Honest and courteous service
by E F MacKrell on 08/21/2024I brought my RAV-4 in for a routine 5000 mile service, and asked the service rep to check on a few other things as well. My service rep, Paul Leonard, was highly professional and courteous. He looked into my vehicle's history and found a… couple of things that should be updated or fixed, and recommended I add them to the service. He also checked into a light that I had noticed fogging up, and told me it was not really worth the cost to repair it, as it still functioned fine and the repair would be time-consuming and costly. I sincerely appreciate his honesty. The service was completed expeditiously and Paul kept me advised of its progress throughout the process. Everything is broken down and put in writing. No pressure sales technique. Just an employee going out… of his way to make sure his client was well informed & if all questions were answered. Excellent Service Overall - Excellent
by Charles Scott on 03/22/2024Finally decided to buy a new vehicle, but wanted just the "Right" vehicle, a 2024 4Runner TDR Off-Road Premium. Searched many dealers across multiple States as far as Idaho to find the right vehicle with the options I wanted. Some… vehicles had options I did not want, while others had some of the "must have" but not all options. This search took me several weeks. I contacted several dealers and all said they could get me the right vehicle, but when the talks got serious, they could not deliver either because they did not want to spend the time, were too busy, or other excuses. During my early search, I had contacted Village Toyota of Homosassa, but at the time they did not have the right vehicle so I went on with my search. Finally after several weeks, I came to the realization that if I wanted the right vehicle I had to try and find a dealer that could order one for me and work with the Toyota "Allocation" system to find just the right vehicle. Enter Village Toyota. I contacted them and was put in touch with Mr. John Harke. I went to talk with John and he was pretty positive that he could order a vehicle from Toyota, a vehicle was found so we struck a deal, with the caveat that I would have to wait about a month to take delivery of the 4Runner. Finally the vehicle came in (a few days earlier than initially promised) and I took possession. The moral of the story is that if I would have made more of an effort to talk with Village Toyota in the first place, I would have saved weeks of frustration and wasted time searching for my vehicle. John Harke worked to find the vehicle I wanted, was apprehensive of what I wanted, and was willing to work with the customer to make sure the customer got what he wanted. John kept me informed as to the build of the vehicle and worked with me on some other unrelated issues. John was easy to talk to and listened to my concerns. When the 4Runner came in, the purchasing and taking possession process was "Painless". When I told the Finance Manager what I wanted or not wanted, he listened and did not try to sell other non-essential item, he listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and was very easy to talk to. Here was another Village Toyota employee that listened. During the whole process at Village Toyota, no pushy tactics were used, I saw the General Sales Manager a couple of times during the process and it was always a pleasant encounter where he took the time to explain questions I might have. Overall, I was very impressed with the Village Toyota culture and their sales approach. I was specially impressed with John Harke and thank him for working with me to put me in the "Right" vehicle. I've had the vehicle for about 10 days now and love, just love my new TRD Off-Road. So....... if you are looking for a new Toyota or other vehicle, take a look at Village Toyota. They are a no-nonsense dealer that wants to work to earn your business, understand the term "Customer", and they treat you with respect.
