

  • Helped us get our vacation on track

    Can’t say enough about the staff and service. We suffered a punctured tire on our way to Sarasota from Canada. We managed to get it plugged and get to Sarasota. It was the day before thanksgiving and I called to see if I could get a new tire as we were worried as the puncture was near the side wall and we had 1500 miles to go the following week. They informed me they had to order the tire as they didn’t have the one I needed and scheduled me for first thing Monday morning. I arrived the staff was very helpful and I had a new tire installed in about an hour, they washed the car (getting rid of 1500 miles of bugs and dirt) and I was on my way coffee in hand. It was so great to be able to take care of this on short notice and during a very busy time of year.

    From the time I arrived for the service, picking up a loaner, and picking up the completed service was an exceptional experience. Taylor Williams, my service agent, managed the entire process in an outstanding manner. I was only at the dealer for about 10 to 15 minutes on arrival, my loaner car was ready and I was out the door. upon completion of the service, including the detailing, I was called to schedule a pick up. It was arranged and the pick up was very efficient; and the car looked absolutely outstanding due to the detailing. Taylor Williams has been my service agent previously and previous experiences and this experience simply leaves me with an attitude that this is place I will do business in the future, including considering another car once my wife's current lease of another vehicle expires. I hope Taylor Williams is recognized as a huge asset to Mercedes Benz of Sarasota.

  • Very poor communication, disappointing

    Unfortunately not what I expected as a new Mercedes Benz customer: I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from this dealership at the end of October - within 24 hours of purchase the check engine light had come on and the vehicle was not operating properly. I contacted my salesperson about the issues and he arranged for it to be assessed by Service. I promptly brought the car in and was greeted by a service liaison. I expected to hear at least an update the following day but to my disappointment I was never contacted by a member of service or by my assigned service liaison, despite multiple attempts to reach them. It took a total of 5 days to return the car to me, and at no point in those 5 days did a member of service phone me with an update. I don’t believe the car would have even been looked at had I not expressly written several emails and made numerous phone calls inquiring about the status of my 1 day old CPO vehicle. The lack of communication from the service dept at Mercedes Benz of Sarasota left me feeling uneasy & gave me a severe lack of confidence, my worst fear is that I may have chosen the wrong dealership and also the wrong vehicle. I have sent several messages up the chain regarding my experiences & the circumstances - and still have not heard a reply, almost 2 weeks later. I am very disappointed.
