    After visiting almost a dozen Honda dealerships over the past several months, we finally found a dealership with a large inventory and, most importantly, a straightfoward sales rep (David Do) who was interested in helping us out rather than playing games. While we may not have ended up with the absolute lowest price possible, the quality of service and time saved on pointless back-and-forths was worth it. Thanks so much to everyone at Hardin Honda for making our purchase as smooth as possible!

    Hardin had the 2017 Honda Civic Touring white interior with black exterior in stock. The salesman, Matt Carper, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the specific car, its features, etc.

    Darin was very professional and helpful. He made this a very pleasant experience. The finance team and everyone in the sales department were awesome. They made it their priority that I left happy & content with my purchase/lease. I have recommended Hardin to my family & friends. My mom used Hardin Honda for her vehicle purchase/lease because of my experience.

    It was quick and easy. Was told before arrival it would take around an hour and a half and they were spot on with the time frame. Felt like I got taken care of there, absolutely love my new car.

    So so happy with my new car! This was my first time leasing a car and Quentin made the experience so pain free. He listened to what I wanted and found me an awesome Honda Civic in my budget.     The friendly and professional atmosphere....I could tell this was a "family" run business. I ended up chatting with way more people than I was actually dealing with, including the General Manager who was just passing by and introduced herself and we chatted about the history of her family. Felt very nice to be welcomed.

  • Michael Harlin is Top Notch

    When it comes to car buying (and leasing), I'll admit it; I'm a pain in the ass. In the car buying world, there really needs to be something like a TSA pre-check list so dealers know when someone like me is a car-educated, no-nonsense buyer who has done plenty of homework and is immune to dealers' tricks. Over the years, I have perfected a system of car buying (and leasing) to ensure I get the best deal out there. I'm a negotiator and value investor by trade so this is a somewhat pleasurable sport for me and one in which I invest zero energy and emotion. If you need any help, let me know! So, if you succeed in getting me into the dealership, we already have a deal set and I will hold you to it. I won't pay a dollar more and I won't waste any more of my valuable time (or yours). Don't try to change ANYTHING, upsell me or tell me that zero down/driveoffs means that I owe you the first month's payment when I sign. And Kevin Horne in the Finance Department, don't you dare try to tell me that my already agreed upon deal has to include a mandatory 'alarm' system that costs an extra $30 per month which comes to a $1,080 system over the 3 year lease... What alarm costs $1,000?? And certainly don't insult me and then unload your bullshit on me telling me that you don't know if you can remove the alarm from the car or how long that might take. For those who want to know, it didn't take 5 minutes for Kevin to go out with some wire cutters and cut the thing out. Hopefully he didn't cut my brakes too... All of this said, I do appreciate Michael Harlin's hard work and friendly demeanor. Honestly, Mike should feel really good about winning my business because he worked hard to earn it and I value that very much. And again, I'm a pain the ass and never once did Mike's friendly and helpful demeanor sway. Mike was able to get me the best deal on my car, beating out every single dealer in L.A. and Orange County. And yes, I negotiated with every single one of them for this car. Michael is a bright, young and eager professional who aims to please. Mike was always prompt about returning my emails and phonecalls to line up the deal before I stepped foot into the dealership. Once there, I was met warmly and every effort was made by him to meet my demands that I be in and out with the car in 15 minutes (my current record). It ended up taking longer than that but it really was beyond Michael's control. Even after the slightly rocky 'surprises' mentioned above, Mike made sure that the car was washed and waxed and ready to go. With the keys in my hand, he came out to set up the Bluetooth, explained some of the other features in the car and I was on my way. Overall, the highlight of my experience at Hardin Honda was in dealing with Michael Harlin. I'd be happy to do business with him again as he got me the price I wanted and didn't bullshit me....just make sure you deal with someone other than Kevin in the Finance Department...
