Great experience

I think Pablo did a great job of listening to what I wanted in a vehicle. This was the first time in a very long time that I didn't have any anxiety with my car buying process. This was a smooth, calm experience from beginning to end.

Great experience

Top notch

Ray Skillman Northeast was a pleasure to work with in the purchase of my car.I was met by Sam Higgins ,told him what I was looking for and within little time I'd found a 2015 Acadia at a nice price. Levi Stephens had all the paperwork,and there was no high pressure sales.I was then given a sort of wall thru with Kathy Pancake as to some of the features of my vehicle.Everyone was knowledgeable,and friendly.I will definitely recommend Ray Skillman Northeast to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

This is my first car note and my credit suck. The buy here buy here staff are the best. They don't look at what you've done is the pass! Only what's being done in the future and how they can help! Def will be back for a car for the mister!

BUYER BEWARE-INTIMIDATING AND ABUSIVE SALES AND MANAGEMENT STAFF

I have reported this dealership to Angie's List and the BBB of Indiana. It was my understanding that the sales staff at an autodealership was there to educate and inform the consumer and facilitate the purchase of a vehicle. This was not the case with the staff at Ray Skillman South. My experience with this dealership was awful. I felt extremely intimidated by the sales staff who pestered me and would not even let me look around the lot without following 2 steps behind. I did find a vehicle I wanted to purchase, against my better judgement I agreed to go inside and "discuss" the sale of the vehicle. Once inside the sales person wanted to "get down to business"; he proceeded to tell me the vehicle was worth well more than what I wanted to pay and what it was worth. I had done my homework and knew what the vehicle was worth on a wholesale and retail level and found the pricing was off around $2500.00. I offered a price I was willing to pay and he got up and left me at his desk. Then he pulled the old bait and switch on me and the used car manager appeared and proceeded to argue with me without even introducing himself to me. How rude!! I told him what my bank said the vehicle was worth and what they were willing to finance and he proceeded to tell me he did not regularly do business with my bank and that he did not want my business if I didnt want to use his finance department. He also told me if my bank could find the vehicle for me then I should buy it from them and not Ray Skillman since I thought my bank knew so much. I said fine and began to leave. As I was walking out of the dealership the used car manager proceeded to talk about me just loud enough for me to hear and he had the nerve to argue with me once I called him out on this. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. If you do not take my advise BEWARE! I bought the exact same vehicle from another dealer for more than $2000.00 less and was treated with respect.

Dishonest Sales Pricing!

I priced a new car on both this site & thru another website (both sites gave the same pricing TMV/TIP true internet price) on a car... most expensive model w/ some options. My request for a quote was sent to this dealership & another in this market. This dealership's email first came back with a quote on a lesser style loaded with options and a higher price. When I reminded them that this was not the car I wanted, they then came back with the right car, right options, priced higher than TMV/TIP (using the incentives!) without providing a breakdown or disclosing invoice or amount of incentives. The other dealership quoted the right car, with $500 over the TMV/TIP then gave credit for the incentives. However, another dealership in the area that was listed as a participating internet dealership (but didn't get sent my request for a quote), matched the internet quote when I called them and the incentive. Additionally, they gave me a dealer incentive that the manufacturer was offering to dealerships (that no one else had mentioned, including this website). On top of that, AFTER I agreed to the deal & gave them a deposit to transport the car with my choice of color from another state, they offered me a $350.00 credit for bringing me their business instead of dealing with the "big" dealerships. By the way, I had bought 2 other cars (high end vehicles) from Skillman in the past. I am wondering just how much they overcharged me on those!

Get ready to loose money fast if you buy a conversion...

Having bought a prior year model conversion van, I thought I was doing fairly well for the price I paid compared to a current year model. - However, with custom vans, you loose money faster than anything... - Not specific to this dealer, but they seem to sell a few... However, I did have several issues after the sale, I even wrote to the owner, and never heard back (until I went back, at which point they located the still unopened letter from several weeks ago). Basically I had some left some feedback for GM regarding my experience, and did not rate it top, so the next time I came back I was told that if I wanted a decent deal that I had to promise to rate them 100%... I bought a total of 3 vehicles from them, but I'm done with them.
