by Sandkey on 05/15/2025Prior to this current service, I have had good experiences at AutoNation. For this particular services I needed transmission work, new tires, and a full detail. When I arrived to pick up my car, it was soaked from dew and rain, apparently… being left outside over night following the detail service. When I posted it out to the Service Department, they immediately cleaned the car and issued a credit for the detail work. In a rush
by Jefferson on 11/09/2023I'm very dissatisfied with no attention to detail that the service tech have, I recommend that each car has a bin and anything that comes off that car goes into that bin each and every time. First my valve caps, next I was charged for tire… rotation that was never done next would've been my rim key had I not noticed. I mean come on you've got to do better, the excuse from service was oh they are kids. That's unacceptable and very disappointing, they have jobs in an adult setting they need to do better. Next how can I be charged for a service that was never done weeks ago and someone not open their mouth and say anything, had I not noticed my tire was in the same spot and questioned it then no one would've said anything. It's very deceitful and now I have a lack of trust so now I'm questioning everything. Yes, the difference came off my new tire and yes the tires were rotated for free but do you really think that totally satisfied me? My trust is gone and now my guard is up. POLITE AND INFORMATIVE

The Service reps in Clearwater breed a calm sense of professionalism that makes the customers, like me, confident that… they are sincerely interested in getting our cars and ourselves back on the road. No high-pressure tactics to get more work done that is not required, just a well thought out schedule of things to look for in the future. Faulty mirror
by Mikekl55 on 10/25/2023As of today my Silverado 2500 has been back to service three times for the passenger side mirror not retracting properly. Tomorrow I’m dropping it off for the fourth time. Also, the last time the truck was there it was returned with a dent… on the driver’s door. Unacceptable Service
by Corey T. on 10/03/2023I took my car there because my AC wasn't working properly. The first time I took it there, they had it for 5 days and charged me $1300. I drove home and the AC still wasn't fixed. I took it back, they charged me another $1500 and kept my… car for 8 days. I drove it home, the AC was still not working. I'm not taking it back to them. They've already gotten $2800 out of me. I don't know what the mechanics are doing back there, but I assume they are just guessing and have no clue. Nice Employees- Service Took Weeks to Complete
by lishmclaws on 09/28/2023The people were very nice to work with but my car went almost a month without completing the service. They started and then didn't complete. I began calling other service departments to have my car towed elsewhere at one point. I had to… work out two rentals and one loaner car during that time. I had call at least 25 times over the weeks and then in the 4th week I asked for someone higher up before the car was put on the line to get done. I am not sure if it was lack of technicians or poorly run business but it was pretty frustrating.Hi, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at Autonation Chevrolet South Clearwater. I suppose it’s not surprising I thought the cost was too high, but I prefer to have the dealer to the work, and that’s the price I have to pay. In addition, I… found the automated phone system annoying. It was impossible to get through to anyone. Oil change

A oil change and tire rotation should be done a lot faster. 2 1/2 hours with an appointment is unreasonable. by Mikekl55 on 09/13/2023When I called to make an appointment I explained that the passenger mirror on my 2024 Silverado 2500 wouldn’t fold properly. The person I spoke to then asked me if I was calling about my 2022 Lexus RC350. I again clearly stated what vehicle… and the reason and was asked if it was a 1500. After finally getting an appointment I explained that I couldn’t leave the truck overnight (dropped off at 7am), I was told, “no problem.” Jeremy Blackburn was very polite but called to tell me that they needed the truck for 48 hours. I realize that this is not his fault but my question is this- why bother with appointments if the vehicle is just going to sit for a couple of days for a simple fix. Called to bring in car for new parts
by Paw-Paw on 08/18/2023Got a call on Aug 15th saying the parts for my car were in. I told lady that I thought everything was completed back in May (Inv# 748636). She said she would call me back after checking with someone. She called back and said yes I need to… bring the car in. I dropped the car off on Aug 16th 10:30. Service Dept said they would call me back in a few hours with status. No Call. Got msg at 7:25 on the 17th that the car was ready. They sent a Lyft driver to pick me up. Got there about 9:30 and got the car. When I got home, I looked over the invoice (#751171). Line-item stated repairs completed prior to 5 25 23. Tech confirmed the parts were new! Sent msg to Service Dept with my concerns - that the work had been completed in May as I assumed (otherwise I would have been told parts were on back order). Got msg back saying 'Yes looks as though there was a miss communication from parts technician reviewed all parts installed associated with the ABS and all parts are new correct this however required the technician's inspection.' Over priced
by imcoffman on 07/25/2023My oil change was so outrageously over priced! I asked for a check of my auto shut off, which hasn’t worked since last time auto nation changed my oil. He always has my best interest and safety first. Explained everything… about the recall in detail including a found issue with the oil pan. Priced it all out, finding me a few savings along the way. THANK YOU. Because the oil pan job would take most of the day I opted to bring my car back. They had a courtesy car ready for me and picked me up when all was done. Check out was quick; In and out in 15 mins. Car runs great and price was really nice; as were all the folks over there at South Clearwater dealership.
