Great selection with professional service

Right Toyota was the only dealership in town that had the car I was looking for. Hayden Cosgrove was very helpful and personable, ensuring that I walked away with the best option for me. My paperwork was handled efficiently and I did not feel pressured to include additional extended warranty packages. This was my first time purchasing a new vehicle from a dealership and the overall experience was great.

    Poor communication! Overall, this dealer is a disappointment. The sales process went smoothly as they are eager to sell you a new vehicle but once that’s done, it’s good riddance. This dealer falls short in my expectations. Service, Parts as well as the Management. I regret my purchase!

  • Over 4 hour wait for a simple oil change

    I waited over four hours for an oil change. I was never told that there would be a long wait. My time from work is just a valuable as Right Toyota’s time. Obviously, Right Toyota has so much business they don’t need my friends or families’ service or purchase business !

  • Sales Failure

    My complete review from Yelp on 03/28/2023: I brought my car in for servicing as prompted by Right Toyota. But 2 days earlier I came in to buy a car for my Daughter. To make a long story short, the sales manager was very dismissive with me, as he was not happy with the way I was negotiating for a Toyota Supra. He refused to participate in the negotiations, leaving me no other choice but to continue to tell him what I wanted to pay. At my 2nd offer he got up with an aggressive attitude and said we were done and stalked off. This was after I told him that we were long time customers, at least 20 years and have purchased several cars with Right Toyota. That didn't seem to matter, as the negotiations were stopped cold. He made no attempt to maybe put me in another car. So I left and ended up purchasing a KIA EV6, about the same price point of the Supra I test drove. I was amazed how it was so easy for him to not only lose a sale, but lose a long time customer as well. I called the same day and spoke with the Store manager, he didn't seem to care. When I came in for my servicing I spoke with another store manager, I think his name was Zach. He said he would look into it and offered a verbal apology, and said he would find out what happened and get back to me. He hasn't as of yet. So I ask you, who is reading this, Is this how you train your management crew, to treat long time customers with disdain and aggression? I would like a formal written apology, not that I expect that to be forthcoming. Update, a month later: About a month ago, I sent a message to Matt W - CR Mgr.(Who responded to my review, (Rather weakly, I might add) and expressed my disappointment as to how, being a long time customer, I was treated at Right Toyota (No one should be treated as I was, long time customer or no)! and requested a formal written apology from the Sales Manager that was so dismissive and aggressive with me. Well, I did I not get a letter of apology, I also never received a follow up call from Matt W. - CR Mgr. Thus proving to me that they really don't care about losing me as a customer. Throughout my long history I must've purchased/leased at least 1/2 dozen cars from Right Toyota. I guess they felt they had enough customers and chose to ignore me. Update: You can read Matt W's response to me on Yelp For reasons unknown,Yelp didn't post my response to him, so I shall summarize: As far as not deserving a formal written apology, the Sales Manager, knowing I was a long time customer and still disrespecting and being very aggressive, rude and short with me for the crime of negotiating for the best possible price. That is deserving of a formal written apology. Gauging my interest and thinking I misled them by offering 200.00 a month? (Matt W CS Mgr doesn't know this as he was absent during that short sales failure). in reality, I offered the monthly I am currently paying for my Camry (leased to me by Right Toyota), which is about $450.00 a month. We all got a good chuckle at that. When the sales manager said I was not serious, I replied, "Sure, I am! If you agreed to my offer, I would take two! more chuckles. if my offer was not appreciated, too bad, that is their job, it's up to them to overcome and close the deal, not standing up and and proclaiming that we are done in a very snarky tone and then stalking off in a huff! Me thinks better, and continuous training would fix that! And finally, when Matt W CR Manager admitted to me in the attached response that they matched their attitude to match mine. That, my dear readers, is extremely petty, in both action, and the fact that he admitted it to me. Matt W CR Mgr , in his response to my review shows a perfect example of being gaslighted (not accepting any responsibility on him or Right Toyota but instead putting the blame squarely on my shoulders). It's too bad that Matt W CR Mgr didn't think I was worthy of a formal apology letter. It's very telling, it tells me that he was taking the side of the sales manager (strange, as he was not present during that short time I spent with him). instead of a very good customer that has always made timely payments for the 20 some years of my business with Right Toyota, either that or he was engaged in a Power trip with me. Probably both.
    • Standing by my prior response, Paul, formal written apologies are only written when there is something to apologize for. We asked to gauge your level of interest before driving a showroom sports car, we felt misled as you offered us $200 per month to buy the vehicle after driving it. The Supra is a specialty vehicle which is very difficult to sell when they have more than 10 miles or so on the odometer. We matched our attitude with yours. We wish you the best with your Kia.     Great service, every time I bring my Tundra in they take care of any issues in a prompt and timely manner. I highly recommend this dealership. I purchased my 2019 Tundra after many months of searching for a truck at this dealership as they had the best deal nationwide.

    Good service, easy to schedule, plenty of waiting area(s). Improvement(s): offer free snacks (ex. Honda, Chevrolet and Lexus dealers). Wash the vehicles after servicing as a courtesy, similar to other dealerships.

  • Something's very WRONG about Right Toyota!

    1. I drove 3 hours to test drive and buy a car (2019 Toyota Highlander Hybrid 5TDJGRFH0KS076187, Stock 00991296). Jake Schmidt and Joe (Brett) who assured me it was ready for me...these two NEVER presented themselves once I arrived at the dealership, even though I spoke to Jake all the way during my drive. A young guy named Austin was to close the deal...hmmm, why...? 2. I arrive at dealership, test drove it and ready to write the check. I wasn't born yesterday, the $1295 window tinting/clearcoat dealer add-on is bogus...we all know it. Their list price at first was presented as $43k+ instead of the $30,742 as advertised (which is still online at Edmunds.com, by the way) 3. Had to ask 3 times for the detailed list of all the title, taxes and fees for out-the-door price. Their figure amounted to around $4000 extra, which is crazy, so when I gave them MY out-the-door price, Alex (who joined the party with Austin) had to go talk to someone... 4. Upon Alex & Austin's return, it's suddenly: Sorry, Victoria, somebody else test drove it and said yes before you. Really? How? I asked for proof of this even though I never saw those people materialize, nor did anybody come running outside to stop ME from test driving and handling their vehicle (no salesman, nobody). There was never any SOLD or HOLD sign on the car...like other dealerships do. Interesting, right? car was parked next to my car, then suddenly disappeared when i didn't agree to $36,6k+ number 🤨🤔 5. 1.5 hrs. after my arrival the car was driven off the lot with a temporary tag and "home delivered" (so I was told) because someone had to get their cashier's check before the bank/credit union closed (ok, sure, it's Saturday) and a there's a baby at home, etc. All this is possible and can be true, and if I didn't "win" today, so be it. 6. The more I analyzed the verbal and non-verbal cues of the "players" of the "game" on my 3 hour drive home, the more this has Bait & Switch stench all over it! If the new owner got the smoking deal at $30,742 as advertised (I DOUBT IT!) and didn't get soaked on their trade (what I was offered for my Highlander was laughable) or crazy-high financing terms, then bravo to him/them. Perhaps I dodged a bullet. I know I don't like my time wasted, and I can walk away knowing the BEST car is still out there, and I'll find it--FROM A REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP--without any of today's shenanigans. Caveat Emptor, people. Caveat Emptor!
    • VJ, we apologize for your difficult experience. Just wanted to clear a few things up. Every pre-owned vehicle is advertised with the $1,295 Tint/1 Armor package on the Right Toyota website. The tax alone on a $30k vehicle is around $2400, so $4k total above the advertised price sound correct and is not a shocking amount. We are sorry your had such a long drive to see the vehicle, but we will sell our inventory to the first qualified buyer ready to purchase. Not every customer pays with a cashier's check and we do spot deliver on approved credit.

    The service advisor seemed irritated that I didn’t know where my late father bought his 4Runner. Then tried to hard sell me service plan. Tried to sell me a service plan again when I came to pick up my vehicle. Did not go over any of my paperwork or inspection. Cashier was very pleasant.

    Easy to schedule appointment. Respectful of my time. I was told it would be an hour and my car was ready in an hour. My last service (in another state) took 4 hours, but I was never told it was possible that it would take anywhere nearly that long. I really appreciate that Right was respectful of my time.

    Tiffany Smart and the sales team worked really hard to get the numbers where I needed them without any high pressure tactics at all. Once the numbers were agreeable, the finance department took almost no time to get the contract in order. I will recommend Right Toyota to friends and family in the future.
