Giovanni, the Internet director, was excellent - I received the quote from him… one day and was in his office the next day signing the paperwork. No tricks or hidden fees. If you're looking for a Honda, I highly recommend contacting Giovanni who made the whole process easy and straightforward.Excellent & Professional: A++ Dealer

Everybody I worked with from sales to service department were exceptionally professional and helpful. They were able to help me figure out what car was going… to work best for me with my lifestyle and budget. And they worked with me to get great financing! I have never had such an easy time purchasing a car. HB Honda is A++++++!Run Chris out of Honda Dealership-I dislike him a lot
by josef1 on 09/13/2008Today I went to look at the Fit and the Element and I was walking an the door and the sales guy Chris cam over this guy had a personality that I've have never seen before He starting me with the used fit inside and started be an my face… with personal gestation like were would you be commuting and win I got outside he shod me a used Element it was park an the lot so he pulled it out and should me all of the features it had and he kept an my face about test driving it I all ready told him that I was shopping and looking at different cars and then he got so rude an my face I ask him nicely about a card and then he took awhile to came back an my face then he ask me for my name so Okay he can say he waited on me. he got personal with me asking me for my phone number and said NO and then to the email and I said no again then he went back and forth for a wile he came back and had me a broacher this guy should change is rude and turn it around do something better-it was like he was taking my order at a restaurant! God Bless him but he is very unlikable and I don't recommend Chris to any one!awful experience

I didn't have much time, so I was very up front about everything and said I wanted the car now and I refuse to pay MSRP or their mark-up. He gladly took me on a test drive and we came back and he… asked me to sit down in his cubicle. So, I ask him if he has a specific car and he said yes, but refused to deal with me or even show me the car. He ran off to the glass room that looked like it had a bar inside and was in there forever. As I got sick of waiting, I got up to leave and he chases me down and tells me to wait and that he has the car. So I grill him a bit and find out the car is in Long Beach. He expected me to pay $2500 mark-up for a car I have not seen in person that would arrive hours after I signed the contract. Screw that!DO NOT BUY

You show up 4 hours later, the sales person and manager have gone home and the night shift manager and staff tell me the deal i am talking about is… unheard of and that it is not possible. [non-permissible content removed] I asked them to pull the documents up from our sit down on the price and they wouldn't. This dealership hasn't been the same in the past couple of years. We were loyal to Norm Reeves in HB, 3 car purchases and all maintenance done here, not any more!Great Purchasing Experience

A salesman by the name of Dustin was extremely helpful, and it seemed that he went out of his way to help us (the consumer). He gave great, friendly service,… and he was not pushy like most car sales people. If I were to purchase another Honda, I would definitely go back to see Dustin at Norm Reeves in Huntington Beach. BTW we purchased a 2013 silver Touring Odyssey, it's a really nice car.Great Dealership and Service!

He was simply awesome, helped out a lot and made the process as quick as possible. Overall it was a great experience buying a 13 Honda Civic… LX! Not only was he… a fun and funny person, he also was honest and could answer every question I had accurately and truthfully. I'd recommend David C even to the CEO of Honda, he was amazing. I dealt mainly with Larry C., who was fantastic, and also interacted with Amit C. (sales) & Allen H. (financing),… all of whom were consummate professionals and extremely friendly. As most people, I've had numerous bad experiences at various dealerships; this was not the case here. They took a lot of time to ensure my mother and myself were satisfied with the purchase. When I purchased the vehicle it was late and the service center was already closed. I went back today to pick up some floor mats and they also filled up my gas tank completely and proved that they truly care about customer satisfaction. Worst purchase experience EVER...
by tsinco on 07/20/2012updated 09/09/2025I leased a 2012 Pilot Touring from Riz (sales person). Upon arriving home with the vehicle, we noticed a small dent above the gas tank door. I immediately returned to the store with the vehicle and Frank (sales mgr) agreed it was easily… missed and willing to work with me. I explained my 1st preference would be to return this car and purchase the same one without a dent if they could get one. I know how hard it was to find this color combo as I searched several days to find it. Frank checked inventory and told me he'd have the identical car arriving at their store in just 2 days. Perfect, we voided my original deal and he promised to allocate the incoming Pilot to me and be in touch. Late the next day I get a call from Riz telling me the new Pilot is not coming to their store afterall. Ouch!!! A huge blow. On to my 2nd preference, which would be to fix the dent on the origianlly purchased Pilot. Frank told me he'd have his head repair guy get on it first thing the next day and make 100% sure it could be fixed as new. I agreed and didn't want to re-purchase until I saw it fixed anyways. Several hours later, I get another call from Riz with horrible news. They sold my Pilot (with the dent) to somebody else that same day!!! I'm left without a car and deal we agreed to. This is a very long story made short. I can't tell you how many times the dropped the ball and became defensive with short memories about ever promising to "make this right and get me in the same car no matter what"!!! Avoid this store and you'll avoid a lot of grief!!! My worst car purchase experience EVER...Impressed with the service

After deciding to test drive the Crv in Huntington Beach we showed up and Wayne was our salesman. I was very impressed how he wasn't the typical "sales guy"… and was very informative and professional. We weren't planning on buying but Wayne gave us great service and Allen helped us with our payments. We will refer any friends and family to norm reeves in hb to go see Wayne! Great Car Buying Experience

Ted was patient and helpful, not at all pushey. Once we decided on the… right car, we made a great deal with Ted and the finance manager without the typical back and forth, "I'll check with the manager" routine. There were no games played here, just straight talk about making a deal that was best for us and one they could live with too. The finance manager, "Mac" was a so helpful in explaining everything thoroughly. While we were going over the paperwork, we purchased splash guards and they installed them in just minutes while we finished signing everything. "Gus" in the service department was very helpful and professional too. Ted has followed up with us twice this week as a courtesy to check on our satisfaction. Everyone we came in contact with at Norm Reeves Honda made us feel welcome and comfortable with no pressure. I would highly recommend seeing "Ted" when considering visiting this dealership.Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you had a great experience with our staff. Jeff was Johnny on the spot from my first inquiry by email on a Sunday night. He called me back within 5 minutes of the email no… pressure at all just good info as I knew nothing about the vehicle. I decide to make an appt the next morning and he really took great care of me with my needs in mind. Financing was great and the sales manager Allen I think took the time to meet with me too. I keep coming back to NRHB, this is my 6th car from them. I must say the service dept is reliable and very fair too, especially Tim R. I contact several dealers via Edmunds who I thought had the specific car I was looking for based on Edmund's inventory data - but I was surprised to find out that data was wrong! Terrence… was very honest, and told me outright he didn't have the V6 I was looking for. Other contacts tried to lure me to visit them and sell me another model, and I was disappointed they would be dishonest and waste my time. I knew exactly the car I wanted, and wasn't going to settle! Terrence went out of his way to provide 5 dealership locations & phone #s who had the car I was looking for based on Honda inventory data. My first call to a dealer in LA found the car - so this was a big success! Many thanks to Terrence for his honesty & assistance, as I might still be searching for my car without it!
