Predatory behavior towards women - Exercise Caution at Service Department
by TDutra on 06/23/2025Exercise Caution at Subaru of Pembroke Pines Service I'm writing this review to share a concerning experience at Subaru of Pembroke Pines' service department. Even as a long-time client where I bought a brand new car and a history of a… dozen services with them, I'm concerned about their practices. It appears there might be a practice of adding services to reach internal quotas, presenting optional maintenance as mandatory or part of the standard Subaru of America (SoA) maintenance schedule. This seems especially true for customers who may not fully understand their vehicle's service needs. I strongly advise all customers to thoroughly question and verify every service recommendation. Insist that the service team explicitly show and explain each suggested service, clearly differentiating between what is truly required and what is optional. Remember, you can easily check your car's maintenance schedule in your owner's manual or even through the MySubaru app. Cross-reference their recommendations with these resources. Be vigilant and avoid being pressured into unnecessary services. I particularly urge teenagers and women to be especially cautious and empowered to ask detailed questions, as they may be disproportionately targeted with these practices. It's crucial for consumers to be aware and protect themselves from being lured into paying for services they don't genuinely need.Exceptional Service

Joe walked me through the entire repair process and even had the tech come to his office so I could meet him. What other dealership does… that? To me that is real customer service, above and beyond. Pembroke Pines had THE best service we’ve encountered, and we’ve dealt with a few in multiple states. Thank you Joe! Thank you Tomas! I didn’t appreciate that I had to sit in the car for 20 minutes after the time of my appointment for an advisor to see me.Hi, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide.
