I recently purchased a used 718 Spyder from Porsche Plano and the experience was great. Mark in sales was great to work with very upfront about everything and made the sales process smooth. The great service continued in Finance with James who took the time to ensure I understood everything I was signing and options available to me. My wife and I were in the market for a Certified Pre Owned SUV type of vehicle. Our 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited had lost it's luster with us, and we spent several days shopping and considering replacement vehicles online. Finally, my wife suggested we talk to the person who sold us her 2019 Boxster, so we stopped in at Porsche Plano and met with Mark Laurenzi. After discussing with Mark the features we were looking for and our budget, we started by driving a Macan. We both drove the Macan to get a feel for it and see if it would fit our needs. Because we wanted a little more back seat and cargo room, we then test drove a Cayenne. We loved it, and knew that would be the model we were most interested in. From there, Mark started looking at what CPO inventory was readily available. Mark found us a 2020 model year that was recently acquired on a trade in. We went and looked at the vehicle. He warned us ahead of time that it needed to go through the clean up and certification process. Upon seeing it, I knew that was the one I wanted. We weren't in any kind of hurry, so we told Mark to let us know when it's been through the CPO process and was ready for us to test drive. Once it was ready, we came back and test drove the vehicle, and that was all it took. One of the refreshing things about Porsche Plano and Mark is that there's zero pressure. They won't push you towards any specific vehicle if you're not certain. That's pretty refreshing in today's car buying climate. When it comes time for us to make a future purchase, we will definitely be reaching out to Porsche Plano and meeting with Mark Laurenzi!

Regular Maintenance visit

I went in for my first 10,000 mile service appointment on my Macon S, and had a good experience. Trying to schedule the appointment wasn't as easy as I anticipated, with the phone operator initially stating I needed to wait nearly a month for a routine oil change if I wanted to be able to have a loaner. The woman on the phone also said I wasn't due until Feb for my first maintenance (based on my one year) and asked if I wanted to wait until then for my oil change - which is ridiculous. I managed to get in earlier than that but the initial scheduling was not smooth - surprising as I've been going to this dealership for ten years. However, my assigned service advisor, Patrick Arnold, did an excellent job of checking my vehicle, keeping me updated and performing all service. I also appreciated the new video updates they do for the vehicles. I was coming in to pick up just after Patrick was supposed to have left but he was still there and greeted me and asked if I had any questions. Highly recommend Patrick as a service advisor.

The customer service has been great. Eric Mazariegos and Tony were the best!! Even the Store Manager personally came out to say "Thank you"! Eric even gave me 2 free gifts out of his pocket. I really appreciate him for that. It was very nice of him. Overall, I had the best and smoothest transaction with getting my Porsche! I will definitely recommend you guys to people I know who are looking to buy theirs in the future! Amazing job!

Poor Communication

I dropped my 911 for its 1 year service after making an appointment online (due to not being able to talk to anyone on the phone), it was supposed to be ready by the evening. I never got a call, email or a text about the status of the car. The next morning I tried to call it was impossible to speak to anyone in service, I spoke to someone in sales and asked them to have service call me regarding the car and status with no luck. After several hours I finally tried back and was able to talk to someone in service who advised me that the car was not assigned a tech. I told the advisor to pull my car and I would come pick it up. To give more background, when I was trying to schedule the service, it was very difficult to schedule, when I arrived at the dealership there was no loaner available (even though I had scheduled the service with a loaner) The advisor who helped me on pickup stated it was due to the service being scheduled when there were no loaners available. When I pressed him on why then did no one contact me, he had no response. This is a high end vehicle, communication is the bare minimum you should expect from any service center. I hope they are able to figure out their communication challenges. It should also be mentioned that after this incident, no leadership from the dealership has reached out to get more information, etc.

I had a great experience at Porsche Plano and Jorge De La Canal is awesome. I think this the 4th Porsche I have purchased from you guys over the years and the second Porsche I purchased with Jorge's help. I have also purchased other vehicles through Jorge when he was with Mini. Jorge has always been great to work with, incredibly helpful, and super accommodating. You guys are very fortunate to have him there. Also, I have always had an incredible experience with all of your folks at Porsche Plano, especially your service department. CPO purchase

It was slow getting started for a trade in price and financing but finally after a day or so delay things moved along and we agreed on a deal. The car was well detailed and prepared for delivery. Everything at dealership went smoothly but i was there for 4 hours. I was disappointed that the front rotors and pads weren't replaced as part of the CPO work. The rotors were rated at 55% and would be replaced at 50% so that close to replacement made me unhappy.
