  • NO Customer Service!

1.3 out of 5 starsby negotiatress on 07/21/2007

We go to Cascade Auto Center to look at Subarus at 4:20 on a NON-holiday weekend Saturday. After looking around for 15 minutes, we started to wonder if they were closed because there were NO salespeople around. There were two other customers waiting to be helped out front, and one of them said the entire dealership was just busy when she overheard us wondering where everyone was. Then we went inside to see if that's where the salespeople were hiding. The lights were low and there was no one at the front desk or in any of the offices. We did see two salesmen working out deals in the back, but they couldn't be the extent of the weekend sales force, could they? In short, we left after 35 minutes, without anyone from the dealership saying acknowledging our presence. My husband, a very easygoing guy who rarely gets angry at poor service, was pretty furious, as this was one of only a couple of afternoons he's had off in many months, and he won't get the opportunity to get a good look at the car he wants until September now. The weekend is a prime car browsing and buying time. Every dealership we've ever been to has had all hands on deck on weekends and evenings, and we've never been left out in the cold like this. We would understand the lack of service a little better if it were a holiday or something, and it's great to not be swarmed by pushy salesmen as soon as you get out of your car. However, there's absolutely no excuse for not being acknowledged after that long or failing to staff the store properly on a regular, summer, Saturday afternoon. One has to wonder: if Cascade Auto Center is this neglectful BEFORE the sale, how horrible might they be when they have the consumer's money in their hot little hands? Go see for yourself, but I'd suggest preparing to drive to Ellensburg, Seattle, Yakima, Tri-Cities or Spokane if you want the kind of customer service you deserve, especially for a major purchase like this.

  • Horrible Sales Service

I have gone to Cascade Auto center twice to shop for used cars (trade in my 07 subaru legacy) as well as being awarded the "grand prize" (a free oil change) by mail. Both times when going to the dealership I got rude service and the runaround. Before even going into financing I told them what I wanted and they pretty much told me I couldn't afford anything they had. BTW I have perfect credit and make pretty good money. When winning the prize they told me I had to buy/trade a vehicle in order to even talk about what it was. I will NEVER go here again and hope to warn you against it as well. Good luck fellow car shoppers.
