Negotiated price went up $1.5K in paperwork
by Nick on 04/18/2021They tried to trick me. Don’t recommend to anyone to come to the Sunnyvale Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. You risk to spend several hours, get thumbs up for your deal and then you’ll be told the deal can’t be done. Please find details about my… experience below. Internet price for a car I liked was $23988. When I came in, a sticker on the car was $22388. I asked the dealership guy I’ve been working with (Michael) if this is a correct price and mentioned the internet price I saw - he said the sticker is correct, must be a weekend discount. After that, as we’ve been discussing the deal, he went to his manager several times to confirm deal details - everything was ok. So we agreed on $22K, I filled out financing form, waited for about 40 mins... by that time, I’ve been there for already 3 hours. and then Michael came and said that the sticker price was wrong and everything he can give is $23.5K. I asked how can it be, given that I explicitly was said the sticker price is correct and Michael had a chance to double check it with manager. The answer was “I’m sorry, that was a mistake”. I said that I buy the car for the sticker price or leave and got “No”. So I left.I was amazed at the way I was treated

I have very little resources so I could not go out and just plop a load of cash down or make high payments.I went on the internet and found a dealer close to my home, I looked over his website… and found he had a small inventory of new Chrysler Jeep and Dodge vehicles. So I looked some more and found the web page for Sunnyvale Chrysler Jeep and Dodge. Here they had page after page of new and used vehicles. After spending an hour reading about the different vehicles the dealership has in stock, I filled out the online get a quote request form for an online price quote for a new Chrysler PT Cruiser. The car seemed to have all I wanted and according to all the info on the dealers website the PT got great mileage and had a lot of amenities all as standard equipment. I filled out the request form and went to turn my computer off for the night. All of a sudden I saw that I had already received a reponse from the dealer. In his response was a greeting and a note the an Internet representative would be in touch with me shortly. I then heard the phone ring and answered it to find that it was the Internet Sales Mgr a Mister Jim Povio. Jim politely asked when I would like to come take a test drive in the new PT Cruiser. I explained to Jim that my car was not running and could not come in until it was. He offered to come pick me and my family up and take us to the dealership. The next day Jim came driving up in a brand new PT Cruiser. He took us all to the dealership. While my son watched the big screen tv and ate all of the cookies in the showroom lounge and my daughter sat and played games in the childrens play area Jim and I had coffee and discussed my purchase. I had very little to put as a down payment and told Jim I did not want to pay alot for monthly payments. When all was said and done I drove my family home in my nw PT Cruiser. Jim sold me the car and made the deal one that even I could afford. It was trully a no hassle or haggle deal and it took less than an hour to finish. Now I am the proud owner of a Sunnyvale Chrysler PT Cruiser I would reccommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a new or used car. I want to thank all the kind folks at Sunnyvale Chrysler Jeep Dodge for selling me my new PT Cruiser. Call them today and ask for Jim Povio. You won't regret it Martha JonesJerry Torregrosa
by pt4jt on 05/27/2008Out of the 11 new vehicles I have bought in my lifetime, Sunnyvale Chrysler Jeep Dodge is undoubtedly the best dealership I have ever dealt with. The purchasing process was the easiest I have ever gone through. The owner went to the extreme… to meet me at his dealership so that i may take delivery of my Dodge Magnum before regular hours so that I may leave on my trip on time. Not only all of that but Frank Niknam is a great person to talk to.
