I explained her I have to pick up my sister-in-law at LAX and take care of her 3 days using my car Prius. If my car is not ready then… I have big troubles. Attitude of Alice is a great customer 1st. minded manners, quick and intelligent responses to my car problem. Thanks for Alice, I could do everything with my sister-in-law while she stayed with me. by wnguyen on 04/07/2011updated 08/04/2025I had been shopping around for more than 5 auto dealerships in Orange County & Long Beach before stopping at DCH Torrance. HUDSON LEE was the one who helped me have my first car. I used to think that I might never get my first car this year… because all of the dealerships I had been to kept making me frustrating. They tried to take as much $$ from me as possible by giving me a high monthly payment, or a long term payment etc. It wasn't like that when I came to DCH Torrance. Hudson Lee is very professional and courteous before and after the sale. He suggested which car I should buy for my need by comparing, & explaining the advantages of each kind of car. Finally, I decided to buy a brand new Corolla LE '11. He made sure that I knew how to use all the options in the car, and kept telling me that never hesitate to call him whenever I have problems, questions about the car. The deal process was very fast because Mr. Lee really tried hard to match my financial need from the very first shot which was unbelievable. Because at other dealerships I even spent 4-5hours there but never got to anything. Mr. Yamasaki is a nice guy too. He suggested me to a check out a good insurance company so that I could have a low quote for my car. Thanks a lot Mr. Lee and Mr. Yamasaki. Working with you guys was very easy, helpful, and worthy. One thing that I always remembered was the sales person. I received many responses to my internet inquiry, but I chose to respond to… Mr. Killebrew because he sounded as if he had experience in the car sales arena. In fact I wanted a salesperson that was seasoned and older because I felt like one with those characteristics would be honest and straightforward with me. I was able to tell Mr. Killebrew my requirements and he actually listened. I appreciated that I didn't have to go through the lot looking at cars I knew realisticlly I could not afford. However, the one quality I really, really liked was Mr. Killebrew ability to relate to me on a humanistic level. He had a spiritual quality that I was attracted to and recognized through his phone skills. For me that was more important than anything else. I liked him right off as a person and really wanted to do business with him because I wanted to be a blessing for him, as well as he being a blessing to me. It is amazing how I was led to Mr. Killebrew. I really didn't think I could get a car, old, new or anything. I truly believe that this transaction took place because it was ordained. I hope you share this with Mr. Killebrew. Thank you so very much for your concern for me as a human being and for my son. Not many people have that gift and he truly does. I pray he receives the many gifts that are in store for him. DCH of Torrance is really blessed to have a sales person with such qualities as Mr. Killebrew.Great Buying Experience

He was not pushy at all, he respected us as consumers especially as I was at the dealership with my wife… and 6-month old baby. Phil worked a competitive offer for us also on our trade-in and worked through the purchase process very quickly. He carefully explained the features of our new car and even configured the car Bluetooth for our 2 phones. Overall Phil made our purchase an enjoyable experience and made us feel very good as a costumers!!!HATE TOYOTA TORRENCE, NEVER GO THERE!

YOU lured us into the store with a false advertisement on the vehile at a very competitive price. Knowing that we lived far, Mark… you the black-hearted manager even suggested us to travel there fast, saying only "several" of cars on special were left, and promised our 0% interest. It turned out that there was only ONE bloody car with scratches on sale and the car has gone. He then tried to trap us with some outrageous deals with high price and interest rate... You also promised MANY camrys, one honest salesperson told us there was only one and in bad condition. NEVER BELIEVE IN THEM! ALEX you are evil too, knowing we took a taxi there costing 150 dollars. We asked to see you to verify what you promised, you are afraid to turn out. Where is your conscience? You just try to lure us there and rip us off. WE HATE THIS EXPERIENCE and would discourage anyone to go there. THEY ARE [non-permissible content removed], SHAME ON THEM. Because you are SO DISHONEST AND CHEAP. Salesman, manager, and finance people were very easy to deal with. I wish this dealership… will always be successful and stay in good business so our friends and relatives can continue to buy here in the future.If all things were equal, I would have purchased from DCH

DCH tried but could not. Highly recommend working with Jared as he really tried hard... no games… with him. He shared everything and was very sincere. I almost feel guilty not buying from him. If all the prices were the same, I would have purchased from Jared as I know he proved to be very sincere and honest during my dealings with him but just couldn't get close enough to my target. Ended up going with Power Toyota and if your crazy enough wanting to read why, read my review I post there...Great experience

My wife found a Baja Toyota Tacoma and loved it so much she was ready to buy. I was on a time crunch for work so we had to leave but the sales… staff did a fantastic job of allowing us to come back the next day to finish our paperwork. We really enjoyed how flexible the staff was. As we traded in our van for our new truck our youngest son cried when he had to say goodbye and I appreciated the extra time we had in order to help him transition to the new one.Thank you for the compliments on our new showroom as well as our staff. Yelp vs. Edmunds, who to believe?
by tl92647 on 11/06/2012updated 08/04/2025I'm really puzzled between the discrepancy between Yelp's reviews (2 stars, 47 reviews, comparing to here (5 stars, 46 reviews)? Well, here's my experience with DCH Toyota of Torrance... Negotiated a deal on the phone with saleslady for a… 2012 Prius Two (blizzard pearl), confirmed everything down to the last penny and screened out all other hidden add-ons, was told she already checked with manager and got approval for the deal, just need to go down and sign & pay for the car. Told me to work with another salesman since she won't be there. Ok, told to arrange for appointment, got there on time, waited for 15 min. and finally the guy show up and said he's busy and match us with another salesguy. Told him we already negotiated for the car and started paperwork. Guy acted puzzled and do the usual "check with manager" routines and made us waited a long time, finally told me deal is no good anymore, but then quickly changed his mind and said they can still match the promised price... oh, but wait... there's the extra $495 for the alarm, $89 for wheel lock, $795 for Xylon coating, $95 for door guard and they are all pre-installed and can not remove on ALL cars in stock that matched our selection (pure & simple BS). I thought their tactic is quite primitive, they can be more creative than that. Manager there is [non-permissible content removed], all he can do is apologize every 10 seconds during our conversation and blame it on "salesman's mistake". I'm happy for those who end up with positive experience here but for me the bottom line is to STAY AWAY from this dealership (lesson learned) !!Thank you for providing us with your feedback. Didn't have such a horrible time, though it did take about 4 hours to get out of there. Bottom line, don't stand for all of the dealer installed options. Just because they put it on doesn't mean you have to buy it. Ask for a bare care in the stock room, or wait for it to come in. Alarm => $200, Wheel locks => 39.95, Xylon coating => don't need, Door guard => $20 max at pep boys. "Prestine, and untouched" is what you want." Don't stand for the extra stuff. You can always go somewhere else.
