  • Great place to buy cars

5 out of 5 starsby Anabella on 01/26/2024

This is a great place to buy cars. There is a large variety of vehicles and good deals on prices. Gary Van Auken was especially helpful. His responded quickly to our questions and provided detailed answers. Very professional and knowledgeable person. Gary made car searching and buying processes easy and enjoyable. He really takes a good care of customers and cares about their satisfaction. He worked late when needed to make sure that he answered all requests and helped customers fully. I highly recommend this dealership to others.

Austin Sherbon and Patrick in financing made buying a truck the most awesome experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. We got what we wanted all the way around.

  • Dont trust them

1 out of 5 starsby Chris on 09/06/2022

Don't trust them. Read every step of your contract, before you sign. I fell for the "we are just a big family here, and we want you to be a part of it" speech. I tried contacting them after the sale, they would not help. All they would do, is show me the paperwork I signed.

  • GOOD DEAL & FAIR !

Rick K. has been my sales rep for the last 22 cars that I have purchased from Gamblin Motors in Enumclaw, WA.

  • Sorry, your problem now!

    1 out of 5 starsby Kaden A on 07/31/2020

I purchased my vehicle about a week ago. My sales rep was Rick K, and he was amazing and very easy to work with. I had absolutely no problems with him. If you must buy here, definitely ask for Rick K! He is a good, honest man. The dealership itself however, I do not recommend, and would advise buying at any other dealer. They were very stingy and not willing to work with me on standard things. I had asked for several standard repairs and did not negotiate the price on my new vehicle. It is a 2020 pre-owned Silverado that had some issues, missing floor mats, low fluids, low filter life, scratches and dents, etc. They refused to properly fix any of these issues because I negotiated an extra $250 out of my trade in vehicle, even though it is now posted for almost $6,000 more than offered during trade in. The only thing they did replace were the rotors since they were extremely warped. The service center employees were very nice when we had them replaced. Any of these other things would have been taken care of at any other dealership. For a used 2020 IN 2020 to have been sold with these problems after an apparent 150 point inspection is extremely disappointing! I had much higher hopes for Gamblin Motors, but was very let down with the overall experience. I have purchased a few vehicles in the past and this has been my worst experience. I do not plan to return for repairs, purchases, or recalls, and will find a new dealer in the future.

  • No my best experience...

2 out of 5 starsby bochabr on 01/25/2018

Unhappy with purchase...and keep finding additional things broken on a daily basis....and feel I overpaid! I do have to take some responsibility for not making the extra trip to inspect before finalizing purchase.

  • Great Experience

I had a great experience at Gamblin Motors. I never felt pressured. The sales rep...Chris Streuli was great. I would recommend them and will be checking there inventory the next time I am shopping for a car.

  • Bad deals bad vehicles

    1 out of 5 starsby nateanderson86 on 07/09/2015

We have bought 2 rigs from here the first was a 2007 cadillac escalade, the truck needed some things fixed and we negotiated the repairs in the sale deal and thought it would be handled being small town dealer reputation to maintain, but that was not the case, after numerous attempts to get the repairs done I ended up emailing the owner personally and he did then take care of the problems. ....not but a couple months later the wiring harness caught on fire and trapped my pregnant wife in the vehicle, we had that repaired via insurance and the people at gamblin said they would make good on it when we wanted to trade it in to come back, so now a year later we went back over our better judgement and bought a 2007 silverado 2500hd duramax and they did give us a good trade value as they said and then low and behold within 2 weeks the truck died and left me stranded in a parking lot, they told me to tow it to them to look at and they would "work with me" on the repairs, I understand I bought a vehicle with no warranty but it should have at least made it a week, come to find out the fuel filter plugged up, I had it replaced and it drove fine....until 2 weeks later it died again, again fuel filter plugged up and the filter head now had a leak, $250 later and I'm back on the road, and boom a month later plugged up again, I had the filter analyzed this time to find out the truck has sediment and algae in the tank and needed cleaned and the pump is below pressure and will need replaced at almost $2000. So pretty much 2 bad eggs same place, i don't even feel like they inspect their trade in just throw them on the lot. And I know for a fact they don't change the oil yet put a sticker that it was freshly changed with a date and mileage to return. Pretty much if you want a vehicle to last 1 month buy one from here.....

My husband and I got approved for a 2003 white dodge 2500 long box with the VIN #3D7KU28C03G830782. On Thursday June 25,2015 we drove all the way out there from Boise, Idaho (8 1/2 hours)and were assured that the truck had full diagnostics run on it at their local Dodge dealership. We were also told the truck had the gauge cluster and the fuel transfer pump in the fuel tank replaced, due to the gauge cluster intermittently not working and the engine had an extended crank time. My husband is an established diesel mechanic and obviously knows what to look for so when we got there and he TRIED to start the truck and it had a very extended crank time, approximately 7-10 seconds, he wanted to know why. With the engine running at idle the check engine light would come on and all of the gauges would stop working intermittently (2-5 seconds) the ABS and brake light were on even with the parking break released. The ABS and brake lights would turn off when the truck started rolling, the truck ran and drove decent but we wanted to know why the so called problems that were "fixed" were still not working. My husband asked for a code scanner to see if the truck would throw any codes and it did, so from there we went to the dodge dealership who plugged into it with their scanner and found that there was a "short to ground to the ECM". At this point all of their diesel mechanics had left for the day and we were left with the choice of taking a truck home that possibly needed upwards of $8,000 worth of repairs or staying until the next day to hopefully have someone look at it. I just want to remind you that ALL OF THIS was supposed to done already, we were told that the truck had FULL DIAGNOSTICS run and any and all running issues were fixed PRIOR to our commitment and drive over to Washington. SO WE PAID to stay the night in a hotel and decided to have the truck taken to The Power Shop to get a second opinion the following morning and actually have the FULL DIAGNOSTIC run to find out why this truck is throwing codes. On Friday morning June 26, 2015 we found out the truck has a bad CP3 High Pressure Fuel Pump, injectors, and a short to ground in the ECM (probably for the gauge cluster) and they were quoted from The Power Shop $4,000 to fix it and I'm assuming that was just an estimate and it would most likely end up being more. At this point in time we were still interested in the truck and offered to still buy it if they took the $4,000 off the $21,000 sale price because they didn't want to pay to have it fixed. They told us NO because they are already losing too much money on the truck and they would rather take their chances at auction. They also told us to "watch out for it" because it will most likely end up in Spokane. Long story short my husband and I are still are in the market for a truck and we happened to notice that this truck has STILL not been taken off line, the price is STILL the same, the PROBLEMS have still NOT been fixed, and they went from two pictures of the truck to ADDING approximately 22 more pictures of the truck, I have called and they are still trying to sell it. Just a heads up they may not have wanted to sell us a "bad" truck but they're clearly willing to sell YOU one. They are [non-permissible content removed] and should be held responsible for trying to sell you an overpriced truck that needs thousands of dollars worth of work.
  • I'd even recommend them to my Mama!!!

5 out of 5 starsby Sandycamaro on 06/14/2015

Salesman Dale Dunks and Finance Dude Tom are the best. Honest, fair, respectful and personable. Characteristics that are hard to find in a lot of car salesman. Their prices are fair and competitive and they'll make sure you get the best deal possible. I can only speak of Dale and Tom, but if the rest of the employees at Gamblins are anything like these two - the dealership is an A-One dealer. And if you don't live near Enumclaw - do yourself a favor and make the drive. Its a decision you won't regret it. Thanks Dale and Tom......you're the best!
  • Great car buying experience!!!

Buying my car at Gambliin Motors was a great experience! Cody helped me find the perfect car. He listened to what I wanted, clarified information, and really went out of his way to help me buy the car I wanted. I went back to the service department to order a box and a bike rack and had them within two hours of ordering!! Gamblin's provides exceptional service and is the only place I will buy a car.
  • Poor customer service

    1 out of 5 starsby rolland1 on 10/02/2014

This company is content selling broken merchandise. Their solution is to sell you a replacement to make it right. It should have been right in the first place. They are after your money, not your satisfaction.
  • Another new car from Gamblin Motors!

I have had exceptional service from Gamblin Motors ever since I purchased a 2009 Pontiac Vibe. Sales, service and parts--all great folks. I just purchased a 2014 Buick Encore from them because of their great staff and service. Make sure to give these folks a chance to get your business.

I found a vehicle that I was interested in on the internet so I drove to Art Gamblin Motors to check it out. I was helped by a gentlemen by the name of Jim Wiseman. I was pleased with the assistance I recieved. Jim listened to my needs and went to work for me, which resulted in my purchasing a vehicle. With the bad experiences I have had at car dealerships I greatly appreciated the time Jim took with me and his honest approach. I already have and will continue to recommend Art Gamblin Motors and Jim Wiseman.
  • pleasant experience

    5 out of 5 starsby cath4 on 07/16/2010

Recently purchased a used Toyota from them. Had found the car on the internet and drove a couple hours to get there. Salesman Jim Wiseman was very easy-going and low-pressure. I had done my homework and felt I got a good deal. We had a problem with the seat warmers and Jim was going to take care of it if I couldn't get it done locally under warranty. He has since followed up a couple times to make sure I am happy with the car. We were not expecting to take delivery the day that we drove down but they were very accommodating and worked with us to save us a trip back. Overall, it was an easy and pleasant buying experience.
  • After over 10 years I took my business elsewhere...

1.8 out of 5 starsby tiredofthieves on 04/06/2008

I was a Gamblin Motors customer for over 10 years. Now, I knew these people weren't my friends but you'd think after buying 4 cars from them they'd stop blatantly lying to me. One of the worst stunts they pulled was trying to sell me a flood car trying to tell me it was 'in great shape and like new'. How did I know it was a flood car? Well, the water bugs and the mildew smell were dead giveaways. Not to mention the rust-line across the inside of the engine compartment. In servicing one of my cars they actually BROKE the wood trim from the center console. They had to find a replacement from a WRECK because it would take 3-4 months to buy a new one. [violative content deleted] Avoid this dealership.
  • A very good experience.

My most recent purchace at Art Gamblin motors was a 2008 silverado 3/4 ton diesel duramax pickup and the whole experience was great.! I had some very specific requirements on the vehicle, and the salesman was very helpful. He was able to provide me with every single option, and did it in a very efficient manner. The financing portion of the deal was very easy and fast. Finally, the salesmen explained every option on my vehicle and was very infomative. In short, my overall experience at Art Gamblin Motors was excellent. In the future I will refer all friends and family to Art Gamblin Motors.
  • Bad, Bad, Bad Experience

1.7 out of 5 starsby enumclaw on 01/21/2008

I finally found the rig of my dreams or so I thought. The actual buying experience was not that but it's what happened afterwards. The ad bragged about the 6 disc CD-Changer that came in this vehicle. However, when I got it home and tried to put in a CD it did not work. Turns out there is a CD stuck. When taken back to the dealer I was told it was an "AS VEHICLE". If you read the disclaimer on the very bottom of their web page it states " it provides the information "as is" and makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding it. Neither the company who creates the website nor the dealer are responsible for misprints on prices or equipment. They said they could get me a new stereo at COST. If this was a real dealership that cared about their customer they would have taken care of this problem. My advice...Don't buy here. After your papers are signed they could care less about you. If you want to keep your business in Enumclaw, I would suggest another one of the dealers down the street.

I had such an amazing experience with Gamblin motors. They were very professional and honest with me and I really appreciate those kinds of salesman. I was looking for three weeks before I went to Gamblin and I couldnt be happier with my purchase. I originally found the truck online and called for more information. Once I knew I was interested I went down and test drove the vehicle. They even let me borrow it over night to get it checked out and know I was sure that I was happy. They care about there customers happiness first which is not something you find everyday in a dealership. Once I made the deal, I had no doubts because I had enough time with the vehicle and knew exactly what I was getting. Jim Wiseman was my salesman, he is such a awesome man to work with. He is professional, understanding and most of all a good listener. He listened to me when I told him what I wanted and then went straight to work getting me exactly what I needed. I got the perfect car for me and I have him to thank for it. Not only would I recommend Gamblin motors to any and all of my friends and family, but I would definitely go back myself in the future to get my next vehicle. Thank you Jim for all your hard work and understanding and I look forward to working with you and Gamblin in the future!
