by ferretman on 12/17/2011updated 08/04/2025Was looking for a good used SUV to handle the mountain roads I live on. I'd found a couple of potential vehicles online and communicated with Faricy to come in to take a look at them; they were very accommodating and easy to work… with. Unfortunately neither of the vehicles I came in to look at were satisfactory (always a possibility with an "as is" vehicle), but after asking what else was available we were show two other SUVs. Both were good, but my eye fell on a *very* nice Chevy Blazer that had just come into the lot. We took it for a test drive and had it checked out and beyond a couple of fairly minor problems it was in excellent shape. I ended up buying it and (24 hours later) am so far quite happy with it. Pros: Fast and friendly service, fast at getting the paperwork done, very helpful with questions. Cons: The overhead "handling" charge of $490 is a bit steep (though they do have signs up everywhere warning folks about it), especially for a vehicle that is an 'as is" car. Would have been a nice touch if they'd have actually filled the gas tank--car places USED to do that and it's a bit cheap not to do so after you just plunked several $$$ down for a car. Would definitely consider them again. This was exactly what I was looking for.Honest, straight-forward, no hassel Dealer!

No pressure, no brown nosing, no lies! Got the car fax, let me get an independent inspection,… corrected a minor issue, and gave me a great price. Financing was easy without any pressure to buy add ons. The financee guy Kevin was honest and straight forward. None of those "standard" fees that are added to every car we sell. Overall great experience, and now I have a great car.Great Experience!!!

I would highly recommend the… Faricy Boys dealership to anyone shopping for a vehicle. Everyone from the sales and finance departments was great to deal with. In particular I would like to laud Ron Covert, General Sales Manager - along with Ryan Freemont, Internet Sales Director, and Jack Reak, Internet Sales Manager. No one bargains harder for a new vehicle than I do, having had a lot of friends and family in the business. It was so refreshing to see a dealership who respected my own knowledge and whose staff quickly came to the realization that doing business in a quick professional manner was foremost. We met with Dave Smith to take a look at the vehicle and take it for a test drive.… Dave was very knowledgeable on the vehicle and answered all the questions we had. We were amazed at the option package our particular model (Overland Summit) was equipped with. Vehicles we looked at for thousands of dollars more did not have the features this Jeep had. We were happy with the ride quality and overall drive of the vehicle. Dave worked with us on our trade-in and we were able to get a very reasonable deal on our new Jeep. Dave gave us a tour of the dealership and introduced us to the parts department and the service department. They had our new Jeep washed and filled with gas and they backed it into the dealership showroom for us to pick up. This was a great added touch to an already exceptional experience. We would recommend that you check out The Faricy Boys if you are looking for a new vehicle and if you are in the market for an SUV I would check out the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I checked out similiar jeeps at other dealerships and they could not beat the price… offered by the Faircy Brothers. I was offered a fair trade in value for my vehicle much more than other dealerships offered.I do appreciate the fairness, it was a refreshing change from feeling like your being taken advantage of and I do feel like they care about their customer.new car purchase

Answered every question, was very helpful, and was never pushy. Thanks everyone at the dealership for being so… awesome and making the experience great....If I find myself in the market for another Jeep I will come back to Faricy Boys. The one thing I was confused about was the online person whom I was told to ask for yet was not there Saturday morning. You think they see a woman coming and they see stupid written on her forehead. I can assure you… that this DID NOT happen at Faircy Boys. Craig Berhost was such a help in getting what I wanted for the right price. Not pushy at all. Just helpful. I can't recommend this dealership enough! I would definitely ask for Dave again the next time I'm in the market for a car. He did not initially know a ton about the 2011… Compass because it had just come out on the market when we went into the dealership, but he was good about researching what he didn't know, he didn't act like he knew something if he didn't, and once we ordered our Compass, he was good about keeping us up-to-date on the progress of our vehicle. We did spent significantly longer than I anticipated completing the purchase process once the car was ready to take delivery, but I don't think that was a disregard for our time, it was just a busy time of day.BEST car buying experience ever!
