Lies, Lies, Lies - Stay away from KOONS HYUNDAI WOODBRIDGE
by Max on 06/05/2025What a crappy Dealerxxxx. Lies, lies, and more lies. I purchased a used Santa Fe and was told that i would be able to get my vehicle serviced at any dealership and that it would be covered. This includes the complimentary maintenance,… including free oil changes and tire rotations, for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. So when i get to my local dealership in Bowie, they tell me that the maintenance is only good at the place i purchased it from. Koons Woodbridge Hyundai lied to me and my wife about the service. Stay away from the salesman LLOYD JOHNSON and the SALES MANAGER KEITH FRALIN. They will play word games and word salad and xxxxxxxx you. STAY AWAY. LessBuyers beware!!!
by J K on 05/30/2025I bought a 2022 Nissan Rogue from this dealership on Thursday, May 22, 2025. I took the vehicle to a nearby Nissan dealership to fix an inoperative USB port on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, and the electrical engineer at the Nissan dealership… found out that the vehicle had been flooded, which Hyundai Woodbridge had not disclosed at the time of the purchase. I contacted a sales manager on Thursday, May 29, 2025 for cancellation of the sales contract and a refund due to the undisclosed material event and defect to the vehicle, but Hyundai Woodbridge is not willing to cancel the contract and make the refund.Don't buy from this dealership
by Alex Nguyen on 03/30/2021Don't buy from this dealership. They are very tricky. I communicated with their sales people via text, all on records. The otd price they showed me is $27,450. I looked and asked abt $995. They responded back that if they take that… off, do we have a deal? Then I responded back saying $26,000 and we have a deal. Guess what? They started to run my credit application. And when I called and talked more abt the results, the manager mentioned the price is $28,000 because they have to pay $2,000 bank fee to get approved. I was like "so i have to eat that $2,000?" - i was under assumption that its the deal $26,000 thats why dealership started to run application for finance approval. They said no, the OTD is $27,450. by designn205 on 07/08/2020This dealership tried to add over $3,000 in addition to taxes, tags, and dealer processing to their advertised "Guaranteed Wow" price. The fees included over $2,000 for a reconditioning fee and another $700 for some sort of deluxe detail… package. The sales person did quickly remove the $700 fee but admitted that the store advertises a lower "Wow" price to get people in the door and then add the restoration fee. After showing the Koons Wow Price Promise on the Koons website the general manager removed the restoration fee. The only reason I drove to this dealership was the reassurance that there would be no hidden fees associated with the Koons Wow price, finding out this not be the case was disappointing. When I took delivery of the car, in addition to only being provided one key fob the vehicle had a warning light displayed stating there was an issue with the remote starter. I was instructed to take the vehicle to a Honda dealership to have this issue diagnosed. The vehicle needed a new start/stop switch. Koons did reimburse me for this expense but it took a few reminders to have the reimbursement check sent to me. I was told the check would be over-nighted but instead it took two weeks to get reimbursed. I've had the vehicle for a little over a month and the second key fob that was supposed to be mailed has never arrived. I contacted my sales associated several times and told several times that it would be sent. I don't like having to be a pest and repeatedly check on the status of an item. I have texted and emailed several times and at this point am counting my losses. The sales associate, Dequan, was cordial and helpful, though I'm not sure why he never sent the key fob. Had it not been for Dequan I would have likely walked away from this dealership and rated it a one.
