Jose Pastrana’s Sonata
Overpromise but underdelivered
by Thebeckfour on 05/07/2025When I made the appointment for service online, I selected to stay and wait while the car would be serviced. So I arranged child care, drove 45 minutes, planning to be there for a few hours, potential most of the day, and upon arrival I was… told that wouldn't be an option. I would have to leave it 24-48 hours. So my husband had to leave work, drive an hour and a half round trip to pick me up and take me home so it could be left. Then two days in it hadn't even been looked at. Which was a Friday. So it would now be Monday before it was even looked at, let alone work done. We needed the car for the week so we had no choice but to drive back into town to pick it up on Saturday. All of our time, gas, etc was wasted. There shouldn't be an option to stay while work is done and appointments shouldn't be allowed to be scheduled if the car cannot be serviced in the time frame given.Hi, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. Car Purchase
by 23 Elantra on 07/25/2024We purchased a 2023 Elantra on a Saturday. It didn’t go through detailing at the time . The new salesman reassured us this was a CPO vehicle and stains in seats and holes in carpet will be taken care of. It was a 2 hour wait to go over the… paperwork. They only had one finance guy there who was new.Our sales person was nice but new. We when to pick up the vehicle on Tuesday 6:30pm the vehicle didn’t have any gas,the interior was not cleaned that well the stains were still there . All they did was vacuum and wash the exterior. The car mats was ordered after I complained some more because they were trying to give mats with holes in them. After cleaning the car 4hrs it looks alot better even getting some of the smoke smell out . The trunk had all kinds of trash all in the wheel well which I still have the picture. The lights are building moisture in them. Service stated that the car will sit there 5-7 days for diagnostics to be performed. by Pam Hall on 01/11/2024My service took a long time (an entire week) and I did not like that on top of that, I had to pay for a rental car for an entire week for an additional 400.00, over the cost of the servicing. People are always friendly as usual, but they… are always extremely busy and it takes a long time to get my service completed. I live in Gilbert, SC which is an hour drive into Columbia, and then have to wait 3-4 hours to get my car serviced on a regular basis is awful. I'm still having the problem of my "checking systems" notice staying on for longer than usual but I don't want to bring it back in and have to pay another rental fee on top of that.Hi Pam, we regret your experience with us here, but are glad you brought this to our attention. These folks made me feel at home and respected. They were just real people if you know what I… mean. That went a long way with me. The product really speaks for itself so I will not go into great detail. However, we are very impressed with the Palisade Calligraphy. Awesome ride.
