    This dealership is amazing! I was looking for a pre owned vehicle after my car accident which led to my car being totaled and I went to Modern Mazda in Thomaston, CT. Steve did a great job assisting me with purchasing a Mazda cx5. He’s very polite and patient along with everyone else I met. Thank you Steve so much!

    As a returning customer, I recently visited Modern Mazda looking to upgrade my 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring, which I originally purchased from them five years ago. I was interested in a pre-owned CX-50 hybrid this time. This time, I worked with salesman Steven Duffy, who was incredibly friendly and made a real effort to understand exactly what I was looking for. Steven thoroughly showed me the pre-owned CX-50 hybrid I was interested in, patiently explaining all its features during our test drive. When it came time to discuss numbers, Modern Mazda lived up to its reputation for transparency. They were completely upfront about the pricing for both my CX-5 trade-in and the pre-owned CX-50. I felt the offer for my trade was fair, and they presented me with the best available financing options, making that part of the process straightforward and stress-free. What truly sets Modern Mazda and Steven apart, however, is the level of service after the sale. I accidentally left my garage door opener in my traded-in CX-5. Knowing I live 40 miles away and had a busy work week, Steven went above and beyond – he personally mailed it back to me! This kind of attention to detail and willingness to help is rare and incredibly appreciated. My entire experience, from Browse to driving off the lot, was excellent. I'm thrilled with my pre-owned CX-50 hybrid and have no doubt I'll be returning to Modern Mazda for any future vehicle needs.

    I visited a lot of dealerships in my search for my next car. The vibe at Modern Mazda was different, and much more laid back compared to many of the others I visited. Angela was great from day one, even though I wasn't quite ready to get my new car and I was just exploring options and seeing what was our there. She sent me a video showing me the ins and outs of the car I was interested in. I had a lot of questions, but she was kind and patient and answered each one. I'm so happy with my CX-30 Carbon Edition! I actually look forward to my commute now.

    We just purchased the CX-5 Carbon Turbo, what a great experience! Our sales consultant, Angela Zhovkly, was friendly and knowledgeable about everything; she helped us along our journey to find the perfect car that fit our needs. Our experience from the entire team was seamless and professional. We drove from Fairfield County to this dealership because we heard how accommodating and professional they were and they did not disappoint! We highly recommend them!

    I recently purchased a used 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe from Modern Mazda in Thomaston, CT.  My Product Specialist (or salesperson) was Justin Varecka.  He was well organized, communicated clearly & effectively, and maintained a positive attitude throughout the entire process.  The atmosphere at Modern Mazda was positive.  And the entire staff helped ensure the end-to-end purchasing experience was quick & comfortable.  If you are in the market for a new car, I would not hesitate recommending Justin Varecka & Modern Mazda of Thomaston.

    Recently, my car got totaled due to a hit a run accident and I was in the market to purchase a quality car quickly without additional aggravation. Typically, inventory is limited so you visit the dealership that has the car of choice and not necessarily the dealership of choice. Through Autotrader, I was diverted to Modern Mazda in Thomaston, 45 minutes from my location, because it possessed a gently owned certified 2024 MX-30 Turbo. Fortunately, I was assigned to Stephen Duffy, who paid close attention to what I was looking for in a replacement car and presented me with options. I scheduled an appointment to view available cars on Friday afternoon. When I reached the dealership, Stephen was still working hard with another customer, and instead of making me wait in the customer waiting area, he arranged for his sales manager, Mike, to fill in and take me for the test drive. It was refreshing that this dealership valued my time. Mike, was pleasant and informative and when the test drive concluded, Stephen was free and ready to assist. No wasted time. I decided to purchase the vehicle that afternoon and Stephen, Mike and the rest of the team worked together to get me significantly improved loan terms to my own personal bank rate and made special arrangements so that I can drive the new car off the lot the next day because I was currently renting a car. But Modern Mazda’s exceptional service did not stop there. When I got home with the car, I noticed a hard to see small tear in the seat upholstery. Stephen and Mike looked at the pictures that I had sent them, and they immediately told me that their upholstery repair specialist would fix it. Moder Mazda stood by its product and customer, whatever it takes to make the customer happy. In the future, I will buy all my cars through this dealership.

    I visited Modern Mazda to inquire about a CX-90 in my search for a 3rd row SUV. My experience with both the car and the dealership was fantastic. My sales rep, Stephen Duffy, was helpful and informative, and was never pushy or overwhelming throughout any of the process. Stephen and the rest of his team helped to make the transition to my new vehicle seamless. I highly recommend Modern Mazda and their staff if you are in the market for a vehicle.

Zach, my salesperson, was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated to helping me find the perfect vehicle.     Just days after the White House announced sweeping tariffs across the globe, I accelerated my search for a new Mazda CX-5. Zach Fox of Modern Mazda in Thomaston, CT literally answered the call and remained responsive over the course of my two-week search. By comparison, other sales associates at two other Mazda dealers rarely took the time to respond since their apparent focus was on walk-in customers. But not Zach. He and sales manager, Mike Belval, took the time to listen and address my needs both online and in person. In my case, meeting the price point along with customer care made all the difference.     Went to Modern looking to purchase a new Mazda 3. My wife and I were greeted as soon as walked in and ask if we needed assistance. I had been dealing with Stephen over email and asked for him. While we were waiting the sales manager Mike came introduced himself and asked if we had any questions. Upon meeting Stephen we made small talk and brought the car out for a test drive. He gave us route options that would allow for me to simulate my daily driving. After the test drive we sat and talked numbers and were able to hatch out a deal that worked financially for our family. If your looking for a dealer that's not pushy give Modern a chance and contact Stephen Duffy (product consultant)

Jose is a truly knowledgeable, helpful and patient individual, and he made my experience truly smooth and effortless. I would recommend anyone go see Jose for a great Mazda experience.

    I recently leased a Mazda CX-30 and worked with Abbey Fitzgerald, our sales consultant at Modern Mazda in Thomaston, CT. Abbey was very knowledgable and made the entire process smooth and easy, from the test drive through the signing and the car pickup. I've never had as seamless experience in any other care I have leased from any other deal. I'm loving the car and the experience made it all the better. Thanks to Abbey!

    I stopped at Modern Mazda to look at a CX-5 for my daughter. Even though the dealership is 40 minutes from my home I had a very good experience with Modern years ago so thought I would revisit. We were also considering a Honda CRV and a Subaru. I never had to look at those other cars. After meeting with Stephen Duffy I couldn't bring myself to even consider those other makes. He was great to speak with regarding the CX-5. Totally honest person who really cared about our experience. I had done my research beforehand and thought the asking price was totally fair. We didn't even need to horse trade or negotiate price. It would have been really awkward for me to do that given how well Steve treated us. What a great 5 star experience! Thank you Steve!

    Went to Modern Mazda's website to look at Certified Pre Owned CX-9's and I found one that I was interested in. I made an appointment to go into the dealership the following day and was taken care of by Jose Medina. Jose was very friendly and down to earth and made everything from the test drive to the end of the deal a very pleasant and relaxed experience. No high pressure tactics! It was a very different experience from what I've come to expect from most car dealers. I'm happy to award both Modern Mazda and Jose Medina 5 stars, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car!
