If I could, I would give them a zero star review. They will do and say anything to make a sale. I purchased a new car in April with Bob Cross over the phone. When I went to pick up the car, a random person handed me the keys and then just walked away. A refund check that was promised by the sales person never surfaced. The worst car dealership experience I have ever had! I recently purchased a BMW in Portland and I throughly enjoyed the process working with the respectable sales people there. I will stick with BMW as they clearly have much better business ethics.

  • Bad attitude and lack of professionalism

I inquired about price for a used E350. Bryan Ballard, Sales Consultant, replied to my inquiry. In his reply, he did not provide what I asked for. In his reply, you can clearly see that he had attitude and lack of professionalism. I will not buy any vehicle from this person or dealership.

  • Arrowhead Mercedes Just Feels Right

    5 out of 5 starsby darlene16 on 10/20/2015

We love Mercedes of Arrowhead, just feels right when you walk through the door compared to other dealerships. We had been looking at cars all day and finally decided to go back to Brian who we purchased our other car from at Mercedes and the minute we walked through the door it felt right and we knew we would be purchasing another Mercedes that day and after driving the car, it is hands down outshines the other brands. More power, more control, solid car, and outstanding customer service.

Looked all over and finally found a beautiful 2014 triple black E350 on their website. Met at the dealership, went for test drive and knew it was the car to have. Sales person knew the car inside out, and pointed out all the features. Negotiated a fair deal and the car was mine.

  • My WORST Experience!!!!

My husband now keeps ribbing me that I should have listened to him and not done business with this dealeship and he is absolutely right. The dealership and esp Mr. Jeff Lane is one of the most kaniving and dishonest person I have ever come across. He gets you in the door and tells you he can get you a deal that is too good. I was a fool not to realise that if it is too good its probably not true. Then he states that he can get you additional discounts because of his 'connections'. Eventually he convinces you and then when you are ready to sign the paperwork you realize that you are $10,000 more than what you had agreed on and he justifies it as saying its the additinal accessories-which I did not want in the first place and was supposed to be a part of the initial deal. By then we were so exhausted that we wanted to just get out of there and not see that man's face again. I will never want to buy from that dealership or ever have to deal with that man again!!!!!

  • New SLK Purchase

Michael R, by far, is the best sales rep we have encountered. We came to the dealership initially to look at the 2013 SLKs. He was the first to greet us and, right away, we were impressed with his demeanor. He was professional, knowledgeable and patient in providing information on every aspect of the SLK. Additionally, we were impressed with the honesty of everyone at the dealership, and their willingness to ensure that we understood all financial costs associated with the vehicle. It was truly a deal that we could not refuse. If we ever decided to purchase another Mercedes, Arrowhead would be where we go. We would, without hesitation, refer them to all of our friends and family. They made our car buying experience a pleasant one and continue to offer follow-up services whenever we visit the dealership. Even after purchasing the car, Michael continues to show concern, provide his expertise and professionalis to ensure that we are totally satisfied customers.

I recently purchased a used MB E350 Bluetec from Phoenix Motor Company. I have purchased many great cars in my life, including multiple MB products. Honestly, I view buying a car much like I view a dental appointment, so my expectation of this transaction was marginal at best. My initial contact with the dealership was with Tino F. Tino is a true Gentleman who communicated effectively and answered questions directly. His knowledge of the product was exceptional - but more importantly, Tino is a standup guy. I will comfortably recommend Tino to friends and family for future purchases.
  • Every dealership should be like Arrowhead Mercedes

I came to Arrowhead Mercedes-Benz from Flagstaff taking a chance and the experience was like none I have had before. My sales representative was the real deal. Very professional, friendly, energetic, patient and customer driven. I came in to purchase a used ML350 sight unseen. The vehicle was just traded in and there wasn't any photos of it yet. Before coming in I spoke with him on the phone and he assured me the car was spotless, beautiful and well worth the drive. After meeting up, I determined that I made the right choice. For once, I felt like I was not being lied to or taken advantage of. Everyone there listened to all of my concerns and demands, and was honest in their responses and tried as much as possible to ensure I was satisfied. I love my ML350. The salesman was also very kind to my teenager who I dragged with me. They are very knowledgeable and are able to accurately answer all questions I had. I think every dealership should be like Arrowhead Mercedes, and would so recommend them to anyone interested in one of these awesome vehicles.

My wife's bucket list included a Mercedes for our next car. I promised her the next would be one and I contacted Jeff Lane. He told me about an SUV that had been involved in the Phoenix Open and there would be a discount. My wife and I drove in and he showed us two. She chose the Blue Tech Diesel and we sat down to discuss some of the extra's and he gave us a very reasonable quote and trade-in value. As promided the next morning the vehicle was delivered exactly as promised. Jeff introduced us to Chris a service rep and between Jeff and Bob Cross sent us out with one of the best vehicle buying experience ever. I am 81 years old and have bought 14 new cars, trucks and suv's and by far this was not only the easiest, but everything came together as Jeff had promised. I felt Jeff and Bob were outstanding.

I recently purchased a vehicle from MB Arrowhead. The manager introduced me to Gary Kelly, our sales representative. Gary was very professional, efficient with my time, and very knowledgeable about Mercedes Benz in general and about the ML350 in particular. Gary listened to me regarding the features that I was wanting and found the perfect one. The paperwork process was also efficient. In fact, everyone was professional and friendy. I will definitely continue shopping here. This is my 5th vehicle purchased or leased from this dealership. The people here are why I continue to come back!

I would like to let as many people as possible know that this dealership is fantastic to work with. I grew up in a family with my father being in banking. His specialty was car loans. Every dealer in town knew me. I never bought a car with any discussion of price. I was treated as if I was family. Last Saturday my father and I drove down from Flagstaff to Mercedes of Elmbrook to look at a GL that I found on the internet. From the time I walked in I felt like they knew me and treated me fantastic. The vehilce I was interested in I didn't buy. I ended buying another one they had on the lot. When it came time to negotiate on price we didn't have to. The price they gave me for trade and what they sold their vehicle for was more than fair. Needless to say I will defintely come back for my next vehcile purcahse and tell everyone I know how great Arrowhead was to deal with. I hope everyone has the oppurtuntiy to expierence what I did at Mercedes of Arrowhead.

When we arrived at the dealer, Steve came out to greet us and from the beginning he was very knowledgeable about the auto we were interested in. He did not try to show or sell us another vehicle. He new from the start we were there for the GLK350. My husband had just had knee surgery about 4 weeks prior to our visit, so he could not walk alot. Steve took me on a test drive, then when we came back he took my husband for a ride in the car. When we went inside to complete our purchase and do the paper work, Steve made sure that my husband was comfortable and periodically checked on us to make sure there was nothing further we needed. Steve is an exceptional Sales Person. We have already recommended people to come to this dealership.

In early May, 2012 I traded a S 400 Hybred for a 2012 S350 Blu Tec. My sales person was Mr Robert Bauer, whom I'm very happy to say, called me about the availability of the new car. I am completely happy and satisfied with each step of the purchase process. Arrowhead is the dealorship for me.

We have bought five Mercedes Sprinters for our fleet and worked with Gary Kelly for the purchase of each one. Gary went out of his way to find us the van we were looking for at a price we could work with. We will definitely be contacting him for any future purchases.
  • Beware of this dealership!

I picked up what I thought was a ‘new’ 2011 GL450 from the dealership in Oct 2011. I am only writing this now because even after trying to get the issue sorted out with them for more than 6 months it is still not resolved and clearly the company doesn’t wish to resolve it. I contacted Jeff Lane of Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead through the Edmunds online service for new a car purchase (GL 450) and it appeared that they had the specifications that I was looking for. At the initial discussion; I was told that the car was at the sister dealership (Phoenix Motor Company) and that they were willing to bring it down for me. When I test drove the vehicle and enquired about the 500 plus miles on the vehicle; I was told that it was built in December 2010 and in the 10 months that had lapsed it was test driven by several potential customers (Intuitively, this made sense as they said that each test drive would put 10-15miles and since the car was in the dealership for 10 months the miles would translate to about 3-4 test drives a month). I picked up the car and a 2 months later got a service warning and when I called the dealership they said that the odometer should have been reset before it was sold and instructed me to bring it in. Since I lived closer to another Mercedes dealership; I took it in and told them what I was told by Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead. To my surprise they informed me that the car has been on the road since December 2010 and was still registered to the dealership in California. When I called the dealership they told me that I had purchased a ‘golf car’ ( I didn’t know what that meant then but these are cars that are used for transportation in golf tournaments) and that I should have known that. When I told them that this was never disclosed to me; they were rude and obnoxious about that and almost called me a liar. Appalled by the sudden change in attitude; I approached Jim Astuno who was the general manager there. He further supported Jeff and dragged other sales members into the conversation and I have never felt more humiliated or insulted before. I eventually told them that although I found the way they conducted their business unethical and misleading, I was happy with the car and all I wanted was the additional I-year of warranty since the car’s original warranty had started in Dec 2010. They initially agreed but dragged their feet and eventually refused to do that. My personal opinion is that the team there tries to get your business using any means possible and after that they really don’t care. I hoped that this was a one-time issue but after talking to other colleagues who have picked up their cars there-they tell me that they will never return back. I wish I had known that before I approached Jeff Lane initially. I have purchased 4 other Mercedes in the past from other dealers and have had impeccable service. This company from top down has an unacceptable ethical standard that borders on a deliberate effort to defraud their customers.
    • Mr. Kundranda purchased his 2011 Mercedes-Benz GL 450 on October 1, 2011; Mercedes-Benz was a sponsor of the Waste Management Golf Tournament, and this was one of over 160 new cars that had been advertised, displayed and driven during the Golf Tournament in Scottsdale in late January of 2011. A little history will help comprehend the current situation. Mr. Kundranda’s brother in law had previously (September 23rd) purchased a new car from Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead just like the GL Mr. Kundranda bought. This car had also been driven during the Waste Management Golf Tournament. Apparently, Mr. Kundranda found out from his brother-in-law what a great deal his brother-in-law got at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead, and he contacted us to inquire about the same type of deal. Because these cars had been driven during the golf tournament, they were offered for sale at a deeply discounted price; the cars, although they were new, had accumulated some miles during the golf tournament and some of the warranty period had passed. (The factory discounts the car because of this and their discount is passed to the customer.) Mr. Kundranda told us that he had purchased his previous Mercedes-Benz from Schumacher but they did not have any “golf cars” left. We informed him that we had just one left and it was at our Phoenix Motor Company store. Our Internet salesman, Joe Ramirez, was able to get the car from Phoenix Motor Company and have it delivered to our Arrowhead store to show Mr. Kundranda. At that time, Joe showed the vehicle to Mr. Kundranda which also included showing the mileage that had accrued on the car, roughly 600 miles. Having seen the car, Mr. Kundranda also inquired about a 2012 with no miles on it and with the warranty not having been started. When he was shown a 2012 that was similarly equipped, with a price of $5-6,000 more than the 2011 “golf car,” he turned down the 2012 as it was more money than he wanted to spend. Mr. Kundranda knew he was getting a big discount because it was clear that it had been driven, displayed and advertised during the Waste Management Golf Tournament just like the one his brother-in-law bought. After Mr. Kundranda took delivery of the car, he brought the car back and told our salesman, Jeff Lane, that the car was dirty upon delivery; this was two days later, and that the rear mat had a crease and he thought that it must have been creased from the golfer who was driving the car and would we repair this mat. The mat was steam cleaned and the crease was lifted; he also requested another detail; the car was again detailed for him. He knew he was getting a big discount because it was a car that was driven, displayed and advertised during the Waste Management Golf Tournament and because it had accumulated some extra mileage and the factory warranty was in effect since it was brought to Arizona for this purpose. It is our contention that we offered Mr. Kundranda a very special discount for the purchase of this car. We will honor his existing warranty and service his car at either of our two dealerships. In addition, I offered Mr. Kundranda the following proposal: If he would buy a three-year extended warranty from Mercedes-Benz that I would pay one-third of the cost. He declined the offered proposal. Sincerely, Jim Astuno General Manager

The experience was excellent and I have no reservations given the people I dealt with. You don't recommend a place to friends where your not sure they will be happy. No one swoops down on you like a bird of prey. They are congenial and respectful of your time and choices.

Our overall experience selecting a Mercedes Benz CPO GLK 350 totally exceeded our expectations. Their staff was very professioal, very friendly and has excellent communication skills. We were very comfortable talking with them over the pricing and financing of the Mercedes. Their staff has superior knowledge of the GLK equipment, value added packages and safety features. We also established excellent two-way communication in deciding which Mercedes we would be most comfortable in. They also delivered the GLK as promised and the GLK was immaculate. We were in the BMW family for over 10 years and after our experiences at Mercedes Benz of Arrowhead we are very pleased and planning on driving from Carefree to have the GLK serviced at Mercedes Benz of Arrowhead.

I bought a certified pre-owned 2010 E350 from this dealership last month . Bryant P is the sales person that I worked with and he was great. He was friendly, professional, and most importantly, let the car sell itself. When I came to pick up the car, I found it in spotless condition complete. Bryant explained each feature in detail, helped me set up the Bluetooth for my phone and away I went. Todd was the business manager who finalized the transaction and again I was met with excellence. Todd facilitated the financing and registration process with ease. Overall, my car buying experience exceeded my every expectation. As a side note, I had my previous car, a 1998 E320 serviced here since I bought it in 2007 and I have always had a positive experience. I look forward to my continued relationship with this dealership.

From beginning to end, my wife and I were treated with the utmost respect. We had arrived late in the afternoon after visiting another MB dealer. I explained what I was looking for and also explained the run around I just received at the other dealer, so I wasn't very pleasant. But the salesman took his time, explained the various models, price points and had someone look at my 2003 e320 for trade. After some time we were purchasing a 2012 E350, an absolute beauty. We could not be happier. From sales to financing we couldnt of had a better experience. I look forward to our next purchase.
