by Enceman on 02/09/2016This is the 5th vehicle I have bought outside my home state. When you get a quote and you are 250 miles from the dealer, they sometimes don't treat you seriously. Not in this case. They gave me the best price upfront and I bought it. I… don't like to haggle and I think I'm not alone? After talking to several dealers, they all gave a price but not the best. They wanted me to come in and test drive, or talk to the manager. I don't have time for all that. I knew what I wanted. Well then I spoke to Rich. He gave me every possible rebate and a no hassle price. Rich knows the product and knows vehicles. Did I mention he had it detailed off site! If I ever want their product again, I know where I'm getting it. Executive Dodge. Thanks again Rich for all your help.AMAZING

Steve Tannock, Christopher Rogalin, and Sales Consultant Nick Mackay. I first dealt with Steve through emails and on the phone several… times. Steve is a true professional and a gentleman. Very polite courteous and accommodating. My sales consultant Nick made my purchase pleasant he was very knowledgeable helpful also a gentleman very professional and answered all my questions. Christopher was also very accommodating very pleasant to finalize my deal with. He was very respectful very professional and also very accommodating. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. I have bought several cars throughout my driving lifetime and this dealership by far was the most pleasant friendliest courteous and accommodating that I've ever made a purchase with. Bravo executive Dodge Jeep for employing these three men. They are an asset to your business. I bought my vehicle solely because of the way I was treated. The experience was far better than past experiences buying cars and even dealing with other Jeep dealers during this purchase experience. The team is very honest and gets… right to the bottom line. They gave me their best price on the vehicle I was looking at right upfront to avoid needing any negotiation later. Sales rep stays on top of the customer experience and follows up on e-mails and phone calls promptly. They also provide key information over the phone and email to me without making me drive in to the dealership for every conversation (which I experienced with other dealers). I had my whole family with me on the day I was looking at and test driving vehicles, and the team even made sure my 6 year old had a great experience as he got to "drive" the cars on the showroom floor and use a sales office to color and read for a while. The whole team ensures they meet you up front including the General Manager to ensure your experience is positive and all your questions are answered. The Finance Manager worked with me to ensure I was making the right choices on financing and did not miss out on any rebates available to me. Executive has a lot of their own offerings on top of Jeep like a lifetime powertrain guarantee which top off the deal. Their sales team is salary based with bonuses based on customer feedback (not sales commission) so they are focused on you not the price of the car you buy. In the end of the day, I bought a different Grand Cherokee than I went into buy but I truly feel it was the right one for me after the help of the team. I have three Jeep dealerships closer to my home than Executive (two of which I purchased from in the past) and I will always make the time to go straight to Executive for future purchases.Great deal!

by mouse23 on 12/29/2014Just purchased our third dodge minivan. We have been working with this dealership for 20 years including the service department. Vinny made the experience excellent and spent a great deal of time going over the options with us. I just wish… he knew that our cell phone would not work with the car which is not compatable with the vehicle. now we must purchase a new cell phone. As for David I was not very happy with him. Please get everything in writing when you are purchasing a car. He was not totally honest with me as to the sale. Every deal makes money on a car no matter what they say. They should always give some type of a thank you gift for the purchase even if it is a free oil change just to welcome you to the service department. overall it was a great experience.The dealer did NOT honor all committments. I did speak to Tom Gallant but he must remember there are two sides to every story. Customer service should be #1 in his book.

I was looking for a new SUV and test drove both the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the new Jeep Cherokee. Thanks to your excellent, knowledgeable sales… person, Vinny, I made the right choice and purchased a Jeep Cherokee. The process was both seamless and low pressure and Vinny and Dave worked hard to give me the very best deal without all the back and forth haggling. They are probably one of the few dealers in CT to make it out of the stone ages! Happy With Sales Experience

The sales person was courteous, reasonable and low-key, and worked out a good competitive price with me, and the dealership… delivered the car in well-maintained tip-top shape. The dealership may have been a little aggressive in urging extended warranties, but discussions after the purchase reassured me that I got what I needed. Finally, this dealership promises a strong emphasis on customer service. I received a customer satisfaction survey right from the start and follow up calls to see how happy I was with my purchase. I am new to this dealership, but signs are very good that its service department is going support me vigorously in the future to keep my Spectra in good working order.Worst Dealership Ever
by justingage on 05/06/2009Please I beg you, do not buy a car from this place. I bought a Certified 2006 Jeep Commander Limited from them in February 2009 and it has been a nightmare ever since. They seem great up front but as soon as the deal was done it went all… down hill from there. We agreed to buy the car but had some concerns and they assured us that they could take care of them. There were some scratches on the car that we wanted someone to try to buff out and a large scratch on the rear bumper that was very visible. It took bringing the car back to the dealership 4 different times to get this completely resolved, and I live more than an hour from where they are located. On top of that, as part of the Jeep Certified program, they are supposed to include two keys. Well they did include two keys but one of them was broken off at the part that attaches to a keychain. I brought this up to them and they said they could do nothing about it. After asking 4 more times, they finally said, well maybe we can fix it, let's give it to parts and see what they can do. Three months later after still not receiving the key and being assured over and over again that it had been mailed out, I wanted to know what they were going to do about it. They said "Nothing" and that they were not "required by law to provide a second key." UNBELIEVABLE. Finally, from the very beginning I noticed that the front brakes squeaked considerably and I brought that up as well. They had the service department look at it one of the multiple times I brought it back and said that everything looked fine, they "reset" the brakes and it was fixed. Well it wasn't fixed, and the next time I brought it in to my local Jeep dealership for regular service, I asked them to look at it. They said if they had sold me the car, they'd replace them at no charge. So I went back to Executive Jeep and told them I wanted it fixed. For once they actually agreed to do something, but of course only after having driven the car for three months with squealing brakes. I hope no one else has to go through the amount of frustration and anger that I went through with these complete [violative content deleted]. Once again, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EXECUTIVE JEEP DODGE OF WALLINGFORD.New Jeep

Granted, there wasn't much room for negotiation, but the price was already much lower than any competitor's, and the… salespeople I dealt with were friendly and knowledgeable; there was no pressure to buy at all. The buying process was quick and easy, and when I went to pick up the vehicle the next day it had been detailed inside and out, and the gas tank was full!! From the moment I called Dave A., GSM, to our test drive with Stephen B., to the finance discussions with Chris R., I can't say enough great things about them all. We live… over an hour away from Executive Dodge Jeep, but we would reccommend anyone to visit if they are serious about leasing or owning a new vehicle. They made us feel comfortable, they were not pushing us to purchase, make any decisions right there, or steer us towards what they "thought" would be the vehicle for us. Instead they took a very friendly and welcoming approach, and that is something you do NOT usually get when trying to purchase a new car. An Honest Dealership
by lisa448 on 07/29/2011updated 05/05/2025My husband and I have been shopping for a truck for approximately one month and were looking for either a used Ford or a used Silverado. This is what led us to the Executive Dodge dealership. They had a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500. When I… called I spoke to Steve and explained that I wanted to look at it because it had a crew cab, low miles, but I was most concerned about the towing capacity because we tow a 7100 lb. 29 foot 2010 camper and would like to have maximum towing capacity of at least 8000 lb. When I arrived at the dealership the truck was conveniently parked out front and running since it was a hot 100 degree day. I met Nick who was polite and started to take my information, but since I really wanted to know the towing information, I stopped him because the truck was dependent on this. He quickly went to Ryan, the used car manager, who had Chevy experience and researched it. He explained why this would not be a good choice for me due to the towing limitations. I have to say I was quite disappointed because the truck was beautiful, but I truly appreciate his honesty because he could have sold me this truck and I would have had problems with it because it would not have been able to do what I wanted it to do. Both men were courteous and extremely helpful. They located another truck; a Dodge Ram. We made an appointment to see this truck. Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations...there was too much body work that needed to be fixed, but Nick said he would keep in contact with us. I would highly recommend this dealership to others. Thank you.
