Contacted dealership about a used online listing. They confirmed that it was available and set up an appointment. This model goes very quickly and other dealers said they had one but gone by time we got there. Vehicle was as advertised and a good deal. We passed papers back and forth and we were wrapped up in a couple of hours. No pressure and very accommodating.

    I went to Toyota before anyone at 7:30 saturday. Oil change, the service guy said it will take one hour, i've been going there for 6 or 7 years, I am happy with the experience but I waited for 2 hours washing my car, not moving finally a nice guy changed the oil and checked the car and gave me it back and I found out why the delay was two hours. There was only three mechanics and there wasnt enough staff, it's always the same excuse. I did buy the package for 2 years and I payed the price for the dealer and I had to wait two hours for an oil change.This is the reason I am giving one star rating. The mechanic is very nice the service manager, Dani was very nice. The service staff wasn't very helpful his name was John and the reason for this mess was because there was no mechanic's for all the people.

  • Warranty problem

    Dealer resolved the issue and replaced a censor on a 2024 prius with 3,500 miles or so. In the process the dealer recommended replacing all 4 brake rotor and starter battery. A bit shocking to have such a recommendation for a car that is basically brand new. I would be very wary of recommendations from this location. Toyota dealers have a bit of a problem reccomending service not really needed pushing sales.

    We visit Toyota Service in Boston every 4-5 months for the past three years as part of the warranty (part of purchase) and Toyota Care Plus. Seeing Tereza Guzman each time is always a pleasure. Tereza is so sweet, caring, and very helpful in answering our questions. As for the car service, we always get a detailed report of what's being done and we feel that the information is always very useful. We highly recommend this Toyota Service to everyone in the Boston area.

    Honestly there is not one single thing that I can think of to dislike. I am on my 4th lease, my husband is on his 3rd, my mother-in-law her second and my friends are on their 3rd.There is not one person that is not a pleasure to deal with. Salesperson, service team, finance people...they are all looking out for you and your best interests.

  • Termination of Lease

    You pay a hefty fee to have the dealer handle the paperwork when buying out the lease. But it is worth it when you know how bad and time consuming it is to manage the RMV process. The first car we did a year ago we spent an inordinate amount of time (2 hours) at the dealership because the agent wasn’t prepared. This time it went smoothly because the agent was prepared and we only spent 15 minutes.

    I called at 7:00am, when the service department opened, needing to have tires checked (low air signal on dashboard) prior to a road trip in two days. The woman who answered the phone said come right in. When I arrived, Sean took care of me, knowing I had a doctor's appointment at 9:00 am. Everything was fine: tires checked, signal checked, needed rear windshield wiper blade. Done with time to spare. Charge was $13.00; waived labor fees. WHO DOES THAT! SEAN, at Herb Chambers Toyota of Boston. I've told everyone. Thank you Sean.

    Long wait times even with appointments, and they always try to upsell you. I also went in for a service inspection sticker recently and they forgot to give me the new sticker when I left, then made me go back and said they can't pass me for my window tints even though they passed me last year with the same exact tints.

    I’ve had Toyota cars purchased from Herb Chambers for the past 30 years. Their repair shop is excellent. They keep You updated on any repairs that need to be done . Their work is very good . Their prices are somewhat high but you get what you pay for. I will continue to buy my cars from Toyota of Boston and have them serviced there.
