Great experience
by hankjr1 on 02/28/2013updated 05/31/2025This was my first time buying a car from Carmax, but not my last. From the minute we entered the showroom, we were treated courteously and respectfully. Our salesman, Jeremy, was professional and friendly. No sales pressure at all. He… simply answered questions and offered some suggestions. The test ride was great and we decided to buy the vehicle. The rest was amazing! Unlike other dealerships, this was a transparent, straightforward transaction, with no high pressure "sales managers" walking in to try to confuse the deal. LaShee who handled the paperwork was fantastic, and fast. Jeremy also gave us a tour of the shop and explained the process of selecting and prepping cars for sale. We bought a 2010 Tundra and it was in perfect shape. The whole experience took only two hours from arrival until driving out with the truck! It is the first time in my 60 plus years that I have enjoyed buying a car. Kudos to the Carmax concept!
