MODERN MAZDA makes it easy

I appreciate the outstanding customer service I received during my recent purchase of a 2025 Mazda CX-30 today. My sales consultant was Steve Duffy, his professionalism and personable nature, in an industry where high-pressure tactics can be common, was a refreshing exception. He was patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions and allowing me to explore my options without ever feeling rushed. I honestly came into the process expecting it to be difficult, but Steve made it easy. His transparency during the entire process was appreciated. I've done business with many car dealerships in my life and service like this is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.

    We drove 45 minutes out of the way so we could lease from Modern. We have a dealer nearer to us but once we met a young salesman named Sal, we knew we would work with him because we want him to be successful and he is fair and honest. Sal made the process so easy and he is so approachable and easy to deal with; the entire process from our random drive-by test drive to signing the financial paperwork makes other dealers look silly. It was super easy, no hassle, easy to work with and we hope Sal has a successful career at Modern - he deserves to be successful! The others we met were equally friendly and fair.

    I just happened to be in the Thomaston area (over an hour drive) and decided to scope out cars — I never owned a Mazda nor was it on my radar until I totaled my Jeep and was given a rental, Mazda CX-90 – it peaked my interest! Also, I really had no intention to purchase that day but I had the pleasure of working with Stephen Duffy— he literally sold me — not in a slimy gotcha car salesman way, NO, he was genuine in his approach, extremely thorough, and knowledgeable. He listened to my forever long checklist and hit them all! He truly made the car buying experience enjoyable— so much so, that I drove back over an hour to finalize the deal— Stephen truly earned my sale!! Thank You Stephen!!

    My mother and I had the pleasure of speaking to Eric Crosby. He was open, friendly, truly wanted to help us get what we needed. The whole endeavor was very fast and the total time from purchase to car pick up was three days. Those three days Eric was very communicative and helpful. He’s very knowledgeable and answered our questions with a concrete response. Overall great experience. I’m happy with my new car, and I got excellent service out of it as well. Sal took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, shared his knowledge of the vehicle options, emphasized their safety features and reliability, and patiently answered all of my questions. He helped me find the perfect car (CX5) to fit my needs and budget. I highly recommend Sal and team over at Modern Mazda to anyone looking for a no-hassle, enjoyable car-buying experience.     After considerable research on various SUVs, I decided to purchase the 2021 Mazda CX5 signature trim. Recently, 3 vehicles came up for sale at different dealerships. Each vehicle was a little different. Before making a decision, I wanted to drive each SUV. I started my day at Modern Mazda. My associate was Sal Bernacchi. I explained to him I was looking at 3 CX5s and I would like to take the SUV out for a drive. I liked Sal right off. He was soft-spoken, very polite and considerate. We went for a drive and Sal answered all my questions. By his detailed answers, he demonstrated an in depth knowledge of the vehicle. After the drive, we sat down and discussed the SUV. I had every intention of moving on but I really liked the atmosphere of this dealership. It was very relaxed, no hard sell. In your face sales associates. After meeting with the manager and agreeing on a price, I decided to end my search and go with the small town dealership and Sal. A week later I returned to. Modern Mazda to purchase the CX5 and Sal was out washing my windows on my SUV. My whole experience at Modern went very smoothly and I’m very happy with my purchase. Also, I’m glad I got to work Sal. If you go to Modern, be sure to ask for Sal. You will not be sorry.

    Sal was a Great help, very accommodating through the whole process made purchasing my first dealership car very easy - very thorough & responsive, not pushy to say the least, through purchasing my pre owned car !! Would definitely recommend going to shop here -
