Surprise cost!
by Bernice on 01/17/2024Tried to purchase a vehicle this dealer had listed online. Received copy of purchase order & they added many un-nesseary cost & items not requested. The vehicle went from 21,000 to over 26,000 for a used 2017 Toyota Prius Touring. Was… very intrested, was going to already incur extra cost to have shipped to my destination. Was ask what can we do to make this deal happen? Take off the reconditioning fee of over $1800, Perm. Paint cost $599 clear coat didn't request, $599 Lo-Jack didn't ask for anti theft device, they charged extra sales tax as they added all these extras to the vehicle. I was told this was listed in the add online which was not correct information. If your going to list a vehicle forsale put the real price your asking for the vehicle. I was told I would get a call back from the sales person, never received the return call. If I could up load copy of purchase order on here I would so others can see how this dealer does business.
