A class sales experience
by Joe on 12/28/2022Very happy with our sales experience. First off they're not selling above msrp. You can't even get a Toyota nowadays without some "market adjustment". We looked around multiple brands including BMW and this was the only dealership that… wasn't trying to gouge customers. Second, very friendly and personable staff. They made the entire experience painless. Didn't try and force other options or play the four square game with our rate. Don't pay $45k for a Camry or $70k for a Lexus IS. Mercedes Purchase
by Disappointed on 12/22/2022Let’s start this review with a positive, I love the car and it’s a beautiful vehicle. The salespeople were great and patient with me test driving multiple vehicles (3) as I was not sure what I wanted. I had to come back the next day to… complete my purchase as I had plans for the evening and couldn’t stay. The salesperson was understanding & put the vehicle in the back. He also had it detailed, fueled up and text me to confirm my appointment for the next day. I show up the next morning and said salesperson was not available for our appointment as I guess he had to go take care of something. They give me a different salesman who I had also worked with the day before and he took me to the vehicle. The vehicle looked great but there was an error code still on the it that was there the day before that had still not been checked…. And yes I did make sure the SP was aware of and even sent him a potential way to clear it. New SP said he got busy that morning and that is totally understandable as things happen so we sat in the car for a while trying to problem solve on clearing the error code and trying to see if the functions of the car worked. I was trying to get the head up display to work as it was not showing up on the windshield. This should have been a red flag that he didn’t think I was competent as he kept telling me to how do things I was already trying and then tried to do them himself as I guess he didn’t think I knew what I was doing but said error code didn’t go away and I believed that it was causing the car functions not to work. I had read that it may go away if you leave it running for 20-30 minutes so we decide to go in and talk numbers. I advise him that I’m already approved with “blank” credit union and would like to use them and says sure and asks me a few times what are their rates. I tell him I can forward my approval email with approved amount and rates. He also asked me on 3 different occasions if my husband was going to be on the loan to which I tell him no, it will only be me. He then has me complete a credit application and I’m questioning him as to why as I am already approved with CU and would like to use them and I don’t want my credit being ran again as I would take a hit, there is no reason for it. I did not realize at the time that I needed to ask for a purchase contract specifically, to allow my credit union to mail a check. So we wait around for a while and then the SP is like sign this “as is” and sign this and that. I said no, you have “blank” warranty on the window and no, I will not sign that I’m buying as the error code is on there and it will not allow me to check all functions on to car to make sure they are working. My husband then proceeds to tell him to take it to the shop and clear the code out, see if there are other code and we will ask for a due bill for if the code comes back. SP does that and then goes on a ride with the car to make sure the code doesn’t come back. When SP returns we go to the car and check all the functions and they are all working properly… so we move on to me agreeing to buy it. I again confirm that I want to go with my CU and he said yep no problem just waiting for finance. So back to the waiting game, and when finance is ready he comes to me and says I ran your credit with said CU and the rates are higher than what you said they are. I’m confused and it’s the weekend so I can’t get a hold of anyone at said CU so I’m like that’s weird, well I’m not going to do that as that is not what I was told. (I later confirmed with CU it’s because they ran it as a non-member and you get a lower rate as a member). He says yeah that’s weird I don’t get it as you have prime credit so I don’t get it either. He says I’ll try Bank of America and I say no I’m a member of another CU this other CU one too, go with them. I don’t want you running my credit over and over as I don’t want to take the hits. He says that he put my info in the cudl system and could get the offer from there and walks off. I then get a notice he ran it again with someone else and comes out to me and says BofA can do this and your car payment is $$. I laugh in his face as his rate is RIDICULOUS! I am angry at this point, literally pissed off and told him to take his offer and keep the car as I don’t need this car and it was just a want and his offer is a joke. I told him to go with said two other CU’s and he picked BofA. He just says well rates when up and it is what it is, so basically take it or leave it and starts to walk away. I go to walk out and SP steps in and says please wait, please let me talk to the manager. SP says he doesn’t understand what is going on as you have excellent credit. I am pretty upset at this point and want to leave. I feel like I was a reasonable customer and did not haggle the price or ask for anything special but feel like they just thought I was a stupid non-Caucasian woman. So back to my credit getting ran again with another CU that I am not a member of … finance person came to me with another CU and I just tell him I’m not dealing with him anymore and I will talk to the manager only. Manager sends my SP back with an offer from MY CU with the lowest rate that are offering right now and I sign for my vehicle. It was the CU that I told them I was a member of from the beginning. So if you read this extremely long review just know that finance will do a great job at making you feel like an idiot and run your credit so many times it makes you sick. And yes I have all the notifications to prove what he did. Never ever will I buy a vehicle from here again and if in the future I ever want a new BMW I will go somewhere else. Oh and lastly as I am getting in the vehicle I hear the finance guy tell SP he is sorry for all that. Sorry to him not me the one who credit was just ran 4 additional times after coming in with an approval.A truly positive buying experience!

Outstanding Customer Service - Service Dept
by M, Handy on 12/20/2022I recently experienced outstanding customer service from BMW Roseville, CA. Background: I own a M3 with a V8 engine that has unique and specialized service requirements. I recently experienced a catastrophic ignition failure and my… vehicle was disabled and had to be towed into the dealership. The issue was a compound problem between the BMW factory installing an incorrect amp fuse and complications from a recent "M service" that requires extensive work on the engine. The BMW Roseville Service Department did an outstanding job investigating the contributing cause and effect of the problem, took ownership for resolution, and did an outstanding job keeping the customer updated. There are three individuals I like to call out specifically that all played an integral role in providing outstanding customer service. Chris Cubberley - Service Advisor Outstanding customer service and interaction with the customer. Chris did an excellent job of communicating and keeping the customer informed of the status of repair. After discussing and reviewing the initial evaluation of what the vehicle needed for repair, Chris took the initiative to investigate the cause and effect of what disabled the vehicle, approached his manager with data and resolved the problem before the customer had an opportunity to discuss the issue. Nick Gilliland - Service Department Manager Nick recognized the issue as both a problem from the factory and complications from a previous service and accepted responsibility and resolution of the issue before the customer ever had the chance to discuss. Dan Star - Service Technician / Foremen Dan did an outstanding job methodically diagnosing the problem, well documenting the cause and effect, and getting the vehicle functioning well. All three of individuals played a crucial part in providing an excellent Customer Service experience. This is a shining example of Customer Service and the importance each member of the Service Department has to ensuring great Customer Service. by Jeanette O on 05/28/2022I was living out of state when my local BMW dealership diagnosed the knocking, I heard in the front of my car while driving, as a steering rack issue, but not to worry because the part was under warranty. Unfortunately, the part was coming… from Germany and was 6 months out and I had to relocate out of state before the part arrived. Once the part arrived, I had to find a local BMW dealership to coordinate shipping to Californian and install it. There were 2 locations about equal distance from my work address – a coin toss chose BMW of Roseville. I set up an appointment online and was paired up with James Foures-Moon as my Service Advisor. I called James to discuss the situation and he said he’s look into it. James called back and said that he located the part locally and would have it available for my service appointment. I was relieved and grateful. On the day of my appointment, James came out, polite and friendly, to greeted me as I was getting out of the car. He escorted me to his office where we discussed the part to be installed and other maintenance services due. He listened to all of my questions and answered them to my satisfaction. After I left the dealership in a loaner car, he called to give me regular updates until my car was ready for pick up. When I came to pick up my car, James walked me out and helped me transfer shopping bags from the loaner car to my freshly washed car. It wasn’t just James; everyone I came in contact at the dealership with was polite and professional.
