Great Experience at Cavenaugh Ford

5 out of 5 starsby J Kelly on 04/28/2025

After looking for some time, we found the Bronco we wanted on the website. Cody W was able to bring it to me that day to test drive. We met him again for a second drive that afternoon and decided to move forward with our purchase. Cody made the experience easy and comfortable. The team was great!

  • Great friendly service

5 out of 5 starsby sharonrye on 06/25/2015

I like the fact that I can just drop off my car in the morning and come and pick it up when I go to lunch I do however have one complaint the last two oil changes my oil monitoring has not been reset so its been sitting at 0% and still is and I don't know how to reset it myself. Still a great job with friendly service.
  • Buyer be prepared....know your credit score and what APR you qualify for

    2.3 out of 5 starsby brin_kerouac on 01/16/2008

The sales manager / F&I guy here will do whatever it takes to rip you off. In my case he lied about my credit score to try and convince me the only way I could buy a vehicle was at 18% APR. What this F&I guy didn't realize was that I knew my credit score.( I ran my credit report the night before.) When I left the dealership I went home an applied for online for financing through Capital One Auto loans and I was instantly appoved for 7% APR. Needless to say I didn't buy the vehicle from this dealership. My word of advice is to not let these people think you are a payment buyer....because if you do they will sell you the payment and try to keep you in the dark about the APR and the total cost of the loan. If you are an educated buyer you may be able to get a good deal here....just make sure you are prepared !

My purchased a ford fusion from this dealership, and the service is horrible. Her car came with the 100,000 mile warranty, she also bought insurance in case one of her tires blew out, it also covered any rim damage. We live about 40 miles from the dealership and asked if their would be any problems with the distance we were. The dealer said "No we will come and pick up the car free of charge if it is unable to be moved" well recently one of her tires had a blow out and we had to call the dealership. They at first said they would call her back about the problem. About two hours later they decided to call back. They said that we would have to pay to get the car towed to the dealership, and the cost would be around 500 dollars. So we requested to speak to higher management, the said we would have to talk to the man that sold us the car, he said he would call back with the dealers number. Right before closing time they decided call back with the mans cell phone number. They gave my mom the number to the car dealers cell phone, we called the number and it ended up being the wrong number. So we called back and got someone at the front desk right at closing time and checked again to see if that was the right number, she gave us the fake number once again. The next day we decided to call out lawyer, and he said to call back one more time and tell them that if they didn't comply with the warranty he would call them. So we called back threatened with the lawyer and they argued about it for about half a hour over the phone, and finally sent the tow truck here. When the tow truck got here he said that the dealership said that she would have the money for him, she got mad called the dealership again, they argued for another 30 minutes and at last my moms car got fixed. Pretty sad considering my mom also had to pay 2,000-4,000 over fair purchase price, don't use these guy's take a drive to another ford dealership.

I am currently looking to buy my first new car and have done alot of research. I came to the dealership with a folder that contained prices from ford.com, truecar.com, and user reviews and ratings. I also knew my credit score and what my apr would be. The sales rep at first didnt seem interested in selling me a car at all until I told him what I did for a living(management). Then I told I'd like to test drive a hybrid but he didn't even make an attempt to let me and even down talked hybrids. I told him we could go in and sit down and talk prices on a fusion se, but I had to tell someone 3 different times before he would sit down and talk to me. I told him that I had already been to another dealer and that I was shopping around, this seemed to enrage because he got extremely defensive and pushy. He kept telling me he could only give me his best offer if I bought the car that day. I finally told him I would not be going home with a car that day that I was shopping and doing my research. He then tried to sell himself, not once caring about what I wanted in a car. He tried to sell me a car on the lot that was nice, but about 4,000 over what I wanted because of additional options. I asked him if he could get a black fusion se 2.5l for me and he said that if he got it from another dealership that he could not offer me the x-plan discount i receive through my work. which the other ford dealer i had spoke with told me wouldnt be a problem. he had in his mind he was going to sell me what he wanted me to have, not what I wanted. Some of the worst customer service I have ever received, he then tried to delay me from leaving because he knew I was leaving to go shop elsewhere. I will buy a Ford Fusion elsewhere where they actually care about the customer and what the customer wants.

Tim S. assisted me with the purchase of my 2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium Hatchback in Blue Candy. From the initial phone call to the delivery of the vehicle to Owasso, Oklahoma, Tim S. was exceptionally professional, courteous, efficient, accommodating, informative, and friendly. He made our unusual over-the-phone bank assisted purchase more than easy. I would recommend him to anyone in the Oklahoma/Arkansas area and trust him with any long distance purchases in the future. Thanks again!
