Great Service experience
by Kaite P on 04/08/2025Accurate spot on diagnostics and expert mechanic repair. I like the provision of video footage of issues found. I have known Carlos for over 10 years and he has always been accommodating when I need to schedule for repair and he… provides concierge like customer experience. The dislikes : Cavender Cadillac service repair is expensive or pricier. My issues are proprietary repair ie TCM available only at GM/Cadillac 2. Changes made by Cavender Cadillac on payment option using credit card payment charging 3% . I ended up using debit card to avoid added fees. This limits the customers option of using credit card benefit points. I could have use the points to help me out on the cost of repairs.Kaite, we're delighted to hear that Carlos has consistently provided you with exceptional service at Cavender Cadillac. Smoke and Mirrors
by JoeinSATX on 12/17/2024Not a pleasant experience. We tried to buy a demo vehicle from the dealership on line. A price was quoted on both the vehicle and trade-in and we had come to an agreement. Then the rug was pulled out from underneath us. All we were told… was that they had made a cost of vehicle mistake and all they could do was apologize. We had put a lot of time and effort into researching this vehicle and going to see it, securing financing and none of that was taken into consideration. When we asked we could speak to a manager we were told that somebody would call us however we never received a call. They don’t seem to care about their customers. We bought here in the past and it was decent. This time we ended up buying a vehicle from Culvert in Austin. Very disappointed! Buyer beware of smoke and mirrors!!!Joe, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the demo vehicle purchase. It sounds frustrating and disappointing, especially after putting in so much effort. Best car buying experience that I ever had.
by Henry Espinoza on 05/05/2024After searching for weeks and two misses at other dealers, the right car in the right price range came up on the Cavender Cadillac site. I instantly asked for more information via there contact widget. Less than a minute later, Renata,… the salesperson, was reaching out to me by phone. I explained which car I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. She sent an estimate via email and we agreed to meet early the next day. Next morning I inspected the vehicle. I identified a few items to touch up. We agreed on a price. I was there less than 30 minutes. My wife and I returned later that day to sign the paperwork and accept the car. Everything was ready as expected with no waiting. Total time there was less than an hour. It was a delightful car buying experience!Henry, it's fantastic to know that Renata and our team at Cavender Cadillac were able to provide you with a smooth car-buying experience. Dishonest, kind of incompetent
by APZ on 04/26/2024Date of this review: 4/26/2024 Service Department is conniving. Jan 2024 I purchased a CERTIFIED 2022 CT5 Sport with approximately 22,000 miles on it, & as of today I’ve only put a little over 1,000 miles on it. By the end of March the… brakes started to squeak. I took it in & they said they didn’t hear anything & if I did hear the brakes squeaking that was totally normal because that’s common with the CT5 Sport…uh…I think not. I went back home & took video of my husband driving, braking in both drive & reverse, went back & showed them the video, they drove it & finally admitted they heard the brakes squeak. The service manager Carlos told me bring it back Friday & there would be no charge. When I returned on Friday Carlos said the cost would be $989.00 to clean the pads & rotors. I said no way & went back home. Evil & ridiculous! Lazy & incompetent.I'm sorry to read about your experience with our service department. It's important for us that all of our customers feel heard and treated fairly, especially when it comes to vehicle maintenance issues like this one. Key mix up

They had our second key because they said fob did not work. 4 trips to dealerMimi, I'm sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced with your car and the mix-up with the keys. by Ebbie3000 on 05/30/2019We took our Cadillac ATS in to be serviced when it would not start. I spoke with Carlos who was very friendly and helpful. When we picked up the car at 5:30 pm on May 23, 2019 the car drove well. My husband and I were moving and only still… in San Antonio waiting on the repair. Once it became dark at around 8:30. I was infront of my husband driving our other car(Cadillac CTS) when I noticed his lights where not on. I called him and told him to turn his lights on and he said that they were on. We pulled over to check the headlights but they would not come on on any setting. We had to stop for the night and get a room for the night because he was unable to drive in The dark. I called Carlos the next morning at 8 am to advise him that the lights would not come on. He said we would need to bring the car back in to be checked. I advised him that we have moved 6hrs away and that I would speak with my husband and see what he wanted to do. I called Carlos back on Tuesday after the holiday and asked him was there any way we could go to another dealership closer to us. He advised yes and if the problem was due to the previous repair it would be under warranty. I took the car to Orr Cadillac and the tech ran test and determined that the headlights had been blown out when the car was jump started and it would cost around $550 to repair. I called Carlos back and advised him on what I was told and advised him we never jumped the car and that it was only towed on a flatbed tow truck to the dealership. He said that that was impossible and couldn't be correct that the jump start would blow both headlights.I asked why wasn't the headlights checked before I received the car back and he said there was no need to check the lights because it was daytime. I asked if he could speak to the other dealership and discuss the repair. I called on 3way and let them discuss the issue. I ended up speaking with Robert Lopez who then stated that the lights were checked and that this was no fault to Cavender. I ask then why would Carlos tell me that they weren't checked if they actually had been. He saidI'd that Carlos was not a repair tech so he wouldn't know. He last said that it was normal ? Wear and tear. I said so I'm to believe that I received the car at 5:30 pm and by 8:15pm both headlights blew by normal wear and tear??? He said he'd seen crazier thing happened. He advised me that he could "help me out" and pay for half the repair but would not take fault. I have already over $1200 for ECM and a new battery. I am now out of another $250. I have always have a Cadillac and always had my repairs done at the dealership...I have never been so disappointed in the service and treatment I received from what I would have once believe to be a brand that went above and beyond for their consumer.My service
