    I went to purchase my leased car. I had a pre-approval from my own bank and all I needed was the buyout packet. When they gave me the form of the total price there was a fee for "Resistall" I asked salesmen what that was for and he told me "it's just part of the closing cost" which is a complete lie. I had to google what that was and it is a clear coating they can add to cars for $299.00. I called salesmen to ask him why they added a service onto the deal and didn't disclose. He stated that it is part of the closing fee. But once again it is a service they weren't tell me or adding to the car. Then salesmen tells if I remove the "Resistall" then the closing fee would increase (WHICH IS 100% ILLEGAL) CLOSING FEES CAN NOT CHANGE FOR ANYONE OR ANY CAR. I will be contacting Hyundai directly and also contacting the S.C. Department of Consumer Affairs.

    I’m from Charlotte and heard about Benson Hyundai from a friend. I had been shopping for an SUV for a few months - I visited a couple of local dealerships and wasn’t happy with the options or the “deals”. I took a drive to Spartanburg and I couldn’t be happier! My salesman was friendly, not pestering, and knowledgeable. After looking at a few options, I met with the finance manager and together with my salesman, they got me a great deal and was able to drive home in my new 2018 Santa Fe!! I highly recommend this team!!

    These losers are slick. We had a deal set with the salesman Rod Kelly. They sent us to guy in the back to finish the paperwork. I knew they would offer an extended warranty and I would say no, which I did. They kept me talking while passing papers for my wife to sign, saying it was this and that, never mentioning the fees. My fault for not double checking the contract but they added the extended warranty $2000. No one returns my calls and they guy's signature is un legible and no where did he print his name. His photo is not on their website. I wish I had checked this site 1st; it sounds like it's happened to others. Do not even go there. Benson Hyundai do Spartanburg will rip you off.

    All this place cares about is their commission. I got ripped off. The manager is very knowledgeable I give him props for that! He knows his stuff! Very enthusiastic! Alexa works at the front desk sometimes. DO NOT GO TO HER. All she cares about is her commission and so does everyone else in that joint!

    Pay attention to details, because they don't. I had to return multiple times because their paperwork was incorrect. Before signing any paperwork I told them the numbers were wrong, they didn't seem to care. I waited over 2 months to receive my registration and it took them over a month to pay off my trade in. They also said they would "throw in" 2 years of service. They did indeed, to the tune of about $2000. I will drive to another city for my next Hyundai. The service department, on the other hand, seems great so far.
