Incompetent staff
by Angela C on 03/23/2025I purchased a 2017 Chevy Volt from Ken Garff Volvo on April 26, 2024. I specifically waited to buy a PHEV until I was sure that the up to $4,000 Clean Vehicle tax credit would apply. I assumed that the people working at the dealership were… minimally competent to handle the process of buying a car and that they might have been actually doing something with the four hours of my life that they wasted screwing around with paperwork. I guess that this is what one gets for assuming. On Feb 17, 2025 I filed my taxes electronically, including Form 8936 which told me I was entitled to a $979 Clean Vehicle tax credit. My return was rejected half an hour later because the dealership failed to report the sale AT ALL to the IRS. After a MONTH of constantly having to call Ken Garff and the Volvo people on the east coast, the answer amounts to "Oops, our bad, sucks to be you." Apparently customer service is non-existent at this business, along with any form of ethics or accountability combined with an astounding display of incompetence.Good Experience!

I worked mainly with Mitch and he was very accommodating, taking time to explain things to me, which was very helpful because I'm one of those people who… knows very little about cars. I also really appreciated that they didn't take up a ton of time. One of the other dealers I looked at made me sit around for over two hours just to get the first price on a car. Mitch at Ken Garff gave me the first price almost immediately and from there they were willing to work with me. The whole process was simple and went fairly quickly which is a HUGE plus in my mind.Salesman
by scubadan on 10/23/2010I drove up on my Suzuki Burgman 400cc scooter and was warmly greeted with a smile. After talking to the sales person, who listened to my what i was looking for he pointed me to two different type cars. After review the features of each i… started to settle into the Volvo XC60. After a test drive and further discussion on what i liked he asked if i would consider a demo version with 5600 miles. The price was better and it look totally new inside. The final drive by my wife was the sealing deal. She loved the car and after a very pleasant negotiation experience we have our new car. Very happy with the dealer and the sales person was very accommodating and great to work with. Would easily consider future purchase again from the dealer but also the salesperson. I would also recommend to my friends. Keep up the god work.
