  • Sold me a 2018 Hyundai Elantra without disclosing

    This dealership sold me a 2018 Hyundai ELANTRA without disclosing to me, that this type of car is extremely difficult to insure for full coverage. This is due to a security issue stemming from a TikTok video on how to steal the cars. I… purchased the car in good faith, and only after I returned home did I realize that my current insurance company would not Provide full coverage insurance. I spent approximately 10 hours researching and working on changing my entire insurance package to another Insurance provider.

    I bought this car from Mac Haik Georgetown. I was excited about it and except a missing part who no one was acknowledged, I will recommend this dealership to anyone. My sincerely advise is to check everything in and out of your vehicle… before to purchase. I gave them my five stars only because they were willing to take care of my car and because of my salesman, Angel who was very helpful to me.

    We had researched Ford Mavericks on the Ford web site and knew what features we wanted. MacHaik had several on the lot with those features. Picked a color and signed the deal all in one afternoon. Drove it home the next day. The sales… person answered all our questions. Only negative I have is the feature list on the window was not clear. List said Tool box $320. I haven't looked for that tool box. Car came with LoJack which wasn't listed, but seems like a good thing.

  • Easy Bronco Purchase

    I started shopping for my Bronco in March of 2023 when they were still scarce. I wanted a Wildtrak with the Lux package and a hard top, flexible on the color. Every dealer I spoke with just tried to convince me to buy from their Bronco… Sport inventory except Steven at Mac Haiak Ford. He asked about my timeline, found out I was in no hurry, and immediately gave me the option of placing an order for the exact Bronco I wanted. No deposit was required and I was guaranteed the sticker price. Over the next several months, Steven kept up light but consistent contact and I got an automated update from Ford every 45 days until I had a build date, and then more frequent updates with each status change until my Bronco was delivered to the dealership in January. Steven had us work with Doc to complete the sale, who was incredible. He was genuinely concerned about ensuring a positive experience and about our safety (he talked me out of some steps that have reports of being slippery). Doc is also very knowledgeable about the vehicles and their features, but more importantly, he knows when to give you all the info and when to tell you where to look it up once you're ready (there are A LOT of features on this thing). Steven remained a familiar face throughout the process and they both made the experience fun and painless. Shout-out to Olga in the finance department, as well. We only spent about 10 minutes with her, which is amazing!

    Everyone was very nice there when I purchased my vehicle, however when I went to pick it up after they said it was ready It wasn’t even at the dealership and was somewhere else getting inspected. It took over two hours for me to get my… vehicle that they said was ready and I had purchased this vehicle 3 days before hand. And when I got my vehicle it wasn’t even washed or detailed.

    I ordered a 2024 Mustang from Mac Haik with Nicole Stewart as my sales person. She was amazing the entire way through the process even though there was a mix-up on the tracking when another customer's order was mistaken for mine, but Nicole… was wonderful. I bombarded her with tons of messages during the almost 4-month process from order to delivery, and she took it all in stride. I would recommend Nicole and the people at Mac Haik in Georgetown to anyone looking to buy a Ford.

    The mobile truck came to our house to fix a recall on my Ford Expedition and my husbands Lincoln MKZ. Andy was so polite and professional. He actually showed up early, which was great. This is the first time we've had the mobile truck come… to our house. This is the only way to go, normally we take the cars to the dealership service department and sit there for hours. Since this was a recall there was no out of pocket money to us.

    Well its a year later and I have a better idea about what to expect from Mac Haik. Clay was helpful during the purchase but did not respond to subsequent questions after the purchase was completed. Recently I went to get a routine oil… change and wheel rotation from Firestone. Thats when I learned the wheel lock key was not provided at the time of purchase. THANK GOD I DID NOT HAVE TO CHANGE A TIRE DURING THAT YEAR! It took 3 days of calls using my work time to find someone to address the problem. Sophie at Mac Haik requested new wheel locks and a key. I appreciate that. The replacement took several weeks and I had to call for updates. When I took the car in to replace the wheel locks and have my tires rotated, it took several hours although they were expecting me. They did not and should not charge me for the replacement but compensation or even acknowledgement for the inconvenience, time taken from work and to drive from Austin to Georgetown for the work never occurred. They did not give me the wheel lock key but I searched before I left and found it in the glove compartment. I would not purchase from Mac Haik again because of the poor customer service. When the problem was identified, all of my subsequent interactions made me feel like they were doing me a favor by correcting their mistake. The interactions felt very different before vs after purchase. Live and learn. :(

    After getting my car cleaned at the carwash, it would not start. I called the Mac Haik Ford dealership. They checked my records and confirmed that I bought the battery from them. I got a jump and carried the car to them. Because it was… still under warranty, they replaced the battery free of charge. I've taken my car to them since 2019 and have always received excellent customer service. This is the place to come for all of your vehicle needs.
