onAll in all, pretty easy experience. Omar was very nice, and mostly quick to respond to questions. The transfer of money, title, license plates and vehicle was straight forward and as expected. Only thing that they forgot was putting the corer guards on the doors, not that I care for that, but if I ask, I think Omar would ship it to me. I did all that from Tampa and picked up the EV in Jacksonville. As requested, the car was fully charged and no problems driving back. Only reason I don’t give five stars is because the tech guy must have messed up one fastener for the cargo netting and left a mark on the ceiling, both I quickly fixed.

onHad service done in my radiator, flushed out old Antifreeze and added new antifreeze. It wasn’t until Monday did my wife notice a leak only reason I noticed it was the garage was empty and I noticed 2 leaks one was from the air conditioner and other was red film or silky fluid. I notice when the my wife returned where the leak was coming from. It was the plug on the bottom on the radiator where old antifreeze was flushed. Next next day I was at the service dealership at 730 am. Met with Riian told him was was going on. He noticed the leak too and he would take of it. The plug was either striped or not re installed properly. Here is where I was unhappy with service dept. I took my car in at 730 am. Why was my car a top priority?? Simple fix should have been in and out no more than 2 more max since it was the dealership service tech that didn’t re install the plug correctly. Instead I didn’t get my car until 2 pm. I checked up on my car at 1245 and my car was still not ready. So I went to lunch didn’t return until 2 and Riian told me my car was ready. I wasted a whole day because my radiator plug not installed properly. I had to take a day off without pay to get my car fixed. Only reason was because my wife had to be at her second job at 5. So I had to make sure her car would be ready. When it was the your technician fault my car should have been a top priority since I already paid $575.00 for the service five days ago. Even when I have an appointment I am usually there 3 to 4 hours for an oil change. Totally unsatisfactory on customer service.

onMy appointment was at 8am on a Saturday, I was a little early but once the doors opened the service was good. I stayed while the work was being done, in comfortable chairs with coffee that was available while I waited. The staff was professional and took good care of me.

onI purchased a new 2022 Chevy Tahoe. The entire process exceeded my expectations. My salesman, Carey Watkins, made sure my new Tahoe fit my needs and that I was comfortable with all new "tech." Dustin, the financial manager made the financing painless and quick. The General Manager made it point to introduce himself and provide me with his card should I ever have any questions. Battery "good" then died in a few hours

onThe vehicle was supposed to be inspected and recommendations provided for maintaining the vehicle. They tried to up-sell a bunch of nonsense, meanwhile they marked the battery as "good" and the battery subsequently died a few hours later, leaving my husband stranded. I now suspect that they didn't do an inspection and find their inspection results unreliable. This is not what I expect from "chevrolet certified maintenance".

onI scheduled an appointment for a oil change and tire rotation. I showed up 15 minutes early for my scheduled time and was told it would be about a 2 HOUR wait. How is there a 2 HOUR wait for a scheduled appointment? So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. Well 2 HOURS and 45 MINUTES later my truck was ready!

onThe salesman I worked with, Robert Thompson, did a good job and was very friendly and kept me informed all through the sales process. The business manager, I don't recall his name, was great to work with and fully explained everything as we went through the sales documents. I still have questions about the 'Coggin Cheverolet Protection Package' I was charged $999 for a window tint that I found came from the factory as standard equipment, wheel locks and a paint coating. All in all I was satisfied with the purchase process.

Bad service

onThe experience was great right up to signing for the vehicle purchase then the run-around began. The dealership stated they would take care of minor issues with the car before the purchase was made. The rim was scraped, the tire had sidewall damage and there were two areas where the paint was chipped. This car sold as new and I expected the car delivered as such. They asked me to return (13-mile drive) the following week on Wednesday (02/01/17) so they could take care of the issues and set an appointment. First day I returned they just glanced at it then said that the guy who works on rims was not actually there that day so they asked me to return in a week. I was told the rim guy was only there on Wednesdays, just not this particular Wednesday. I was also told the sidewall damage to the tire was fine by the service department attendant Mike. I stated the tire should not have any damage as the car sold as new. So I returned the following week on Tuesday (02/07/17) to get the issues fixed on the following day when the guy who works on the rims was going to be there. I was sent to Enterprise for a car rental instead of setting me up with a rental/demonstrator car from the dealership. The rental car from Enterprise had a musty smell every time I got in. I just wanted the car fixed so just dealt with the inconvenience. I got a call on Wednesday afternoon (02/08/17) that the rim was done and the car was ready to get picked up. I asked Mike over the phone if they took care of the tire (sidewall damage) and chipped paint as well. Mike then said he would have to check with his manager about replacing the tire. Mike also stated to me that the paint guy was out of town and would return until next week for the chipped paint. So I was called and told to keep the car rental for another day since they were going to change the tire after all. I turned in the rental and returned to the dealership on Thursday (02/09/17) to pick up the car after the rim/tire work they did. The tire was replaced. The rim was just ground down where it was scraped leaving the surface uneven. The rim also had scratched in the center that the rim did not have there before. Looked like the scratches were from how they set up the rim in order to grind it. The car also had some oil finger prints on the paint that were not cleaned off whatsoever. The service department manager and Mike came out and look at the rim then said they would have to replace the rim but they needed the general manager to approve. Mike told me I would get a call on Friday (02/10/17) regarding the rim. I got a call until Monday (02/13/17) from Mike and stated that the rim was ordered that day. Mike called me on Tuesday (02/14/17) (Valentine's day) that they had the rim and asked if I could just come in then. I told Mike I could not, I was out on a date. I returned on Wednesday (02/15/17) Waited about two hours to get the rim replaced and the paint touched up. Finally, the rim was replaced and the paint touched up. The paint touch-up was not done well, there was still a groove left. I told the service department nothing else about the paint since I wanted the whole ordeal to end. They could have topped off the fuel since I drove there and back three times but they didn't. Three weeks from beginning to end and 78 miles more on the car, I was happy not to have to deal with the service department again. I would not recommend getting any vehicle serviced at the Avenues Chevrolet dealership.

Mistake

onThings went from being a really good experience to being a pretty bad one. Just one week after purchasing the car I had a flat tire and they told me that it came from normal 'wear and tear' and they expected for me to pay for repairs. I didn't expect the dealership to sell me the car with used worn out tires on it. The way they sold me the vehicle was as if it was practically new. Now I have to be concerned about what else is going to break in the near future because of the cars use as a loaner car. You think the dealership would have to courtesy to at least change the oil on the vehicle before they sold it. Doubt they did that either. And that 'Full' tank of gas they kept saying they gave me was actually 3/4 of a tank of gas. Full means FULL. Not almost full. I'm starting to regret the whole thing and wish I had chosen a different dealership. I DEFINITELY wont be recommending this location to any of my family or friends. I just don't feel like this is a dealership I could trust.
