    The sales team at Habberstad are friendly, well versed in the new Countryman features and not pushy at all. Charlie and Earl gave me a fair price on my 2018 trade and I could not be happier with my purchase of the 2025 Countryman. ,

  • End of the month not always the best time to buy

    Yes, they want to push as many cars out the door at the end of the month for their commissions, etc., and will give you marginally better prices, but they then have less time to properly prep the car for you. Don't go in on the last day of the month! We bought used and found some stuff that was not properly cleaned and the navigation system is full of the old owners' addresses (including their home address - perhaps the old owner shouldn't use an old registration card as a bookmark in the owners manual and then leave it behind - talking to you, Chris in Greenport).

  • On a snowy day

    Snowy weather and I was greeted with a smile and asked how the drive over was. Service was great, was offered a loaner but we all decided since they could work on the car right away to wait. All done, everything was explained and I was even given a 50 dollar coupon off the service I requested. Score!

    I just purchased my second Mini from Habberstad in Huntington Sation. Megan was super helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and what she didn’t know she found out right away. I didn’t feel pressured at all (like other dealers) and she made me feel very comfortable with her and the whole experience. I had a few little issues that she really bent over backwards to help me with, and everything turned out perfectly! Love that girl and my Mini!

    This was my second Mini and I did t even consider going anywhere else. Unlike other car sales people that I have dealt with in the past, Mark Wyatt was warm and personable. He was patient and a pleasure to deal with. Amanda Tully also took the time to explain the extended warrantee plans and was not pushy. The service department had also exceeded my expectations with my last mini and I feel confident that I'll have the same experience with this one.

    Professional and courteous from start to finish, when my salesperson was off, another person stepped in to help and when I ran into one problem after another on my end, they were patient and understanding. I HATE car salesmen ...almost always sleazy and dishonest but not at this dealership! Everyone was so nice from the front desk to Delivery! Not to mention putting up with three girls watching the disney channel and spilling water multiple times! Love this car !!!

    We all dread getting a new car, however Mark at Habberstad and Jared made the whole experience completely transparent and provided very detailed information. There was no pressure or gimmicks and spent time answering all my questions and looking for what I wanted. I would recommend everyone taking their business to them.

  • Best car buying experience ever

    Mark was knowledgeable and friendly, and there was absolutely no sales pressure. We negotiated a fair sales price and trade in quickly and there were none of the usual games car dealers play (like when they say they have to discuss the price with their manager and they keep you waiting for hours, or you have to walk out and then they call you.) I've purchased several cars in the last ten years and this was by far the best car buying experience ever. I will recommend Mini (and Mark in particular) to everyone who will listen. Also, the car is AWESOME - there's no other word for it. We love it!

    My dealings with Habberstad Mini have been wonderful....from the actual purchase, to the financing options, to my very fair trade-in, everyone has been very kind and explain things thoroughly. Philip got me into the car I wanted (a Countryman), and I couldn't be happier that he was able to help make it happen. He is very knowledgable, and explains things in the easiest way to understand. They are also very attentive in making the experience at Mini be the best it can be. They really pay attention to detail. Thank you for helping me find a wonderful car!

    Dropped my mini off for typical service, oil change, milage service, etc.. Mini by far has the best service and the people who run the service @ Mini. They were prompt, fast, and were willing to make any accommodation to fit me.. If you don't own a Mini, you should, if you do own a Mini, you should bring it to Habberstat Mini, by far the best service I have ever received. A loaner, the service, and the people make Mini Service GREAT!!! A+++ Rob

    I recently purchased my second mini from George K . My husband and I will always return to George because he knows his product, puts zero pressure on you, is patient and professional. He made the experience easy and enjoyable. We have been return customers since 2007 and will continue to be. Btw- we love our cars too!

    Bought my Mini Cooper Hardtop in 2011. The sales expirience was seamless. A few years later, and I am still in love with my car! Service is always top notch. Everyone I have dealt with is personable and knowledgeable. I haven't had any issues since my purchase and I am confident driving around knowing that this team has been maintaining my car correctly.
  • Pre Owned Mini Cooper Haberstad Mini

    I had my oil light come on when I was about to leave for work. Stopped at my local Mechanic Brigandi Bros (best in Suffolk County) to see if it was a quick fix. He recommended I do not drive the car and bring it to my dealer as it should be under warranty. I called Mini Road Side assistance and with no questions asked they towed it via flat bed (highly recommend) to my dealer. The dealer worked on it the next day and within 24 hours Tracy called me and told me my car was ready free of charge. When I went to pick up my car they asked if I had ten minutes as they would like to wash the car. With that said..... five stars from start to finish with Haberstad Mini. I am sorry to say but I forgot the young mans name who was working the counter with Tracy but he was great also. No questions regarding what gas I use, show me the oil change history etc. Nothing just a simple in and out with no hassles. They were even nice enough to assure me that if my car was not ready they would have a loaner of equal value readily available for as long as I need. To close I receive a call from Tracy the next day checking up to make sure all is running smooth. I would highly recommend Haberstad Mini. PS....Phil is a great salesman. I bought my car a year ago and never felt like I was being dragged over the coals. We all know that feeling with dealers. You almost feel like you need a shower when you are done with them. Not here.

  • MINI Service @ Habberstad MINI

    Although it's always heart-racing when a dashboard light goes on, everyone at Habberstad MINI - from Philip in sales to Tracey & William in service are always kind, efficient, and helpful. When the yellow check engine light came on I was nervous. I emailed Philip, who called me right back, and assured me the sky wasn't falling. I also called Service and they hooked me up w/an appointment for the next morning. Tracey called me back and made sure I'd have a rental and calmed my nerves. Drop off everything went well. When I came to p/u I had some questions about what was covered under warranty, what service was actually done, and questions about brakes and alignments. William took the time to explain everything and why it was or was not done. If I have one complaint, it's that I have only gotten a MINI loaner ONCE in 3+ years! This makes me really sad. :-(
