Worst Experience Ever
by Len Kelly on 01/29/2025First experience ever buying my own vehicle was absolutely ruined by this dealership. I traded in my truck for a Tacoma TRD Off Road and when driving it home the transmission skipped. Brought it back the following Monday and they informed… me that it will need a transmission replacement (good thing they missed that in the inspection). Waited a week and a half and still no news. Drove here today hoping they would make it right, but everything they showed me was above the price i paid for the original tacoma so they “couldnt make it work” Here i am leaving with my Ford again today with a cancelled contract and sour taste in my mouth. I highly suggest to ANYONE that is in the market for a used vehicle steer VERY CLEAR of Serra Toyota. They WILL screw you over.My salesperson scammed me
by aloganbham on 07/13/2022I can honestly say that this was the worst experience I have had with a car dealership. I was less of a customer and more of a mark to the salesperson. I have been conned. These are not good people. I would like to just accept it as how… the car business is, but I cannot. At the level of deception I experienced, I can only describe the business practices of Serra Toyota as a scam. To be specific, my salesperson was Kelsey Layton. I found that everything he said eventually turned out to be a lie. I was assured that if I put 1000 down I could get the new vehicle I wanted in 2 months. One month later, he tells me he cannot get it for me. He tries to get me to buy one I don't want for 10,000 more. I try to negotiate. He bumps the price up 5,000 more after not answering his phone for a few days. We negotiate it down and he sends me a sheet to sign in agreement. The sheet he sends me is for a cheaper vehicle than what we were negotiating on. They refuse to refund the original 1,000.Great customer service

We finally found our 4-Runner with the XP Predator package at Serra Toyota in Alabama! I contacted Hunter online and he found the exact 4-Runner we wanted and… patiently walked us through the entire process of buying an auto out of state. It was the smoothest auto purchase and finance we have ever experienced. Hunter was truly a pro and went over and above to make this an enjoyable process (which is what buying a new car should be but often is not) Serra Toyota provided an amazing car buying experience from sales, to finance and finally the delivery of our new 4-Runner to our home in California. Just in time for the holidays and we love it! Thank you Hunter and Serra Toyota!HIGHLY RECOMMEND SERRA TOYOTA in Center Point

Quinton, our wonder salesman, kept us updated the whole way through the process and did everything he could to get us the best… deal. He worked hard to get me a good deal on a very reliable car and was successful. I would recommend him… and this dealership to anyone! Thanks again Andrew and Serra Toyota crew, you gave execellent service and I am grateful!They are full of BS!
by MelodyB on 03/24/2017Went to Serra last year bc my husband had to have a reliable vehicle. Got financed through a program called CAC bc we are still trying to rebuild our credit. Payments are just shy of $500.00 a month. Never missed a payment nor been late.… Got a call a few months ago and was told that they had a Mustang (which is what my husband originally wanted) that they COULD get us in, we just kept saying no thanks. They called BOTH of us EVERY week for several weeks about that Mustang. We finally give in thinking ok, they really can get us in this car! Drive 45 minutes to get there, test drove the car THEN get told they can't put us in it! A few weeks ago I get a generic email from the finance manager saying that they can refinance our car and get us a lower payment OR upgrade to a NEW vehicle. I finally decided to call so we could get REFINANCED. After giving our salesman some information and him trying to put us in a NEW car, I get a message saying they can't refinance my car ALL THEY CAN DO IS PUT US IN A NEW VEHICLE! I called today and left a message with the finance manager, Larry which I highly doubt I will get a call back. They pull you in with BS then try to put you in something you don't want, when you tell them you're not interested in what THEY want to put you in its all of a sudden "Oh, we can't do anything for you"! I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! I'm sure this review will be deleted bc they don't want their little scheme to be made public!Great Sales Experience!!

Fantastic place to buy a new Toyota
by Bruce35160 on 01/13/2016I first connected to the dealership online using text and then phone. Keith Clements was the sales person to call me. I have been burned at other dealerships before so I can be testy to deal with. Keith is a natural born people-person that… knows the art of treating people with respect and honesty. It shows in his dealings with you. I like Keith as a sales person but it would even be nicer if he was in a position to teach others that same art of the deal. The art of dealing with customers is becoming a lost art in America. Serra Toyota is fortunate to have Keith there. I'm sure there are other good folks there as well. Chris the sales manager seemed down to earth and honest. Great job to whoever hired these two, you have a nick for picking talent. I would also mention the F&I process was hassle free. In the end I got the car I wanted at a price and deal I could live with. Thanks Serra Toyota!sales

I wish I'd known a year ago to visit Morgan at Serra Toyota! He didn't try to sell me anything on the… car I didn't want like so many dealers. He was very forthright and always helpful and courteous. He has even contacted me since my purchase just to see if I had any questions about how anything works on the car. I can't believe I waited so long to come in and will definitely be back to see him when it is time for my daughter's car. His honesty went a long way with me. Serra is really lucky to have him!One of the best ever!!!

Mr. D. believed in me even when I didn't and he worked so very hard to make sure that I got what I wanted 100%. Mr. D. was very friendly and took my unique case very seriously and… personally, and he made sure I got what I wanted no matter what the circumstance!! My daughter, in her 2nd year of college, totalled her car out a couple of weeks ago and she looked all over for the perfect car to replace… her heap of crushed metal. When she saw the 2013 Scion, she took it for a test drive at a dealer close to home in Mississippi and called me and said that's the car I want mom. She tried to do some first time car dealing with the Mississippi dealer, but the dealer wouldn't take her seriously, probably because of her age. I did a little surfing on the internet and luckily ended up talking to Brett Hickman at Serra Toyota in Birmingham. I ended up getting the best deal in Birmingham with the lifetime powertrain warranty to boot and got the car delivered to me, and I never had to leave my house!! Brett H. was awesome, worked with me every way possible and delivered my daughter an absolutely gorgeous white Scion with moonroof, sunroof, hatchback - (you should see how much room is in that car). She and I both were thrilled with the car and I appreciated the way Brett went out of his way to get this deal finalized. In addition, the Scion has top ratings for safety which sealed the deal for me since my daughter had just recently had an accident. I will definitely do business with Serra Toyota of Birmingham again and I highly recommend Brett and Serra Toyota to my friends and family. Woohoo!!Couldn't be happier!! TWInterSatisfied Customer

He picked me up at the rental car agency when the insurance was settled, took me to Serra Toyota and helped me get in… exactly what I wanted. I went with one particular "used" car in mind, but it was being sold as I talked to my salesman Ron B. We walked… and talked but nothing ever captured my attention. Before I left, I wanted to walk over and just look at the new cars and behold I found a wonderful 2013 Toyota Corolla. I could go on and on about Ron and how easy he made buying a car that day. I would not only recommend Serra, but I highly recommend Ron B. as your salesman. Great Job Ron and best wishes!!!
