    I went to the Hyundai of Ocala dealership on April 17,2013 to speak with Carl & Nina. I just have to thank them for the No Hassle experience I had purchasing my new Elantra. Nina & Carl G. are an Awesome team, I highly recommend anyone shopping for a new or used car to stop in and chat with them. Kudos to Ryan B. for introducing me to Carl & Nina G. Family : )

    Jenkins emailed to me a coupon for a FREE $25 Prepaid MasterCard just for visiting the dealership and talking to a salesman about a car. I visited Jenkins, drove their Sonata model and gave my $25 coupon to the salesman, Ed M., who promised to submit it to the manager. I was told I'd receive an email confirmation in a few days. They did not have a car in the colors I wanted, so did not buy a car there. However, they promise that no purchase is necessary to receive the offer. They've failed to send me the promised card and my emails to them now go unanswered. Watch out what they promise you!

    The previous car I bought was from Carmax simply because i hate the degrading procedure of being jacked around by car salesman who seem to think they can manipulate all things their way. This did not happen at Jenkins of Ocala, I happened to be approached by a salesman that was new and had not yet sold a car. He was pleasant and respectful, won me over right away. He showed me what I wanted to see and answered questions best he could getting the answers for questions he did not have. We entered into the negotiating process, of course this required a person higher on the ladder to attempt to increase my offer. I was firm in what I felt was a fair deal that I could accept and this individual recognized it quickly without going through the long drawn out process of running back and forth to yet another higher up which would have done nothing but aggravate me into leaving. Since buying the car I have been very impressed with the follow up of the young new salesman named Phil that I dealt with, he has called me several times to make sure I am still happy and see if there were any problems he could work out, there were none. He asked my wife and I to participate in a new car seminar put on by Jenkins Hyundai for the express purpose of getting to know the dealership services and answering any further questions we may have about the car we purchased earlier. We did attend and it was informative, well worth our time attending, they also served us a catered lunch which was nice. If all dealerships treated their customers like Jenkins Hyundai does, it would go a long way toward the negative feelings toward car dealers. They are AAA plus as far as I am concerned.

    My experience working with David L. was excellent! He was helpful, knowledgeable, patient and I felt like he really listened to what I needed. There was no "haggling" as I've experienced in the past with car dealerships--he simply listened and was able to put me in a vehicle that I both loved and will be able to comfortably afford! Shannon was a huge help as well as she had sent me a very detailed email which contained all of the items that I would need. Both David and Shannon did everything they could to assist in getting me out the door quickly. This is our third purchase from Jenkins Hyundai and I plan on letting all of my friends and family know about your excellent service. Both he and Shannon should be commended on a job well done. My husband and I are now three-fold satisfied customers! Lori Gauntt
