I started by filling out a loan application on the Internet and what I was interested in. I quickly… got a call back from Alejandro Who worked diligently that day to find the car I was looking for at the price I wanted to pay. By the afternoon he had something all picked out with the finance agreement ready. I went out the next morning and sat down with Greg Jarvis I test drove the Hyundai Elantra that I was interested in and fell in love with it. We went back and spent about 20 minutes at Greg J.'s desk finishing up some details and then it was over to see Sean F. at the finance department to sign the contracts. Sean was professional and quick the total time spent at the Hyundai dealer was A little over an hour. I drove away in a beautiful 2011 preowned Hyundai with an excellent warranty. I can't say enough how much I highly recommend this dealer. I am a very happy customer. Your First and Last stop for a great car / service

I saw that car and it looked better in person than in pictures. I am a first time buyer and I did not have… high hopes that I would be able to get the car. Through their amazingly hard work they were able to get me a better deal than I would have imagined of getting. Francisco, Howard, and Kris = Dream Team!!
by geneticsiscool on 06/13/2013updated 08/03/2025This dealership is AMAZING! We pulled up yesterday and immediately were greeted by Francisco, very friendly and asked what we had in mind. My husband and I explained that we were fully expecting a purchase to be impossible given our… situation (recent bankruptcy plus a car to trade in worth significantly less than the amount left on the loan) but thought we'd stop by just to see what the potential options were as we are very interested in purchasing a Santa Fe at some point. So - knowing full well and upfront that there was slim to no chance of selling a car to us, I expected they would lose interest, tell us it was probably best to wait a year or so, and come back later. Nope - Francisco actually reassured us that there was actually HOPE and showed us the 2012 certified used car on the lot which was exactly what were looking for. He then brought in Howard, the finance sales manager, to help us look at all the numbers and figure out what we needed to do to try to make this all work. They spent HOURS with us, answering our questions and discussing various scenarios and options with no guarantee of selling the car. They weren't pushy or impatient, they were 100% open, honest, and just incredible. Howard kept in touch with me the rest of the evening about the various loan approvals, etc, and introduced me over the phone to Kris W., who would be speaking with the banks the next day since Howard would be out. The next day (TODAY), Kris was in constant contact with me throughout the day and I'm excited to report that I have dumped my old terrible car and came home with my Santa Fe with an exceptionally reasonable monthly payment!! These guys went above and beyond for us so that we could be in the car we wanted to be in when we wanted to be in it. I had such negative hopes for this yesterday and now I have one in my driveway 24 hours later! I'm almost in shock. My experiences with car lots and dealerships in the past have been pretty terrible. Pushy salesmen, finance guys who really don't want to answer your questions or help you out unless they know for sure you will be given a loan and you will buy their cars, fishy tactics, bad feelings, etc. Oxnard Hyundai was none of that. I am so impressed at my entire experience. They were even nice and friendly and hospitable to my two seven year old girls who were with us! They have a new loyal customer. The next time I need another car (or know someone is looking for one), Oxnard Hyundai will be my first and only choice.OUTSTANDING!

I thought another local high end dealer was the best I was going to see and was loyal UNTIL I walked on to Oxnard Hyundai's lot. I was in the market for a used car, not sure of what I wanted or… pricing... really in the dark! I was greated promptly and proffesionally by Francisco V. Proffesional appearance, demeanor and knowledge! Within 20 minutes of Francisco allowing me to walk the lot and ask questions non stop.... he helped me pick out a vehicle- Not just any vehicle.... EXACTLY what I had been looking for and for a price that was amazing! I became nervous when financing was involved; thinking of past dealer experiences.... I was Shocked! Nick N. worked closely with Francisco V. and had already prepared a general quote and SEVERAL options that were available to me and I could select from! I signed the deal and even once I had my keys in hand.... Shocked again!!!!! Francisco V. had arranged for a FULL Wash, Polish AND wax while I was signing paperwork. Not only that, It had a FULL tank! Mr. V. Then took about an hour of his time to "introduce" me to my new (used) car showing me options and features! NO ONE takes the time like that on a used car and not that dealers brand! I drove off happy as could be! Thought it couldn't get any better! THEN IT DID! Francisco sent me a quick text and got me an extra key and remote, All I had to do was stop by the service department while on lunch and have the remote programmed. Took 15 minutes, Got a free cup of tea in the very clean and nice waiting area. And whats this? The car came out of service WASHED AGAIN and it went in with 3/4 tank, It was filled up again!!!! TOP NOTCH! I can now see why this newer dealer has more clients on the lot than ANY dealer in the auto center! Mr. Francisco V. has earned a client for life as well as Mr. Nick N. in the Finance department ensuring I was comfortable with everything! A+++++++ Dealer and Sales!used car purchase

We went into the dealership just to look around and get a feel for a particular car that we had been researching and… were not intending to buy that day. However, the dealership was running an excellent special and discounts on the particular model of car that we were interested in. There as no high pressure sales pitch like you find at most dealerships. The atmosphere was very relaxed which made us both feel very comfortable while we discussed our potential purchase. Frank and Bill both went above and beyond to help us find an option that was affordable for us and fit into the figures that we felt comfortable with. We did end up making that purchase, even though when we first came in we didn't think we would be able to make the numbers work. Everyone that we dealt with at Oxnard Hyundai went above and beyond our expectations, no pressure, no tricks, just genuinely nice people who were willing to help us get into the car that we wanted.
