by TexArk on 01/01/2022Called on Tacoma's I saw for sale on the internet. Have been looking in central Arkansas but market is more limited. Talked to Jason Jutz and he informed those allocations were already sold. We discussed what I was looking for, a black one… primarily. He told me he had some allocations coming in Barcelona Red. We talked several times and I was very impressed how he listened, answered all of my questions and concerns, and suggested some options. Ended up putting a deposit on one of the Barcelona red ones today. I'm supposed to get it by the end of the month and will be bringing my trade in to pick it up. So far, so good. I feel like it'll all go good, especially if the dealership is as customer oriented as Jason. Will update then.Tyler

by Eyeswideopen on 02/13/2021**Overall** a pleasant experience while shopping at Family Toyota in Burleson, even though we could not come to terms on a car, I would definitely add this dealership to your list of places to visit. Just don't get tricked into thinking… that the old sales games aren't still active. To wit: when I arrived they asked for my keys so they could "move" my truck. Then, whenever I wanted to get in my own vehicle, I had to ask for my keys. When we got to making an offer, I was asked to sign next to an "X" on a random piece of paper...as if I was somehow obligated to buy the car by signing a nothing piece of paper. Nex, the sales manager told me "that car arrived last night, and will be sold tomorrow" when I had already looked up on Edmunds that the truck had been on the lot for 9 days. All subtle stuff that makes you feel pressured to buy, and pretty standard fare. Just a bit amusing when they point to their "wall of words" that are supposed to reflect how they value and treat customers. Oh...the other funny thing was how I was told they lose money on the $1100 customer protection package that they add to ALL vehicles. Really? You consciously run your business that way - to lose money?!? Or are you telling me this to generate sympathy so that I won't ask you to take that off the purchase price? C'mon. I may have been born at night...but not LAST night.First New Car ;Older Female
by cjohns on 06/10/2019When I took Lyft to the Toyota Dealership in Burleson, I was primed for an unpleasant experience after having had a very bad experience four years earlier , at a different Toyota Dealership in west Fort Worth. I had listened to a… coworker praise the Burleson location for almost two years so when I was ready to buy Family Toyota of Burleson was my first stop. From the saleslady who greeted me, to the simple, straight forward purchase I could not have been more pleased! I waited almost ten months after my purchase to write this review because I wanted to see how the service wold be after my purchase. They are the absolute best! They consider the business a family, a part of the community and they treat their customers as such. When you are ready to buy a car, go to Family Toyota of Burleson Texas first.the old bait and switch or the "Ad" is wrong game.

Saw their Ad on CarGurus for $41137. went to the dealership was told Ad was wrong cant sell for less than $45000, so I walked. Sales manager chases me down and said Ok I'll sell it at the Ad… price. I go back in to start paperwork when he places contract with $4000 worth of add-ons that he wouldn't remove. I got up and walked out again.ONLY PAY IN CASH - Danielle in accounting sucks
by AJohnson on 12/12/2017These reviews are paid and I wouldn't believe anything positive you read. This dealership is completely crooked and incompetent. I had $2500 left on my trade in and they still have yet to pay my credit union for the vehicle they have had… for a month now. The first time, they sent it to the wrong bank. The second time, they put the WRONG name on the check. My bank called me and let me know. So, I called the dealership to let them know. I spoke with Danielle in accounting. I honestly cannot even believe this woman has a job. I tried to explain the situation to her and she hung up the phone on me. She then calls me back and says, "Let's try this again." I thought she accidentally disconnected the call, but she admitted to actually hanging up the phone on me for not letting her speak first! I can't even make this kind of stuff up. She then goes on to place blame on the sales people saying "how was she supposed to know the name, etc. etc." I told her all I wanted to know was when they were going to mail the payment out correctly. She goes on to say that I will need to send in a copy of my driver's license and she isn't sure and if she wasn't wasting her time on the phone with me, then she would've been talking to my bank instead. Her manager, Nicole, was conveniently in a meeting, so I'm still waiting on a call back. In the mean time, I spoke with Rosario, also in accounting, and she was much nicer! Like a night and day difference in customer service. However, I would still NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. They are a headache to deal with, they drag their feet, and they are EXTREMELY incompetent.Thank you for your feedback, Autumn. Best Car-Buying Experience I've Had
by SMUBall16 on 06/03/2016I could not be more pleased by the close, personal care I experienced from both Tammy Rix and Family Toyota as a whole. Over the years, all of the vehicles I have purchased have come from salespeople and dealers in the DFW metroplex area,… so I know how things typically (if not unfortunately) go; my recent purchase with Tammy was far and away the easiest, most comfortable, and most worthwhile that Ive ever encountered. I got exactly what I wanted, at a rate and monthly cost that certainly exceeded my initial goals, and not once did I feel as if she and her dealership did not have my best interests in mind. No matter how near or far you are from Burleson, I highly recommend you contact her! Once I made an initial phone call with some specs, she did all the work; after a test drive, we worked out an offer; and after making it to loan processing, the whole process took such little, hassle-free time that I was highly impressed. Im now in a fantastic, might-as-well-be-new vehicle, and the sometimes stressful parts of unnecessary haggling were nowhere to be found at any point during my process with Tammy. I found her to be absolutely genuine the whole way, which is often a lost commodity consumers now rarely see in the sales world. Whats most important, though, is that she took multiple moments to talk with me personally via telephone when I couldnt physically be on the lot (even before a sale was up for discussion); was outwardly honest talking to me in straightforward terms about my cars history, while being patient about the bevy of questions I had; and, after the purchase, has taken time to check in with me numerous times about how I like my new vehicle. No cold call or standard, automated email that Ive experienced in other buying instances; she herself has made sure that Im a legitimately happy customer. Should I need a new vehicle in a handful of years, she will be my first and only choice. If you need to change your perception about what car buying usually is, and instead need to see how it could be and what it should be, then give her a call! You will not regret your communication with her, and you simply will not find a more seamless, stress-free sales interaction.Thanks for taking the time to write your fantastic review! Easy Car Buying Experience
by lovewalt on 05/24/2016This was the easiest car shopping experience I have ever had. I gave Derrick a few items that I was looking for in a car, and that is exactly what I got. Your first choice is what they strive to give you. The entire process was a complete… breeze. From the moment I filled out the online credit application, I was in constant contact with someone at Family Toyota of Burleson. They are very hands on. Whether in person or via telephone or email, they are attentive to your specific needs and wants. They arent trying to just sell you any car, they want you to like what you buy and be completely satisfied. They do not rush you into buying the first thing you see, they take the pressure off so that you can actually choose a car you love and a car that is logical for you, Derrick didnt mind my constant phone calls either, I had a lot of questions because this was my first "brand new" car purchase. I was nervous and uncertain of what to expect and what it was that I really wanted, but Derrick eased my mind of any doubts. I put my trust in his expertise and I couldn't be more content with the car he helped me choose. Now having had the car for a little over a month I can truly say I don't have a bad thing to say about my experience. My Corolla suites me perfectly, down to the color! I enjoyed working with Derrick and I love my new Toyota! Added plus, they go the extra mile. Since receiving the keys Derrick has checked in with me several times to make sure I am pleased with the purchase. Can't fix small problems
by texxasguy on 01/11/2016I bought a new Tacoma from Family Toyota of Burleson about six months ago. The truck is great, like all the other Toyotas I have owned over the years. The dealership, however, has disappointed. They are a fairly new dealership and are… having problems solving even small problems. Although I bought the truck by myself and gave them all my correct contact info they have continued to send emails and even calls to my wife instead of me. Even XM radio was given the wrong contact info by them. This has resulted in me missing info sent by them. Today I left the Tacoma for a minor issue and gave the service agent MY cell number and sure enough they left a message on her cell phone. So I missed the contact for several hours and was greatly inconvenienced. I have discussed this with Family numerous times and always got the apology and the promise it will be fixed. This has gone on for six months. I find it hard to believe a dealership is so inept they cannot solve a small problem like this and it makes me wonder what would happen if I had a real problem. Ive owned a lot of Toyotas and never found another dealer that had such poor service and customer care.awesome place to buy a new/used car

Josh tackett actually negotiated deal on internet, thats very rare. Everyone in this place was… friendly, couldn't believe it.
