He answered our questions. He was forthright in the negotiations. There was zero pressure. He… communicated just enough, but not too much. He took care of every detail. In the end, it was Sales Manager Wade W. who approved the lowest price of the five dealers we visited. That is why we purchased the car from Hyundai of St Augustine and not from Jacksonville's Key Hyundai, not from Hyundai of Orange Park, not from Jacksonville's Westside Hyundai, and not from Headquarter Hyundai of Sanford. - After visiting these five Hyundai dealers, I chose Hyundai of St Augustine and would recommend them to a friend.Awesome

St Augustine Hyundai was highly reccomended. Well to say the least our experience with them… "awesome". First, Paul greeted us and not with an overwhelming pushyness, he made us feel comfortable. We explained to him what we were looking for and our financial situation. He never gave us the feeling that because of our situation nothing could be done. Only because we were at the dealership late in the evening did we have to wait until the next day to have all the paper work done. Bright and early the next morning did we receive the call from Paul, he said I have great news for you. Our new 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Nothing else to say only that Paul went above and beyond we are very happy with our new car and the friendship that we have made with the St Augustine Hyundai Family.Proud owner of new Hyundai!

They listened and tried to satisfy my needs and wants in purchasing a new car, not just want they wanted most to… sell. In addition, they were really knowledgable about their products and didn't mind explaining what I didn't know. They followed up with anything about which I asked them. Although they were not "hard sell" and did not camp on my doorstep, just nice, friendly, informative, patient sales people, the kind with whom you want to remain friends and continue to do business. I would certainly recommend Hyundai of St. Augustine to my friends.My Best Car buying experience ever!

It was the 2nd best car buying experience I have ever had. The best car buying experience I have ever had happen last night when I got a… 2012 Hyundai Sonata from Joey Cassata at Hyundai of St. Augustine. We ran the numbers over the phone, I filled out the credit app on their website and within 10 minutes of that, Joey called me back and told me the deal that they could do and the payment that I would have. I then drove 35 minutes to the dealership last night and arrived at 7.05pm and I was done and driving the car off the lot at exactly 8pm....55 minutes later! The figures we agreed to on the phone were exactly what they were in person when I showed up. If they continue providing this type of excellent service, then I will be a lifelong customer of Hyundai of St. Augustine!New 2013 Santa Fe

(on line) and Robert G. (at the store) and had the best experience I've ever had purchasing a… vehicle (including private sales!) I would also like to commend David M. for his superb organization and getting the paper work done with no muss or fuss and still kept the experience very pleasant. The team was wonderful and as a customer who is quick to to say no and walk out when given any 'sales jargin' I thought it important folks know what a great job the St. Augustine team is doing for Hyundai! Jack(finance) was easy to talk to and I felt had my best interest at… heart. Wade(manager) helped with a math error and fixed it immediately. He also spoke with my mother and I and told us why he likes his job so much. He says the dealership is like a family. I think that's great and in the future I will bring my business back there! Andrew, a very pleasant gentlemen conversing through email and over the phone, earned my trust instantly compared to all the other dealers I was haggling with. I wish he had the vehicle I was after, but after 2 months hunting for a blue turbo veloster without NAV I was reluctant to go with Univeral Hyundai who had the vehicle. Andrew made every effort to get that vehicle from Univeral Hyundai in Orlando. I wish I could've done business with Andrew and recommend anyone interested in Hyundai product to deal with him and save time haggling with all the others. St Augustine also delivers for free in Florida and will give the best price!! If I didnt want the car so bad I would not have purchased with Univeral Hyundai.Great experience!

After sending an inquiry about a vehicle, we got an email from Eddie Schupke.… Upon our arrival, Eddie greeted us and took us on a test drive. He was professional and knowledgeable, and answered our questions without making us feel pressured or stressed--which was a nice change from the dealership we'd recently left. He was also very friendly and patient as my wife changed her mind a few times... We highly recommend Hyundai of St. Augustine for their no-haggle sales style and we recommend our new friend, Eddie Schupke. We didn't find the exact car we wanted on the lot, but we'll be back and we'll refer our friends.2013 Elantra

Upon completing several hours of internet research, I decided that the Hyundai Elantra was the car for me. I was dreading the normal car shopping hassles; high pressure sales people and… street market haggling. A friend told me about how good his recent car buying experience was and suggested that I try Hyundai of St Augustine. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by a friendly salesman named Ron C. Ron was very courteous and professional. He took extra time searching their large inventory to find the exact vehicle I was looking for. Within minutes of test driving the car we arrived at a selling price; no high pressure and no street haggle! By far the absolute best car buying experience I have ever had.Husband Finally Gets it Right on Third Choice
by beachbob on 10/12/2012updated 06/03/2025Terrific new car for my wife! I had been in earlier in the week looking at Genesis and the new Santa Fe Sport. Both were very nice but my wife decide she was interested in a mid-sized sedan this time. And .... she LOVED the Irridescent Blue… Pearl color available on the Sonata. So, Shawn (who I had worked with earlier) located a Sonata with all the bells and whistles for her and a turbo for me in Tampa. It was at the St Augustine dealership that night and we took possesion the next morning. I hadn't seen in cash incentives during my research, but Shawn informed me a military (retired) discount was now available as well as a $1000 cash back with Hyundai financing (at less than my banks rate). So... we had a no hassle, low price through my banks buying service, a color that wasn't available locally and $1500 in cash incentives thanks to Shawn. Not a bad day!
