  • Incredible Experience

5 out of 5 starsby PattyHz on 05/03/2016

We actually visited the dealership only to test drive a vehicle. We had no intention of purchasing-since I was interested in a vehicle I have seen on craigslist but would need to wait a week to actually see the vehicle I was interested in. We were greeted by sales rep Devin Hunt, who had us laughing from the moment we met him. It felt like we were looking at cars with someone we had known for years and not someone we had met only seconds previously. They were so helpful and showed us how we could purchase a new vehicle for the same price that we had intended purchasing a used one. John Cruz work out some numbers for us and we were able to return the next day to finalize our purchase and take our new vehicle home! Dessiree Figueroa then took care of getting us prepped and on the road. Fantastic experience, outstanding followup from start finish.
  • Great service

I so happened to find my self in toyota of Orlando since, I wanted to trade my 2014 ford Mustang for a more family friendly car. I did not want to pay anything down or pay more than my current monthly payment on my mustang. I never knew that when I walked in to Toyota with not the best credit, but had been making my payments on time to my current car that I would be walking away with everything I asked for. Allen helped me pick out a car and explained all the features to the car ( great and friendly sells rep). Fred Robinson was an awesome finance rep and worked his magic to get me everything I asked for (amazing person that knows his job and does it well). Jacqueline Cruz was very friendly and helpful on explaining all the warranty and protection plans they offer (such a great attitude and very professional). I can definitely say I shopped around, but hands down Toyota had the best offer for me and my family! Such a great experience I definitely recommend TOYOTA OF ORLANDO to everyone . By the way I walked out with a brand new 2016 Camry. Thank you Toyota Of Orlando!
  • Absolutely Amazing!

I recently purchased a 2016 Corolla from Toyota of Orlando. I had the pleasure of working with Ricki (not sure of his last name) and Luis Beltre in sales. Both were professional, patient, diligent and made the process seamless. Nichole Peters was a delight. She had all of my paperwork prepared, was very efficient and had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend the team at Toyota of Orlando! They treated me with the utmost respect and made sure to follow up at least twice since I drove off the lot which is very hard to find in the sales industry. They will get all of my business from now on.
  • Super Happy with our Purchase!

5 out of 5 starsby themaggios on 01/19/2016

We had a wonderful experience. Even though some of the info we were given wasn't correct (we were told the only difference between the car we were driving away in and the one we test drove was the sunroof and the seat warmers when in fact...keyless ignition, front passenger automatic seats, plus seat warmers and the sunroof. Lexi Giannini was superb. She was professional, polite, personable and came off very organized and accurate. This is the only dealership in Orlando we will use. Love everyone here.

I recently bought a car here and couldn't have gone any smoother. Nestor showed us around and he showed us multiple cars that fit our needs. Fred and Kyle worked with us on our credit situation and got us approved with a good rate. Nichole Peters made the paperwork very quick and explained it all very well.

  • They pulled my crdit report without permission

    1 out of 5 starsby KYRA241 on 01/15/2016

I always have a preapproval from my credit union before shopping for a car. I explained to the sales manager that my rate was 2.25% and I did not want to compare any of their bank rates. Without my consent they pulled my credit report. The more frequently your report is pulled can reduce your score.
  • Overall Great Experience!

My wife and I visited Toyota of Orlando to look around and see what deal we can find. We find a car we want and would like to work for and Joe was the associate that took us in to help us get around and look at what we wanted. He was extremely nice, polite and did not pressure us at all. I can say we made a friend that day. Andre the Sales person we dealt with was good, had to hassle him a bit, but we ended up with what we wanted. We finished off our experience with the lovely Nichole Peters, which was as sweet as candy and best of all laughed at all my jokes. She was wonderful and really made the end process a pleasurable one. Thank you Toyota of Orlando for helping my family have the car we will drive around in for a long time.
  • 77 year old lady cheated by this dealership!

    1 out of 5 starsby film5947 on 12/28/2015

My mother, a gentle 77 years old retired nurse and school teacher went to Toyota of Orlando to buy a car with me and her autistic son. She was pre-approved from her bank with low interest rate. I helped her to get the approval from the bank. The bank said to go down and pick out the car you want. My mother picks out a silver Toyota Camry that was Pre-Owned $15,995. She came back in with her pre-approval packet from the bank. The product specialist who was very nice sat us down to meet a sales person named Paul. This is where everything went down hill. We gave him the paperwork from the bank, but he disregards and hands us credit an authorization form. My mother and I told him that we are already was preapproved from our bank. He said, “A preapproval doesn’t really mean anything. All it is stating is that you can get a car. We still have to check your credit and make sure you are credit worthy to obtain the car.” My mother at first said, “no, she’s not going to sign anything because she is preapproved.” He says, “OK” he writes on the preapproval number on a small sheet paper, but still does not pick up the packet. He leaves and doesn’t come back for about 45 minutes. Then he takes all the income verification that we came with, told us he still working out the details and we might have another bank that can give us a better rate, and went back into the financing office. My mother and I were confused because were already preapproved through our bank. When Paul came back, he told us that we were approved through Santander USA Bank. We said we were already approved through our bank already. He said “no, not at that interest-rate and not for that car you picked out. You need a car different and brand car, because we can use the rebates to bring down the price of the car. It is the only way the bank or banks will take you on.” I told him that doesn’t make any sense. Why would a bank approve us and then deny us when we are at the dealership. He said, “Unfortunately banks do that a lot. That is why we are here to help you guys out; we will make sure you get a car. We work for so many banks that we can get most people approved.” My mother told me to go pick up her younger brother. When I left my mother, she told me that the salesperson told her to sign the credit authorization form so they can move onto the financing part of the loan. Thus, my mother did so not understanding the ramifications. When I was gone they moved her into the financing room. The salesperson and a finance person told her that this is the only bank that’s going to approve her for the loan, and there will be no other bank that will get her into a car. Reluctantly, confused, and under pressure from them she signed all the paperwork. When I walked back into the dealership with her brother she said, “all the paperwork is already signed.” I was shocked and dismayed that she already finished. Secondly, instead of the car she wanted, the silver Toyota Camry, they put her in a black base model Toyota Corolla for $5000 more, making the financing loan to $20,100. Her payment from originally $309 a month at a much lower interest rate went up to $435 a month at much higher interest rate. This is terrible for a person on a limited income with the autistic son. The sad thing is that her autistic son was with her buying the vehicle and they still cheated her just for sale. Frustrated we came home with the car. Around 6:30 PM my mother was upset and decided to change her mind. She came back to the dealership and want to give back the car. She said I can’t afford this and this is not the car I wanted. The sales person said, “The sale is final, thank you for your business, and have a great day.” Paul the sales person said 3 times to my mother. My mother wanted to speak to the general manager and he said he was busy and can’t talk to you right now. Then we said we will wait and we waited about an hour. Then we asked for the general manager again. He said GM already left for the day. We then gave up. 9am in the morning the next day my mother’s bank called her. The banker asked her why she has not picked up the car yet. She said she already did but you guys did not approve her, and this is what the dealer told her. The Dealer got her approved by another bank. The bank person on the phone was very confused and upset because she told my mother that she was very much approved. 100% approved! The banker asked my mother to drive back to the dealership and ask them to change the loan back to their preapproval one. We went back, however; we lost that battle horribly. The supervisor of finance told us that we already signed the loan and it’s final! If we did not want that loan we should have never sign that paperwork. It’s nothing to be done here, thank you for your business and have a great day! My mother was crying asking to speak to a manager. He said that the manager is busy and there’s nothing he can do anyways, the sale is final. He opened up the paperwork to show us that all sales once you sign it is final in the state of Florida. Now my mother is stuck with the loan and with a car she doesn’t want.

  • Excellent Customer Service!

My boyfriend and I went to the Toyota of Orlando dealership to trade in my car. Not only were we able to trade in my car, but we were also able to purchase a new car for my boyfriend. Alton was very helpful with finding us the right vehicles that fit our needs and budget. Tom was very professional with the sales for both our vehicles. Ending the last of our sales, Manuel Claudio was our last stop for the final paperwork and he was quick and efficient. Thank you for all your help during this easy process. We will definitely be back for future purchases with Toyota of Orlando!

I went in person and Kevin tried to rip me off. I went to trade in me car with a little negative equity and he said $435 over 75 months was a good deal on a corolla. I looked them right in eye and he said with an honest face, this is a great deal, that guy is a habbital [violative content deleted] dont trust them. He said it was the best price. I walked out, they pulled me back in to take the sheet of paper with the numbers away from me. Next morning, they offer $380 a month at 72 months. They dropped the price $4000 in one day. I was very honest with them, and they were not with me. I bought the same car at the other Toyota dealer on semoran for $365 month.
  • Toyota Scion of Orlando I do not trust

    1.4 out of 5 starsby mulberry58 on 05/13/2009

I went in to turn in my leased 2006 Toyota Highlander with 30,000 miles , well below the 48,000 miles I can go on my lease. I went to buy a new Scion XB , the salesman who went with me for the test drive was okay. When I went in to make the purchase the Mangar spoke to me and told me that they would add on the balance of the payments to my new purchase which was okay by me. He asked me how much am I putting down on the car I said $1500 and gave hime my card. When I went over to the finace section I was give alot of papers to sign . I was never told that they were treating the turn in as a trade in , since I did not own the car how could I do a trade in? What they did was to assign a low trade in value to my Highlander as a trade in took my $1500 and added it to the so called "trade in " which I never knew about or able to negotiate. It was around 10:00 pm at night after work when I did the paperwork and so did not understand all that was on the sales contract. I trusted them that they had credited the new car with the $1500. When I spoke to the manger Bob he told me that" I should not rely on what is said only on what is on the paper work". So NEVER EVER TRUST ANYONE AT TOYOTA OF ORLANDO 'S WORD.". Bob used fancy words to get out of what I told him was a deception. I told him since the title to the highlander was never in my name how could it be a trade in ?They need to refund me my $1500. Bob was very rude on the phone. I will never service my car or my mom' car there. When I had my Highlander I spent an average $600 on maintenace every 3 months. Guess it is worth it for them in this time when buyers are few to lose customers such as me.
    • Why would u make the balance of payments and turn the car in? You may not know much about maintenance if u spent $600 every 3 months. Dealers love customers like u.

    • It appears that someone casual like you would benefit by taking a friend along to buy a car.

I went into this dealership to look into buying an 09 Camry. I am a 30 year old, professional, college graduate and I also happen to be a woman. I felt confident going alone having bought 3 new cars in the past on my own. The first associate who showed me the car was very helpful and seemed to spend time explaining the car and answering my questions. I test drove the car and loved it! However once I went inside and was introduced to the "sales specialist" things did not go as well. He was condescending and rude and spoke to me as though I had no understanding of buying cars or anything else for that matter. He said to me, and I quote "You're a teacher so you appreciate education right? Well let me educate you."!!!! I couldn't believe it. He then went on into a long spiel about the three ways to buy a car...by the end I realized he wasn't selling me the car, he was selling me on leasing the car. He then handed me my "price guarantee" page and sent me out the door without ever giving me an idea of monthly payments or any other information that could have sold me on buying or leasing the car. I left there feeling embarressed, hurt and angry. I am still interested in the car, but no longer interested in this dealership.
  • BAIT & SWITCH

1.5 out of 5 starsby saturncebu on 11/03/2007

Called the dealership on specific car with VIN#. Jesus guy called back to say it is available at $23,999 and come in the dealership to complete the transaction. Arrived at dealership next day finding the price of the car is now $1K more (cashback already included in the price). Deny, deny, deny that I ever called and they quoted the previous price. Negotiated the price which went fine until they claim they will not accept own financing payment using bank draft, then this Kyle guy baits you into signing their own financing and claiming it is required by Patriot Act. Asked him to name the verbiage of the Act why I have to give SS# since I am not financing with them, guess what he can't find any. His goal was to bait and switch you to their financing all along. Told him he is abusing the Patriot Act and lying. Will never do business with this place. White shirt sales guy who accompanied me on test drive was very knowledgeable and friendly though. Their catch phrase of UNBELIEVABLE is true. DO NOT BELIEVE IT.
