Will Never Go Anywhere Else

Review for service side of things- I cannot thank Liberty Mazda Service department enough. I used Liberty Mazda for over a year until I relocated and decided to try out a different Mazda Dealership. The two just simply cannot be compared. Following damages done to my vehicle by a separate dealership, Liberty took me back under their wing and “righted all the wrongs” that were not their own. They are always understanding, kind and flexible. Their actions and work alone have kept me as a customer with the Mazda corporation as a whole. Jason, the Service manager, is personable and friendly and makes you feel like you are being cared for at a small business or local shop. Craig and George, my service representatives, have always been professional and gone above and beyond in customer service. It is rare you find a dealership service department you fully trust to take good care of your vehicle with honesty and integrity. While already rated in high regards, I hope Mazda corporation further recognizes its service members at Liberty. When it’s time to upgrade, I know exactly where I will be shopping. Thank you, Jason, Craig, George and their team.

    Excellent experience at Liberty Mazda purchasing a new car. Salesman Ken H was great, informative, understanding of our needs and worked with us throughout our entire purchase and delivery of the vehicle. Top notch.

  • Excellent - No Pressure, Knowledgable Salesman

    I was VERY particular with what I wanted (mid-sized sedan, sporty, manual trans, light colored interior). This was difficult to find, as no one wants a manual trans any more. That's not the point...the point is the service I recieved: Not once did salesman Kevin K try to sell me something I didn't want, despite not having what I wanted on his lot. Instead, he went out of his way to find what I was looking for, and found it. 4 other dealers wanted my business, but none offered what I got from Liberty and Kevin Knapp. He knew his cars inside and out. He offered no-pressure price negotiation in person, as well as via text and email. I bought from Liberty and more specifically from Kevin based on his sense of honesty, his knowledge of his product, and his no pressure approach. This is how car buying should be.

    I recently, Feb. 2013, bought my first new car, a Mazda2, and it’s exactly the car I wanted and I couldn’t be happier with any automobile. Mazdas get the highest ratings from what I read and I give Liberty Mazda the highest rating for a car dealership in Connecticut or, I should think, anyway. Ken H. is the gentleman who sold me my Mazda and, over the phone, I told him specifically what I wanted for a car and how much I wanted to pay. And when I went to see Ken, I got just that and more. Ken is personable, genuinely interested and concerned that his clients are treated as they want, and should be treated, and buy the car that fits their needs. Ken steered me to a Mazda2 and in minutes I was steering this fantastic work of automotive excellence around the Liberty Mazda building. That was all the test drive I required. It a few days I became the proud owner of small and cozy, teal color, standard shift Mazda2, smart and striking. My Mazda2 handles superbly on the road and I feel comfortable and safe inside it, and I’ll give my new Mazda2 the care and respect it deserves for many miles and years to come with the help of the service people and auto wizards at Liberty Mazda. The price was less than I expected and the features are more than I expected to enjoy! I hope anyone who’s going to purchase a car has the same kind of excellent buying experience that I had.

    Our experiences with the sales staff during all stages of our vehicle purchase were all pleasant and informative. Vehicle purchasing is a stressful process as it's up to the buyer to determine whether or not they have been presented with the "best" deal. There were no circumstances in which we felt deceived or misinformed - the folks at Liberty Mazda were forthcoming in support of our ultimately making the decision to purchase the vehicle from them. The sales and service staff have thus far addressed each and every one of our needs post-sale.

    First visit to this showroom over Memorial Day weekend. Returned for a test drive shortly after. Personable, but uninformed salesperson. I found the service dept supervisor to be particularly unpleasant. After he made comments criticizing my current vehicle, I knew I'd never get a good deal here. With all the other vehicles available, I kept shopping. I made a cash purchase across the street at Subaru.

    We were met by Kevin K when we entered. He answered all our questions about the various models Mazda had to offer. We decided to test drive a Mazda 6 and loved it. Went back to Kevin's desk and talked numbers. He was very professional, friendly and cooperative and before we knew it, we had come to an agreement to purchase our new 2015 Mazda6. When we came to pick it up the next morning, Kevin took the time to go over all the features and sync my smartphone. I would highly recommended this dealership and it's employees, especially Kevin K.

    Just bought a new Mazda 6 from Liberty. They had just the car we were looking for at a good price and Kevin K was enjoyable to work with. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. The car was a surprise for my daughter and Kevin had everything set up. From a routine test drive with my daughter, to then walking in the prep bay and seeing the car with a bow on it. The look on my daughters face was priceless. Thanks again Kevin!

    We went to three dealerships to test drive 4 different new cars. Regardless the performance of the cars, the dealership of Liberty Mazda was the easiest one to work with. All of the procedures are straightforward (we hate the back-and forth price negotiation or people sale us things we don't want and waste our time). They are highly efficient and friendly. We went out in the morning 11 am without idea what we are going to buy and got home by 5 pm with a new car we love. We paid >$700 below the MSRP! Great experience and feels good.

  • Horrible dealership

    My overall experience with this dealer was horrible. It started from day 1. The first day I went there I saw a car a liked, we talked and explained everything about the car but when I wanted to test drive it they wouldn't let me? Although angry I still came back and purchased the car only for the fact that they were the only dealership that had the certified preowned. There was no negotiating, price and everything was set firm, had to argue to even get a second key. Car was finally bought and had some paintwork done. I paid top dollar for terrible work. Several things were wrong. I had to return to the dealership which is 40 min away, about 3 times. Everytimensomething was wrong, and when stated it mark the manager just stands there and doesn't say anything. I left there with the work I paid for not done right. Overall customer service sucks and they are very fake.

    This was an excellent car buying experience. The folks at Liberty Mazda made our experience easy, festive and downright fun. From our sales consultant, Brian, to the GM, everyone worked to make our experience a great one. The staff went over the top for us by putting the car in the showroom with a big green bow. Our children were ecstatic to take our new family member home. Thank you, Liberty Mazda, it was a great car buying experience.

  • Couldn't be happier with my new-used car

    I had a wonderful experience dealing with Kevin and the Liberty Mazda staff. My initial visit was on a Saturday and I was in my car by Monday. My old car was on its last leg and Liberty Mazda was my last stop of the day as far as scouting out new cars. The timing was perfect as the make and model that I was envisioning - a Mazda 3 Hatchback, had just been marked as a preowned certified. The 2013 models were getting bumped out for the newest shipment and put this brand new "used" car in my price range. Kevin and the sales staff couldn't have been more accommodating in addressing my financial needs and what I was looking for in a new car. Thanks again everyone!
