Superb sales and service
by sjo2 on 02/03/2015We recently purchased a used 2014 Acura MDX from Morris Tuck at AutoNation Acura Gulf Freeway. We were very pleased with the customer service provided by both Morris and the financial guy (who was also super). Morris quickly assessed our… needs, showed vehicle features, allowed us to do some test drives, and made several helpful (and non-pushy) follow up calls. He went above and beyond by picking us up at our home and bringing us to the dealer when we made the decision to purchase, as we'd already sold our second car, the one we were replacing with this purchase. Morris was especially good in illustrating the features of the vehicle, giving me a basic understanding of (some) of the things the auto can do. We bought the tech packaged vehicle, so it will take quite awhile before I can say I understand most of what the vehicle can do. And, we are quite satisfied with our choice of vehicle. Our MDX is a certified pre-owned, and it was in great condition. We love the space in the vehicle, the safety features of blind spot, collision, and cameras are great -- as we tend to keep our cars a long time, this is our first vehicle with those safety features and we're very impressed by what they add to the driving experience. We got a superb financing deal on the purchase -- beat our good credit union quote by a LOT...the actual purchase was painless and quick! We had some accessories added to the vehicle after purchase. When the accessories came in we returned the vehicle to the service department for installation. When I expressed some concern that the visit was taking longer than I'd anticipated, the manager put an additional person on the job and it was done within minutes. I appreciated that service "boost" greatly. The service staff was both personable and professional. They installation was done well. For us, purchasing a car is not that much fun. We agonize and procrastinate and in general don't enjoy the process. Morris and the crew at this dealership made our purchase very close to downright enjoyable!! Initially when we were thinking of leasing a car, I felt like they we were brought in with certain promises only to have them radically change once we arrived and started discussing the lease.… NOT a good way to start a business relationship. However, once we decided to buy a used car, everything changed for the better. We got the car we wanted at a fair price and I have nothing but good things to say about our Salesman, Dwayne and our Finance professional, Aaron. Both were extremely helpful, went above and beyond and as a result of their attention to detail and our needs, we will come to them first when we need to buy a car again. I highly recommend buying a new or used vehicle here.Awesome Experience

Roger Rodems (Internet Sales) pursued me diligently and respectfully… for 3 months and made sure I visited the dealership. Roger Rodems and team (Holly, Hallie, Jeremy Pratt, Albert Merrell) were courteous,professional and sincere and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Despite the deal having concluded late last Friday, they stayed on with Roger taking time to explain the features of the car. Roger even drove up to that original dealership to fetch the car with my specs in it! They are the example of no haggle pricing and worked with me big time. I give AutoNation Acura above 10 stars for every part of the… buying process, financing and cleaning the vehicle. Overall, my best experience ever buying a vehicle and I've bought Infiniti & Lexus 4 times total and AutoNation Acura beats both of them combined. Thank you AutoNation Acura & all the workers there from internet dept. (Hallie) to sales (Joe Q.) to Finance (Aaron) & all the others who helped to finish things up when others got busy. From my initial contact with Halee over the phone, to my salesmen Morris Tuck and Justin Mata, I experienced laid back, warm,… and friendly service. Albert Merrell in Finance was awesome, professional and got me out of his office in record time!! He also offered me a better finance rate than my credit union. The GM went out of his way to make sure my experience was pleasant and timely although things happened, beyond their control, that extended my time at the dealership to 6 long hours! Lies and Games
by Zedrio on 11/07/2014I will discribe this as a good deal gone bad. 1. I found the car I was looking for online. Was instantly contacted by the General Manager Brian. 2. I was out of town so Holly the internet manager took a $250.00 payment over the phone… after explaining to me that the payment was refundable if I decided not to purchase the car. 3. Went in and was treated very well. Worked with Dustin and even put $750.00 more with the $250.00 as a down payment just because. 4. As soon as I mentioned changing my mind due to a potential transmission issue on the car the customer service stopped. Imagine that!! 5. The new finance manager refunded the $750.00 but would not refund the $250.00. He said he will have to talk to Holly first and call me back later that day. Never received any call. But was hung up on by Dustin. I was lied to once again. 6. The old finance manager was no longer working there so when I asked to speak to Holly or Brian neither of them have been available. Dustin explained right before he hung up that he does not handle these issues and will be calling the other customers who want to buy the car. Which I was fine with because it seemed to have a transmition issue. Nothing has been resolved. I think the $250.00 was a good price to pay because if its all about the sell God forbid what id had to deal with if I had to take my car in for service. Highly disappointed and would not recommend to am ememy. Decided to buy from Gillman Acura and they had it together. My salesman Joe Quinonez made this a very smooth and painless… experience. Late in the day but he helped speed up the whole process and stayed with us until… 10:00pm when we walked out the door with my new RDX when in reality the dealership closed at 7:00pm. The car color , interior, and accessories I wanted at a fair price without a lot of haggling. Salesman John C. was very pleasant, and more… knowledgeable about the car than other dealers salesmen had been. The accessories were cheaper than at other dealers too. Good experience for me.Poor Customer Service
by Troops87 on 09/19/2014The only reason they are not getting one star is that I did get a nice car for a good price. You would think that would be enough to get 5 stars however the customer service I have experienced has been very disappointing resulting in this… rating. I purchased a used vehicle and inquired prior to making the deal that they did have a second key to the vehicle and an owners manual. I was assured by the sales agent, John, that they had everything and they kept it in the back with the keys. After agreeing to the price, signing the appropriate paperwork, I then waited over an hour and a half to get in to see the finance manger. There was only one person working in the finance department on a Saturday. We wrapped up at 9:30PM after having been there all day. And on the way out when it was time to get all the keys and manual, John then tells me that he checked and they do not have another key or an owners manual. I was complete frustrated but I had already been there since 4PM. He assured me he would get me both. Since then, I have called, emailed, text and still no key and manual. Everything in new cars is computerized these days. It is difficult to get acquainted using all the features if you don't know how to set them up. It has been 3 weeks and now I am not even getting responses to my calls or texts. It is very disappointing. People have a choice when they buy cars. I could have bought a used Lexus anywhere and after my experience at Acura, in the future I will only go to a dealer recommended by a friend or family member.We appreciate you taking the time to review your experience with our location. Horrible and deceptive
by Mena888 on 08/05/2014Traveled 1.5 hours to visit dealership and was told the color of the car I wanted was sold in the morning! Got a phone call while driving to confirm appointment too! Way to trick customers to go into dealership!!! Don't ever trust these… people at AutoNation Acura! Purchased MDX along with my friend at Sterling McCall instead! My new TL

I loved my TL and decided that was what I wanted. I went to three different… Acura dealerships. AutoNation Acura (where I bought my first TL) was the most helpful. No hassle - I explained what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. Since I have had my 2002 TL serviced there all these years, I know I will receive quality service after the sale. A surprisingly good experience!
by jane40 on 10/27/2010After some doubtful experiences with other dealers/car sales people, we went to this place to look for a used car that was on the internet for sale. The car was waiting for us when we came up and we took a testride. The salesguy told us… that they have checked the car before the put it for sale! This was new for me! So they knew what they were selling and they said it was a good car (of course)! We liked the car and decided to buy it. The have a 3-day moneyback guarantee (or 150 miles)! (so at least when it doesn't start the next day or we have other weird problems immediately we can return it). The sales procedure was ok, although I still have to get used to the millions of signatures that you have to put down here for everything. They were friendly and took care of the whole paperwork and us, and we only had to come up an sign and pay. When we got outside, they even cleaned the outside (it was a little dusty before) and put some fuel in it (about half full) so that we didn't have to stop at the first gas station. So we had a nice ride home! Next day (unfortunately because of some bad experience) we had the car inspected at our local garage and ...... they told us we bought a good car! Just one minor detail, that could still cost us about $500 in a couple of weeks according to them. So we called Champion Acura to discuss this with them and they asked us to come back so they could have a look at it themselves and ..... they offered us a 6 month warranty on that issue as they thought it wouldn't be as bad as the inspection people suggested. So we didn't drive up 45 min-1 hour (one-way) for nothing! So we bought a good car for a good price and had a good buying experience! Way to go! So far: I think they are a good example of building up a good name and customer relation!Bought a used car for a great price!!
