Unfortunate experience

I bought a car from this location a couple weeks ago. I love the car. It was sold to me as all features working the way they should. A few days after getting the car home, I tried to turn on the heated steering wheel and it didn’t work. I reached out to the person who sold me the car and let him know it wasn’t working. He then proceeded to tell me that because I didn’t purchase the extra warranty, it wouldn’t be fixed. I had owned the car a week. Now I understand if something that worked when they sold it breaks, that is on me. But selling a defective car and then not fixing it, that is just bad business. It’s too bad because Spokane is small and word travels fast. I would have loved to have a car company that I could return to. Not this one unfortunately.

My purchase experience at AutoNation Chevrolet was very positive. I had been shopping for a similar car elsewhere but the numbers were never quite right. The sales consultants were very respectful and the lack of back and forth negotiations was much appreciated. I actually enjoyed my afternoon and got to drive home in the vehicle I truly wanted.

Silence is not service

Boy am I seriously disappointed with your after sale support. I was away this last week and expected to return to an invitation to come to the dealership and get my windshield replaced and my new license plates. Did I get this invitation? Not only no but I didn't get a notice to say why you were delinquent in providing the service per our written agreement. I had to replace a windshield on another of my vehicles and the provider came the very next day after I called and in less than an hour was on his way to his next customer. That's service, silence is not.

Our sales person was friendly, so friendly that he ignored my questions while he did small talk. It took 6 hours to buy a car that was already picked out and trade a beautiful truck in. First they tried to totally low ball the trade, then cam up a couple thousand after we were going to walk out the door. No one was there to clean our new truck because it got so late. They had no idea how to process a purchase to get it licensed in AZ. I will never buy from there again.
