Customer Reviews of O'Meara Ford
Review type:
Unprofessional
by Jason Lenhart on 10/25/2024For the record, I made 12 attempts to have this issue addressed by the GM, Nathan Johnston, at O’Meara Ford (6 emails & 6 phone calls) but he’s done nothing to help so I have no choice but to document the problem with a review followed by a… claim with the Better Business Bureau and file a suit with the Smalls Claims Court in Adams County. When I purchased my pre-owned F150 I also purchased a Premium Care extended warranty. The salesperson assured me I was purchasing the zero deductible warranty only to find out later that Ford doesn’t offer a zero deductible warranty. The deductible was $100.00 and the make things right, the COO at the time, Steve Johnston put in writing that O’Meara Ford would reimburse me the $100 deductible if I ever needed covered repairs for the life of the warranty, regardless of what dealership I take my truck to. I only had to take it in for service once while Steve was the COO and he promptly sent me a check for $100 after I provided him with the receipt from Castle Rock Ford where I took (I live 5 miles away). Unfortunately, I’ve been unable to reach Steve and the current GM is Nathan Johnston. I took my F150 into Castle Rock Ford to have the cam-phasers replaced and paid the $100 deductible. I contacted Nathan via email with the paid receipt and a copy of the letter Steve sent me guaranteeing reimbursement for the deductible. Nathan replied that he’d have it taken care of so I know he at least received my email but now, 7 weeks later I haven’t received the check and he will not respond to any follow-up emails and since he doesn’t have a voicemail at work I have to leave messages with his staff and he has not returned any of the 6 messages I’ve left for him. I had the GM at Castle Rock Ford look into this on 3 separate occasions just in case the check had been sent to them and they have no record of it. I’m at a loss and frustrated that this is even happening. I’m a customer of O’Meara Ford. I bought my truck there and this is the kind of treatment you get. It blows my mind that Nathan would let it come to this over $100 but I’m not going away and I’ll see them in court.Worst Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had
by JLenhart on 02/16/2021The worst car buying experience I've ever had. It started with waiting 3.5 hrs to complete the purchase only to be repeatedly given false information about the ESP PremiumCARE plan I purchased. I left a total of 8 voicemails for Khemary &… Richard in Finance and Jessica Barrett (sales manager) over the course of 2 weeks and did not receive a single call back. I had to drive from Castle Pines to the dealership 106 miles roundtrip twice just to get answers as to why I did not receive the extended warranty I paid for and still it's not been resolved. This is absolutely the worst run dealership I have ever encountered. I'm a paying customer who bought and F150 from the dealership and this is the level of customer service I received. I cannot put into words how disappointing the entire experience has been. I plan on leaving reviews on every site I can from Google Reviews to Yelp, BBB, Cars.com, Autotrader, Edmunds and any other site I can find. They are very nice to you while you're buying the vehicle and once that's complete you're on you own. They do not want anything to do with you. There are so many Ford dealerships in the Denver-metro area you DO NOT want to give them your business.Terrible sales management and lots of lies
by Degrees23 on 06/02/2018They sold me a car that wasnt even road worthy. I had to contact the dealer advisory board about their shady business practices to get my car up to basic standards. They also took over 3 months to pay off my trade so I had to make both car… pay Paynes several times to protect my credit. I have purchased over 40 cars in my life and this was by far the worst experience I have had. They should be run out of business.Good
by Skipper36 on 05/02/2018updated 05/22/2018I have used O'Meara for service for some time, always a good job, lately the price has gone up considerably, other then that a great place to place your trust for good maintenance.Oil Change Overcharge
by MLBackens on 04/07/2018First of all, KUDOS to Lauryn at O'Meara Ford Westminster, CO. She is consistently professional, courteous and friendly since we have been dealing with her in the service department for several years. She has been honest in recommending… service repairs and is sincere in keeping us safe in our vehicle in the Denver,CO area. However, I was charged full price for the works oil change. I had a coupon for$10.00 off of $39.99, but was charged $39.99. I gave the center several coupons, but did not have the internet paper coupon for $39.99. Also it was recommended for the second time that our fuel filter be changed. Our 2008 Taurus does NOT have a fuel filter. Lauryn said she would make sure that would not happen again. We will purchase a new car soon and hopefully O'Meara Ford will accommodate our needs.Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
by Camp0460 on 12/16/2017updated 12/26/2017I'm experiencing buyer's regret for getting my car at O'Meara Ford because I'm being treated as an inconvenience instead of a customer to whom they made a commitment. I purchased a 2015 Volkswagen Passat from O'Meara Ford and the sales… experience was fine. Follow up, however, has been horrendous. The radio was not functioning and the dealership agreed to take care of it for me. After bringing it in three times, now, the issue is still not resolved. They have send it over to O'Meara Volkswagen twice to be diagnosed, and they have been wonderful - the opposite of my experience at Ford. I have submitted contact requests for management to contact me, voicemails for the sales and service department and contacted my salesperson they are completely unresponsive. I guess they got my money, and that is all that matters.O'MEARA FORD
by Dominic_Aimee on 12/03/2017Our car salesman Ivan was very helpful, informative, and professional!!! We purchased 2 cars and we were given very competitive pricing on each car. We felt very comfortable and never felt uncomfortable as we have at other dealerships. Also… Rueben the Sales Manager did an amazing job!! Our credit isn't perfect and we were hesitant about making this purchase happen, he had us approved in no time with 2 great monthly payments. We were honestly impressed with O'Meara Ford and these 2 gentleman. Thanks Dominic & Aimeetook advantage of

by Patty_Berthoud on 03/19/2017I was requested information via email regarding your 2016 stock inventory. I had immediate response to my questions, your staff worked well, Very well as a team assisting us with our purchase.Terrible Buying Experience
by sjtitan on 03/11/2017Terrible experience at O'meara Ford in Northglenn Colorado, Salesman seemed distracted like he was more concerned with socializing with his coworkers than selling me a car. In negotiations, we agreed on a price plus dealer fees; before… signing I asked "What are the dealer fees?". The salesman said "$599" so I signed. When I got back to financing they started getting the paperwork ready. I had to ask to see a detailed breakdown of what I was going to pay for. When it was shown to me it said "ETCH" and had a fee of $335. I said, "What is that? I don't want to pay for it whatever it is, no one told me of an ETCH fee." The financial manager seemed flustered and said I have to because all their cars are sold with it. I replied "I was told the dealer fees were $599." The financial manager said that the salesmen are supposed to tell us about this upfront and he wasn't sure why he didn't. At this point he kept preparing the paperwork. Don't trust this dealer. If you expect any support after the purchase I would toss that idea out the window. I called back the next day to express my dissatisfaction with the ETCH fee and what felt like shady dealings. I got through to a sales manager, she took down my information and said she would get to the bottom of it and get back to me. Low and behold, she never called me back. Three more calls throughout the week and still they never called me back. Each time they would transfer me to someone's voicemail. Finally, I called back a bit upset at this point and asked why they wouldn't call me back. The receptionist said she would go talk to a sales manager and get back to me, she promised. Well, 20 minutes later she did call back but only to tell me I would be contacted by the sales manager. Now it is 3 weeks after and still no call back. Please, spend your money elsewhere, O'meara Ford is not worth your time. They burned me, I will never give them my money again and really for your sake, I hope you do the same.Great Service!
by Skipper36 on 11/23/2016updated 12/05/2016I drove into the Fast Lane, was helped immediately, given a cup of coffee, updated on the needs of my vehicle, given a price for the air filter it needed, and then found in the waiting area by my technician when the car was ready.Ford Brakes
by genelinda080 on 10/08/2016updated 10/16/2016We were very disappointed to learn that our brake rotors were scorched and warped at 29,000 miles. The technician suggested that it was operator abuse as a result of a panic stop or long downhill, mountainous driving. He also assured us… that the calipers were not dragging to cause this damage. We are Colorado natives and learned to drive in the mountains using drum brakes and manual transmissions. I put over 100,000 miles on a Chevy one ton truck, towing a fifth wheel all around the country for 9 years. So I know how to drive and use brakes wisely. This Ford was never used to tow anything and the heaviest objects we haul now in the bed are our golf clubs. So it has never seen severe use that should have caused those rotors to scorch and warp. Is it possible that there has been a recall on our 2013 F-150 for any brake problem?

Unfortunately, I cannot delete this review per Edmunds policy but I will say that the management at O'Meara stepped in and made it right. They did the best they could to get me an ESP plan that matches what I was quoted and even through in a 2 yr/24K maintenance program for free to make up for any trouble we had. I appreciate the leadership Steve demonstrated and my opinion of O'Meara has certainly changed for the better. My apologies I cannot edit the review
