  • Car World- so disappointing. *REVISED*

    4 out of 5 starsby tanyab18 on 10/17/2018

**UPDATE: The management staff at Car World reached out to us and apologized for the lack of communication. They took the Tiguan, gave us a loaner, and worked tirelessly to fix all the issues we had. We dealt with the owner, Mikhail, who was great. We got the car back today, and it seems like we’re in the clear. Thank you to Mikhail and Tom for taking the time to right the situation.** What a disappointment! Went to test drive a VW Tiguan, then came back a few days later to purchase. Everything seemed on the up-and-up, loved the car. Then, less than a week later, it dies on the side of the road. Car World has us tow the car- at OUR expense- to THEIR mechanic. Big mistake. How long should it take to peek at a car and see what's wrong with it? In my experience with fleet trucks, even if a place is slammed, it should only take 3 days, max. This car was at the mechanic long enough to run out the 15-day lemon law limit. Cracked transmission mount, starter almost out... we deal with the mechanic, but call Car World 4, 5, 6 times... and have never heard one peep back. Then the roof lining for the sunroof starts sagging, the visor light site is leaking... still no call back. So, it's time for social media! Honestly, I just want them to take this stupid car back and give me my money. It's so disheartening to deal with crooked, shady people.

NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Written by Kat_H.B. on 09/07/18 03:15:31 PM PDT Recommend this dealer? Yes We had been discussing purchasing several cars and had been researching what we were interested and where we would find all three(3) vehicles at the same dealership. We had been seriously looking certain used vehicles. Om August 31, 2018 my husband was off because we were having the windshield replaced on the only running vehicle we had. I found the three (3) vehicles that we were contemplating on purchasing and found that CARWORLD in TUCSON just happened to have them for sale. I telephoned and spoke to SEGIO PUGNOLI and explained to him what we were wanting to do and inquired if we would be able to negotiate the price since we would not be financing any of them. He told me I have to speak to DANNY CURIEL, who he transferred me to and again I recapped what are plans were and that three (3) vehicles were a definite and possibly a fourth (4), if the negotiation went the correct direction. Danny explained that we would have to come down and TEST DRIVE the vehicles and decide if were seriously interested in the ones we had chosen. Knowing full well that he was chuckling to himself that some crazy lady wanted purchase three (3) vehicles and maybe a fourth (4) and we would pay CASH. I told him if the SAFELITE AUTO GLASS came early enough than we would be down this evening if not first thing Saturday morning. We were able to pick up our son and arrived at CARWORLD around 445PM. We introduced ourselves and jaws almost hit the floor. Sergio was busy finishing up with other customers, so Danny asked Tom B to starting helping us. Again, there was blank look on Tom B face when I pulled all the paperwork for the three (3) vehicles were seriously interested in including what they were listed in KELLY BLUE BOOK. The 2010 CHEVY IMPALA had two (2) rear flat tires and the AIRBAG SYSTEM LIGHT CAME ON. The 2011 GMC TERRAIN needed to be jumped started. Since it was getting near closing time Danny assured me that the three (3) vehicles would be taken off the inventory and that we should return Saturday morning around 10AM-1030AM to test drive vehicles and do all the paperwork and give them time to check out the tires on the 2010 Chevy Impala, jump start the 2011 GMC Terrain and bring the 2008 Jeep Liberty. My husband test drove the GMC TERRAIN and the JEEP LIBERTY and then our son arrived and took the IMPALA for a test drive. While we waited for TOM K to print out all the paperwork for the three different vehicles, the took the IMPALA to a mechanic to reset the AIRBAG SYSTEM. Since, we were unable to negotiate a dollar amount that would have allowed us to purchase the fourth vehicle we were interested in 2003 CHEVY SILVERADO 2500 4X4. Our son return on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 to make sure all the paperwork had gone through, so he could get the 2010 IMPALA emission test. I called Danny and explained that the battery on the GMC TERRAIN was definitely dead and he said he would order a new one for us. The TIRE PRESSURE SYSTEM light was on all the time on the IMPALA, so they had to replace them today at no cost to us and my son gave back the spare keys they gave him for the IMPALA, that were really for a FORD and they gave him the headsets for GMC TERRAIN and the new battery. The customer service we received while we were at CARWORLD was courteous and they made sure that everything was moving along smoothly on the sale of the three (3) vehicles. Our only regret was that we were unable to make a deal where we could of purchase the fourth vehicle, but that was not in the cards. The only thing I could suggest is to get a "SIGN" for the restroom that reads "PLEASE REMEMBER TO PUT THE SEAT DOWN on the TOILET". I know that there are only "MALE" employees that work at the CARWORLD, but the do occasionally have WOMAN customers, and if they want to make BROWNIE PPOINTS, make sure the women do not have to put the seat down. The staff /employees at CARWORLD TUCSON deserve kudos for the courteous and efficient customer service. And there attentiveness to the customer to make sure that they are comfortable and being helped. And, yes they finally did believe us when I wrote three (3) separate checks for each vehicle we purchased, 2008 JEEP LIBERTY, 2010 CHEVY IMPALA LTZ and 2011 GMC TERRAIN SLT-1.Again, we would like to thank everyone at CARWORLD OF TUCSON. Sincerely,Kat Hoffman-Buchele

  • Bought my car

5 out of 5 starsby MakaylaMerrell on 07/07/2018

I worked with both Tom’s (one in finance and the other in sales) at the dealership, they were both great! I didn’t feel pressured or like I was being ripped off. They were able to answer all my questions and really took the time to go through everything with me. I purchased a car here the other day and it has been wonderful so far! They got me a car with low miles and showed me the car fax for it! Everyone that worked there were extremely nice and helpful during my visit. Thanks for everything! Definitely a great place to go if you want a used car in great condition!
