Dealer sold us a vehicle that leaks and won’t fix it
by Jeep Renegade on 02/25/2023Very poor experience at Russ Darrow Direct in Neenah. We purchased a 2018 Jeep Renegade and paid full price for it (almost $18,000 all in). The car was inspected and sold to us with no problems. After we took the vehicle home, the very next… morning there was a puddle of windshield washer fluid on the ground. I took a picture of it and sent it to the Dealer and they said to monitor it as it could have just been overfilled and spilled over. OK… fine. The next day we park the car elsewhere and wake up to another puddle of washer fluid. Clearly it is leaking. Called the Dealer to explain my findings and they said we have to pay for the repair because the vehicle is “no longer in their possession.” Seriously? It leaked that very day and they didn’t tell us that was a problem with it. How can they sell it to us with that problem? They said that because it wasn’t part of the standard safety check it wasn’t looked at so now it’s our problem. Wow. We just spend $18,000 on this vehicle and already will need to find a repair shop to fix it the very day after we bought it. Salesman yelled and hung up on me during our conversations when I was trying to get them to make it right. Given it’s clear that won’t be happening, I am posting this review. Stay away from Russ Darrow Direct in Neenah. I would give 0 stars if I could.
