  • Worst purchase of my life

    I purchased a 2017 Chrysler 200 last year and have had nothing but problems with the car. I have taken it back and forth several times and was told nothing was wrong with the car. The car jerks while driving. Theres something wrong with it! I was also told that I could refinance to get a lower payment.. Also a lie. Noone is willing to help with the issue so now I am stuck paying a high payment on a car that doesnt run properly. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never buy from this dealership again or recommend this place to anyone.

    We just bought a used Jeep Cherokee from Melanie. She was knowledgeable about the vehicle, and even put some options on the table we hadn't considered in trying to get out from under a vehicle we were upside down in. The overall experience was great. The sales manager (Phillip) worked hard to give us a very good trade-in value on our vehicle, and a fair price on our new Jeep. Overall, our experience was outstanding. I would not hesitate at all to purchase here again. Also, just as an aside... my son has an older Jeep that we have brought here for service... and honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else to have it serviced. They were prompt, fair, and found problems other car repair facilities had overlooked. Thank you to the entire team at MB Chrysler Jeep. You've earned our business.

  • Dreams and credit score plummet.

    Came in two weekends ago to purchase a 2018 Jeep compass. My sales representive Jenn W was great. This review is not a reflection on her but on the finance department of the dealership. That Friday evening I drove down to Myrtle Beach to test drive two cars I had been researching. The Jeep compass and the Cherokee. I could have driven to Wilmington dealership where my significant other purchased his Jeep but I didn't because Myrtle Beach dealership did not have the all black compass. Upon arriving and after test driving both I spoke to michelle and Jenn. Explained how I have a 767 credit score and only want TWO HARD INQUIRES on my credit report. Both Michelle and Michael on 4 different accounts between Friday and Sat reassured me that my credit would only be pulled two times. The reasoning behind this which I explained all 4 times was because of purchasing a home. The Monday after I started getting email alerts from many different credit agencies from credit karma that my credit had been ran 17 times, 15 times more than I asked for. With a credit score that high why was my credit ran that many times and also, why would I be reassured that it would not by two different managers on 4 different occasions? After speaking to some of the credit agencies these hard pulls stays on my credit 24 months. This will be one reason why I will not refer anyone to this dealership. Honesty and intergirity of the staff are important aspects of a company which I feel I did not get any of those upon my purchase. Also, my contract was done 4 times because of mistakes being on them. My trade in value was wrong on the first contract, the sales tax was wrong on the second contract, the price of the car was wrong on the third contract and the last contract was the GAP insurance which I did not want.

    They were completely honest with what my car was worth (I had done research before) and they were so hopeful in getting me exactly what I wanted! Everyone needs to buy a car here!

    This dealership will not follow through on their obligations after the sale is over. I've been lied to and given many excuses. I was given an improper temp tag. I've asked 4 times for a resolution to no avail. Take your money and go...unless you enjoy a pain [non-permissible content removed] buying experience.

    The the salesmans knowledge about the car I purchased was less than par. The one thing I asked about (mainly the gps being updated before I bought it) was told a lie about. It wasn't updated before I got it (I know this due to the prompts to update now popping up.) I just bought it and the oil change light message comes on every time I start the car. The rear entertainment console was not OEM as told by the salesman. It makes me wonder what else could I have been lie to about.... other than that the financial team was great and management was very nice.

    We went in to look at a used car, but it wasnt for us so decided to look at a Jeep Patriot..it won us over..we opted to lease this 3rd vehicle.. Lou Davis explained the process and made it so easy. We have bought from this dealership before and cant say enough about them.

    I was looking for a specific car and color in July 2005. I was unable to find one in Charleston, but found the correct Satin Jade 300C on the Myrtle Beach website. I requested a quote and was given the invoice price. Internet response (from the owner's daughter) was courteous and truthful. I told her we would be up to get the car. She responded that she would be off that day, but had given the information to another salesperson. When my wife and I arrived, Tim was expecting us. We were given a test drive of the car. I had already arranged financing through my credit union. There were a few add ons and we negotiated the price of those. Tim took a lot of time to show us the features of the car, called Sirius to get the satellite radio activated. He was obviously pleased and so were we. He said that he and the woman with whom I had corresponded would share the credit for the sale. All in all this was a very positive experience. I would recommend them and will strongly consider them when I buy again.

    Everyone at Myrtle Beach Chrylser was friendly, helpful and absolutely NOT PUSHY. This is the second Jeep I have purchased from them and I'm sure it won't be my last.
